The machine has two USB ports in it's un-docked state, which is enough to plug a full size keyboard and mouse in, but not enough if you want to put an external CD or DVD drive in as well. It does however have a serial port so you could use this for an external mouse or keyboard. When the machine is closed up in tablet mode, and when you are carrying it in the case, the screen is outwards. I'm worried that this may mean the screen could get scratched although this hasn't happened yet. The PC sometimes seems slow to respond, at only 1GHz it is not as fast as other bigger laptops on the market. I'm not sure whether the freezing is to do with the tablet, or Windows XP as this is the first time I have used either. I am about to purchase... Read review

...I felt that I needed the Easyshare Camera Dock II to go with the purchase of my new Kodak DX4530 digital camera basically because the battery supplied with the camera was non-rechargeable. Once it's dead, it's dead and you need to go out and buy a new one. However, the camera dock is supplied with an Ni-MH rechargeable battery. The dock is attached to the mains and to your PC via the USB cable that came with the camera, and the idea is that you simply plug the camera directly into the dock and it automatically downloads your pictures onto your computer and recharges your battery. This seemed like a pretty good idea and not too expensive at £45.00. ...I bought this dock about 4 months ago and I have been using it on a daily basis every since, I got this dock so that I could play my music through speakers (without unplugging headphones) and use the remote so I don’t have to move to change the song and FF,RW etc (lazy). I have been using this dock for around 4 months on a daily basis and I think that the dock is wicked, I have had no problems with the dock and it has made my music listening much more enjoyable because I can use the remote to control the Ipod (Remote Purchased Separately). And I don’t have to remove the headphones to use the speakers as the dock has a 3.5 audio jack built in, and I can use the dock for data transfer with my pc as well as charging through the mains (cables have to be bought separately too). And scene as though I have the video Ipod I can use the docks... Read review

...The Apple Nano dock is a very simple device that allows the user to plug their iPod nano (1st generation only) into the computer/charger and hold the Nano upright by pushing it into a docking cradle. The dock does not come with any cables and if a charger is required it must be purchased separately. The dock also has a 3.5" minijack which is useful if the user wants to plug the Nano into speakers or a stereo in a convenient and attractive manor. Unlike the larger iPod dock, the Nano dock has no infra red port, so you can not remotely control the functions of the Nano while it is in the dock. Since the 1st generation Nano has been out of production for around two years, high street stores have been offering this item on clearance and I was able to find it for £1. ...First of all, i purchased this when buying my 30GB black, a couple of things made me like this docking station, i prefer plugging it into my surround sound system so i this is why i went for it has a 3.5mm line out. Then, i could watch my music videos, using the 'S-VIDEO' out on the back of the dock. And i can charge/sync my ipod using the apple socket at the back. Only problem i found was, if you want to control your ipod remotely you have to purchase the apple remote. Which is another £20 in the shops, what i would reccommend which is what i did, was purchase a apple remote of ebay, obviously you might not be as lucky as me, but i managed to get one for £11 inc delivery off there. Also a good stand for it to sit there and look pretty :) and it comes with all the adapters to fit all ipods.... Read review

...Having owned this product for just over a year I can safely say it is pretty much useless! There are several things wrong with this product which makes it just a complete waste of money. First of all the Dock is designed so you can download your pictures from your digital camera to your computer and also print off your favourites, bypassing a computer, onto glossy photo paper. The dock only takes Kodak digital cameras models: CX 6000/7000, DX 6000/7000 and LS600/700. The dock is meant to automatically recognise when the camera is connected and allow you to download your photos. However what normally happens is that the camera has to be attached and reattached and turned on and off until it works. Then when it is recognised it will begin to download to your PC, to the poorly designed software - the Kodak Easyshare center... Read review

...I bought this unit in November this year. There are two models, the original sound dock which I think is about £199 and the second generation one (the one I bought) which was £279 from John Lewis. The second generation one is basically the same as the first except: a) it has a rechargeable battery b) it has a swing out dock c) it has an auxiliary (3.5mm) jack input If you just want a basic model, then go for the first gen one. I got the second gen one because I thought the battery was a useful addition as is the auxiliary 3.5mm input - I have mine connected to an apple airport express that streams itunes from my laptop to my bedroom although I have used it in a friends house with my ipod too. The sound quality is good for its size which is about the same as a hardback book and it weighs in at about 1 kilo. You can take... Read review

...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. I'm a bit of a spend thrift so was looking through the Sainsbury's aisles for some cheap dishwasher tablets. I had run out and didn't want to buy a lot of tablets until I was able to go and buy some tablets at wholesale prices. I noticed this at the top of the shelf because it was on offer. 25 tablets for £1.99, saving a 1/3 off the normal price.
