This is very simply because it actually does take the make up off and has no problem with even the most water-resistant mascara, eyeliner or long-lasting lipstick. Besides that it will not leave this oily residue on your eye that makes your vision blur. It also is not too greasy on the skin and does not irritate the eye. ...This product is readily available to buy at the Clinique counter in department stores such as Debenhams, online or at Boots the Chemist. I bought mine from Boots and paid £15.50, but I'm sure if you browsed the internet, you'll be able to purchase it at a discounted rate (for example, the website 'Skin Store' are advertising it for £12.95). Having said this however, I truly believe that Clinique 'Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk' is well worth the amount of money I paid). ...I'm a big fan of Clinique and was looking for a decent make up remover as I wear waterproof mascara. So, I was sailing through Debenhams one day and decided to purchase this one from trusty old Clinique. After a hefty nights partying, despite being completely shattered, I decided to be a good, clean, sanitary, cosmo-girl and get out the cotton pads, along with my shiny new bottle of 'Take the day off' I put the pad to my face and began to clean off the make-up. I have to say that it felt greasy as soon as it went on, not comfortable and a little sticky. I had to immediately wash my face afterwards to rid myself of this horrid stuff! Although I have to say that it did do the job it was meant to and all traces of my make up were gone. It cost me a fortune and it may as well have gone down the loo! I have only used it once... ...I've been a regular Clinique aficionado for many years now. I've always been a big fan of their moisturisers, particularly the Dramatically Different creams. I've tried a whole heap of products now and in the main I've been pretty impressed. I particularly like the special offers they do where you get a bunch of free stuff when you spend over a certain amount. This is where I came across Take the day off make up remover for lids lashes and lips. I'd never noticed this product before and I certainly wouldn't have considered paying £11.50 for it so this idea is a smart move on Cliniques part, (as I'm sure they're aware) I you like it of course you'll buy the next one. Advantages: Lasts forever, easy on your eyes, does exactly what its supposed to do.
Disadvantages: None, but remember it's a cleanser and therefore has to be rinsed off.

...This product is such a recommendation from me. I am relatively new to Clinique because i used to be allergic to it. But nowadays my skin is a little older and a little more picky. I bought this product because it was recommended by a friend who swore it could shift even pesky stage make up. Anyone who,like me, has worn stage make up to it's full potential will know how hideous it is to remove but with this product you merely swipe it on (maximum panda effect that is so worth it!) all over, rubbing it into your eyelashes especially and then rinse of with water. ...My mum gave some free little bottles that came in with the bonus gift. I'd have to say that it is one of the best eye makeup removers out there. The only thing is that it is quite pricey...but I use it on a daily basis.-So you may as well treat your eyes well and not get the eye make up removers that take a while to get your eye makeup off, after all it is an important part of any skincare regime. :) This product contains a visible amount of oil on the bottom and liquid on top-which you 'shake to activate' and the liquid turns smooth and slightly frothy . It has a light toner smell to it, nothing heavy. Other reviews claim this left them a greasy mess but that is not the case at all. This does not leave your skin oily. Advantages: Stay at home and watch the World cup football/Tennis

...With the world cup just a few weeks away many footballer fans around the world are trying to come up with good excuses to take a day off work or go to work late. ...I usually wear lipsticks in neutral or nude shades although I do have a couple in bolder, more dramatic shades which I wear from time to time for a change. Often, though, I apply one of these shades, immediately think better of it and try to wipe it off and return to one of the colours I'm more comfortable with. However, because I'm an advertiser's dream, I tend to buy those indelible lipsticks - you know, the ones promoted by Hollywood makeup artists, the ones that stay put after you filmed ten takes snogging Brad Pitt or drunk half a dozen glasses of Bollinger. ...to convince his parents that he is far too ill to go to school, using pre-recorded coughing and sneezing sounds to fool them and producing an enormously high reading when he takes his temperature, again a fraud. Once he has done this he hoes about planning how to spend his day off. He contacts his best friend Cameron (Alan Ruck), who ironically is genuinely ill and can barely pull himself out of bed and somehow convinces him into taking his dads Ferrari out for the day - they think they will be able to wipe any miles they clock up during the day by returning home in the car in reverse gear, very odd!
