Pirelli P6000
Review of Pirelli P6000 by
lostsworld
Advantages: Will keep you on road
Disadvantages: Pricey
...There are a few reviews already on this tyre but I will give my view and add some information for those who don't really know much about tyres, I'm not an expert so please correct me if I am wrong with any of the details.
Pirelli are one of the top brand names when it comes to tyres, they can be slightly more expensive than some other top brands and are reasons other than garages trying to make a buck or two on them. Pirelli tyres are a well balanced tyre for all occasions and most driving styles. Pirelli are preferred tyres for manufacturers such as BMW, Ford and Vauxhall and some others. Infact when I bought my Vauxhall Vectra it had 4 Pirelli P6000 and still has. Previous to buying this car I had always used budget tyres and even when to car dismantlers and bought good tyres for £6 - £8 depending on quality of tread. I've used...

The NC6000 - The Traveller's Choice
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook nc6000 - Pentium M 1.6 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
mattyprice4004
Advantages: *GREAT* Battery life, speakers, graphics and Screen!
Disadvantages: Poor touchpad, unit is a little chunky to carry around for a long time
...The NC6000 is what I woulod consider a happy medium between life on the road, and a powerful gaming laptop.
It's not often you see that, but with an ATI Radeon 9600 graphics card pre-installed as standard, you won't really get a lot better unless you seriously compormise battery life.
As a Power laptop, the NC6000 shines. All applications positively fly, and you can easily multitask without having to slow down too much. 512MB RAM is easily enough for basic Internet and gaming, but the laptop will take upto 2GB if the need arises.
Now I'll explain the NC6000's top selling point - It's large 4.4Ah battery. The pack itself is fairly small, but with the Pentium M being as energy efficient as it is, 5 hours is easily possible.
When I purcahsed my NC6000 I upgraded to a larger 5.8Ah battery from eBay UK for around £50, giving me...

Compaq Presario V6000
Review of HP Compaq Presario V6000TX by
callumbm
Advantages: Incredibly fast and capable of managing demanding apllications.
Disadvantages: Surface smudgy - very hard to keep clean,
...A perfect blend of professional computing and easy to use hardware. The Presario V6000 utilises most of the hardware found in professional corporations as a basis for its personal or family orientated laptop computer. Built purposely for Windows Vista Operating System, the V6000 uses this feature to its full advantage working flawlessly with all the Vista Versions.
Employing only the fastest of processors, the CPU of the V6000 rivals that of most modern desktops. It uses Dual-Core processors either by AMD or Intel, both working over 1.7GHz and hard-drives ranging from 80-160GB. The V6000 is truly excellent for smoothly running the most demanding of applications.
Serving its multimedia needs the V6000 is complimented by a Matshita DVD+RAM, capable of playing all DVD and CD formats on a HD widescreen. Also, the V6000 has a high...

Road Angel Navigator 6000 with Blackspot
Review of Road Angel Navigator 6000 by
kb277
Advantages: Speed camera warnings, accident blackspot warning, gets you there
Disadvantages: annoying audible in average speed camera area
...I bought a road angel navigator 6000 a little over a year ago now, i got it second hand for £50 as it had no sd card that contain the maps included, i was quite happy as my friend had one of these with the sd card so i figured i could just make a copy of his card, insert it and away i go. This is what i did and hey presto off we go no problem at all.
To be honest i don't actually find the 6000 to bad although i notice a few people have come up with some horror stories regards the software not giving them the correct information.
Its a simple basic machine that does what it says it does. I have used it on several occassions when travelling round glasgow, edinburgh and birmingham and find it to be of satisfactory use. Ok so there are a few bad points to it but you almost come to expect this with everything in this day and age...

The Epson "Stylish" DX6000
Review of Epson Stylus DX 6000 by
Miss_giggles
Advantages: Envelope printing, hidden ports, great design
Disadvantages: Disappointing LCD display
...EPSON STYLUS DX6000
The Epson stylus DX6000 printer is a nice size and really compact for what it offers. Its silver/ grey colour gives the printer an extremely professional and modern look. In fact, it was its striking appearance that immediately drew me to it when shopping one afternoon in PC world with no real intention to purchase a printer that day.
I love gadgets and this printer is certainly accommodating of my needs. I really like the numerous ports and slots it has for expandable memory and external flash drives. Everything from your standard SD, MS, xD and even CF cards can be plugged into this machine for easy access to your pics. It also includes the common PictBridge port which I know is a favourite for a lot of people. The port are cleverly concealed with a cover over them. This has the added benefit of them...

