...There are two approaches to take to the acting of Keanu Reeves. His detractors, to put it bluntly, say he can’t act. Supporters think he is a good actor with some very bad movies littering his filmography, "Johnny Pneumonic" and "Chain Reaction" being two of them. I find myself leaning more toward a Keanu supporter. Truly bad actors don’t continually get top-notch projects with large budgets. When he releases a film, I’m wary of its merits because of his recent tack record of duds, not because of him personally. With "The Matrix," he has restored my faith in his choice of roles. Larry and Andy Wachowski, the tag team brothers who brought us the great lesbian film noir "Bound," wrote and directed this wild piece of science fiction. Advantages: intelligent & complex plot, visually stunning

...no mistake, this is one of the most complex stories ever to grace mainstream cinema. As a side-note, Reloaded contains a bit more humour in its script than the first Matrix did. For all those who claim that there is either inconsistency or incoherence in the story/plot, trust me.. the answers may be hard to find, but they ARE there. I think no-one besides the Wachowskis themselves can claim to know each and every answer to every question raised by these movies, but I think that's half the fun. I must have watched this movie like 50 times and I still get something out of it everytime I do. New to the Matrix line-up are the excellent Lambert Wilson, who plays The Merovingian a powerful program who is an exile in the Matrix and has some great dialogue as well as some of the funny moments I mentioned earlier. .... The final battle follows, ending with both Neo and Mr Smith perishing, and resulting in the machines withdrawing from Zion. The Characters and the Acting It is said that Keanu Reeves bagged a cool $8m per film… which is nice. He got to play a character with no personality whatsoever, and who spoke like a drone, calm and boring. Sadly, some of the lines he was given made him seem really cheesy, but then again, the same could be said for any of the characters. The white station scene was at a particular low, but the overall dullness of Neo made him rather uninteresting. Not that Keanu Reeves didn’t put in a good performance, but I think that the script didn’t do Neo justice. The film was made up of clichés from start to finish: “Everything that has a beginning, has an end”, “I don’t believe in the one, I believe in him”… good business... Read review

According to a Oracle prophecy one man will break the reign of the machines and bring down the Matrix, and Morpheus is convinced that ’’Neo’’ is the One. According to him, we human’s don’t give birth in those era, but we are actually grown and energy is being pulled out from the baby, which helps these machines to live for ever. Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), is one more hacker who actually along with Neo fights the agents. Neo is supposed to be the only person as fast and swift as these machines, hence Morpheus thinks that he is the only person to save them from the Agents (Computer Viruses). The end of the film comes up like a slap in the face with a wet fish and left me with a similar taste – disappointing doesn’t cover it. ……to be continued !! the damn cheek of it how dare those Wachowski Brothers treat us like that, all we are left with is that Neo’s journey to save those in exile from the Matrix has only just begun. The Matrix Reloaded is a film of 2 halves. 1st, it runs at a trot through the underworld city of Zion and its inhabitants. As already mentioned, the sets are splendid in their intricacy, but too much to take in and you just feel its too fussy with too little effort made to develop a decent story line with the main characters. 2nd, it’s a re-run of the Matrix, ultra-fast action 21st century KungFu and a real unreality trip. ...the trailer but I thought they were a let down, all the best shots with them in were in the trailer and even though they had about 3 lines they acted them purely. Persephone: [Monica Bellucci] Nice to look at, but as a jealous, bitter incidental added no more than a diversion to the plot Still a recommendation? I still enjoyed this film and though I take it apart and analyse it that is all that matters really. It is not the classic Matrix was, it couldn’t be, all the parts are already there, but it does set you up for the next movie, and I’m looking forward to that. ...The Matrix Reloaded... I was originally going to not write an op on this, as it's just so confusing and it would be a case of the blind leading the blind, but I'll have a go anyway! If you haven't seen the Matrix, then here's a quick summary: Neo (Keanu Reeves) is a computer programmer. He meets Morpheus, who is the one who inform him of The Matrix. The Matrix is much like a computer programme, controlled by machines, where we (normal humans) are living, completely unaware our whole lives are just one big hoax. ...Enter the matrix is the game which follows the plot of the matrix trilogy as you play as the crew of the logos. I do recommend that you watch the matrix series before you play the game, as then I will be easier to understand what the story is all about. Game storyline The logos has received information that the ship Osiris has made an emergency drop off in the matrix, the main reason that captain niobe thinks this drop off is important is because the captain of the osiris thought drop offs were not reliable and dangerous to pick up.
