...My old Epson finally gave up the ghost around 10 months ago, which lead me to look for a new Printer to hopefully last me the next 5 years. I eventually chose the Brother HL6050. Although this machine is probably the largest of the ones I looked at, it is by far the best. 42cm deep, and 31 cm tall. The Brother Hl 6050 is a mono laser printer, and cost me £299 from dabs.com. Incredibly quick printing, for the price (24ppm - pages per minute), and a paper tray which holds a full ream (500 sheets). You can use traditional cables, or USB or Infra red. I use USB, as this is very quick and reliable, unlike the infrared. One very useful function is the reprint function. If you have just printed out a document, and need another, simply press the reprint button, tell it how many copies you require, and press go... Read review

...So working from home, you really need a good printer, yes I have the HP Photosmart 2610, but really I didn't want to be constantly using a colour printer, so I decide that a Laser printer was what I needed. *** What did I get ? *** After much thought, and looking at various options, I went for the Brother HL-6050D, although as I have a network at home, I should have gone for the HL-6050DN, oh well live and learn. I got this printer on line from Misco, and it cost me around £340, but looking around you can get it for anything from £315 up to £390. *** What's in the box? *** The box is rather large, about a 75cm cube, it weighs about 20kg. Under pressure from the authorities Rheinhardt and Liebermann must crack the case before more deaths ensue. ...The Tally 8008 looks stunning. It stands proud in the corner of our ICT Suite offering visitors a tangible sensation of cutting edge reprographics. The best way to admire the machine however is on 'standby' for when you begin to demand of it the Tally 8008 provides a fantastic advert for other printing companies. Fortunately, the Tally came with a five year on site warranty, hence my lead for this review; "Cheaper than online dating …". Our administrator has seen more of the Tally engineer in the last five years than she has of her own husband. Tally field services is stored on the phone's of most of those with the authority to initiate a field call. So, what makes this machine so unreliable? I wish I knew. The quality is superb and the value for money I believe to be good also. We purchased our Tally 8006e to replace a Hewlett Packard networked inkjet printer (2500) that was proving unreliable on the network and expensive in ink. A little research showed that the cost per page jumps down quite significantly when using a colour laser printer. Advantages: control of the fox population
Disadvantages: a sensitive, immotive subject that is open to abuse

...for hunting runs from November to March and hunts outside of this time are banned. The huntsman leads the pack off by sounding his horn and the pack then search for the scent of a fox. This is unpredictable and some would say adds to the excitement and unpredictability. Once the scent is picked up the hunt will go in pursuit and the chase will go on until the fox is killed or goes to ground. Digging out of foxes is only allowed with the express permission of the land owner. The pack of dogs will then be re-cast and the process begins again.