HP DV6000 - Great value for money!
Review of HP Pavilion dv6000t by
oxonian00
Advantages: Sleek, solid performance all-round.
Disadvantages: Slightly short battery life.
...I really like this laptop and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget notebook to give them access to the Internet, decent games and a workstation. I picked up the DV6000 in the UK for around the 400-pound mark and it has served me well as a desktop replacement while working abroad.
It looks good and feels good with a tactile silky texture, has a 15.4 inch high-resolution screen that is easy on the eyes and has decent in-built speakers which I found fine for gaming.
It has good specs for a notebook, which can handle even fairly demanding modern games (it has an Nvidia GeForce Go 7500). By way of example, I played Neverwinter Nights 2 on the DV6000; whilst I did have to turn most of the graphic settings right down, the game ran fine and was fully playable (and Neverwinter Nights 2 is known as a fairly demanding game...

Epson Dx6000 - A Great printer @ A Great Price!
Review of Epson Stylus DX 6000 by
cambria83
Advantages: Cheaper Cartridges, Looks Smart, Good Quality Prints and Scans
Disadvantages: Takes up a fair bit of space, slightly noisy!
...I spent a while on the net and looking around shops for a cheap All-In-One printer that would also produce good quality prints and good quality scans. After reading reviews of various printers I finally settled for the Epson Dx6000 at a bargain price of just £75!
USEFUL FEATURES
Some useful features that I have enjoyed so far are:
- The camera card slots for ease of printing digital prints
- The LCD Screen (displaying ink levels and your pictures from any inserted card or USB device, also allowing you to use the printer standalone without a computer)
- The cheap cartridges that can be replaced by colour so that it's not necessary to replace the entire colour cartridge when one colour runs out!
OVERALL QUALITY
The printing quality on this machine is exceptional and you could go out and spend a whole lot more...

ELONEX Desktop PC (Athlon 64 X2 6000+) from ASDA
Review of Elonex Athlon 64 X2 6000 by
volcano
Advantages: reasonable high spec, plenty of USB ports, wireless LAN, firewire, very good price
Disadvantages: missing operatin system CD-ROM for that batch, took a long time to get it
...I bought this system back in August from ASDA electricals (on behalf of Elonex) for £464.95 (+ £12 delivery charge) with standard 1 yr warranty. The system arrived 3 days later. Around that time only and at that price I got AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Dual Core Processor, integrated 256mb PCI Express Graphics card and 7.1 Surround Sound, 2GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM, 320GB Maxtor DiamondMax 21 SATA-II Hard Disk, 18x Samsung DVD-Rewriter Multiformat inc. dual layer, 20" LCD monitor with speakers, Multi-Card Reader, Microsoft Keyboard & Optical Mouse. The Operating system (OS) is XP Home (XP Pro would be nice, XP Pro 64-bit even better). All software and drivers are pre-installed. The system is ready to run and doing well until one day I wanted to install some foreign fonts for my web browsers. It asked for the system CD-ROM and it is missing...

Inspiron 6000
Review of Inspiron 6000-A perfect balance of multimedia performance and mobility by
SparkyST
Advantages: Great Screen size
Disadvantages: Scratches easily, Battery recall issues
...Im very happy with my Dell Inspirion 6000. Perfect laptop for any home user.
Widescreen monitor is perfect for surfing the net and speed and reliabilty is excellent. I havent come across any problems with my Inspirion as of yet and I have owned it for a year and a half.
Its lightweight for its size and the built in wireless card is faultless. The only negatives I have about this laptop is that the silver paint scratches easily and soon becomes tatty looking.
Beware if you are buying one to check the battery as you may have read in the news Dell have had to recall a lot of them due to risk of them exploding. Check Dells website for more info on if your battery is effected. They replace it fairly quickly and within 2 weeks of reporting my battery as being one of the ones recalled a new one was shipped to me.
Processor speed...

Inspiron 6000 - not a good choice on the whole
Review of Dell Inspiron 6000 (N04606) by
jemima.peter
Advantages: Large screen, stylish looks, good technical support from Dell
Disadvantages: Short battery life, heavier than most laptops, unreliable
...When reviewing something like this, I prefer to leave it a little while after first use to give myself time to become familiar with the product. Since my Inspiron 6000 arrived last May I've had plenty of opportunity to get used to it, and I don't like what I see.
It all looked very promising on the Dell website, 1.8GHz Intel Pentium processor, 512MB RAM, DVD burner, standard graphics card and wireless connections, and Windows XP Pro yet supposedly simple enough even for someone new to laptops (i.e. me). It all went great until I actually started using it.
The first problem I hit was the screen. At 17" widescreen it should have been ok, but the levels of brightness available make viewing difficult sometimes even at the brightest settings. Shortly afterwards I was testing it to see what it could do, and discovered the DVD writer...
