Table Football. A good game

Advantages: Good game. Fun. Good Graphics.
Disadvantages: Takes some getting used to

...Ok so i wasnt too sure about tis game at first. Im not the best at table football on an actual table, so playing it in simulation did'nt seem the best idea, but something was telling me to give it a go. I was not too sure wether it would work well on screen and how the controls would work. But i have to say im pleasantly surprized that this is actually a good game. I even won a medal for goalie in a college tournament, so when a major birthday loomed a year last November I decided to try and get my own football table. I tried various web sites and the one that seemed to offer the best combination of specification and value for money was the Garlando G500 from Table Sports Ltd. So I shelled out £285 plus £40 delivery on a Garlando G500 football table. Garlando G500 Table Football Table

Advantages: Commercial quality table at an affordable price.
Disadvantages: Assembly instructions and balls could be better.

...I recently bought a Garlando G500 table for use by all the family and have not been disappointed. I know Garlando tables from playing on their coin-operated models at college and was worried that the freeplay models would not give the same playability. However, the G500 uses the same telescopic rods as the tables I was used to and has the same size playing are so the feel is very similar. It is also heavy enough not to move around during play by 4 big lads and the contruction is completely rigid and very solid. Very few negatives other than a couple of the balls were a bit egg shaped although it came with 10 so 8 were fine ! The table was well delivered and was easy to set up although it did take some time to get the rods in the right order as the instructions were not very clear. Nice coffee table

...As one of those people who had a really old, proper wood coffee tables (it became a sanding experiment gone bad!), I didn't fancy going for a completely modern glass type one. I first came across the Nexus range at the sale in Macdonald's furniture, and decided to go for the coffee table and the lamp table in light oak. The range is also available in chestnut. I think the oak looks better in small spaces as it's a lighter colour - the glass panel in the middle also helps to give the feeling of space in a room. In my opinion, the table is stylish yet not in a way that will make it ever look outdated. It measures H41cm x W129cm x D62cm and has stylish slotted joints and a smoky glass insert and was apparently designed by a British designer. Top 10 Footballers (my opinion) of all time
