Tango, my favourite drink after cider
Review of Tango Orange Soft Drink by
fannloi
Advantages: a marvellous taste
Disadvantages: I don't have any more
...Some years ago, my brother told me about a wonderful product that he had found during his travel to england. This was a very nice drink : Tango.
As there's no general categories for Tango, I've decided to write my advice there.
Tango has different tastes, and today, I'll write about Tango blackcurrant, Tango orange and Tango apple. All those products are soft drinks.
TANGO BLACKCURRANT is my favourite
First, you have to pay attention because it contains a source of phenylalanine. There's only 5% of blackcurrant juice, with sugar, carbonated water, citric acid, flavourings, sweeteners, preservative and colours.
Well, there are lots of bad things, but this is irresistible. I've never found such a good taste since I came back France.
TANGO ORANGE
As for tango blackcurrant, there's a source of phenylalanine...

Ciao Gets Tango'd
Review of Tango Orange Soft Drink by
Nathan_Innit
Advantages: Better than Fanta
Disadvantages: Think of your teeth
...You know when you've been tango'd. Lets face it, it's probably one of the most well known ad campaigns in recent memory, and Tango is a brand I love that stands well up against lets be true here - the GIANTS that are Coca Cola. I wouldn't be surprised if Tango have been given the opportunity to sell out on more than one occassion, but stay true to what they love, and that is fizzy drinks. This review in particular is for the orange flavoured Tango drink, so let it commence.
For the purposes of this review I've got a 1.5 litre bottle of Tango Orange, although as you would expect it comes in all different shapes and sizes. My mum was just up KFC yesterday and decided to purchase it, they must have sold it to her with some special deal, and I was lucky enough to find that reviews were needed for the product. The bottle is quite long...

Tan-go and get a can.
Review of Tango Orange Sparkling Drink, Diet by
Tribute
Advantages: Orangey
Disadvantages: bits in drink.
...Following my last opinion on a drink getting a good reception, I have decided to do yet another one. This time it is the orange flavour drink, Tango.
Tango is, and always has been one of my favourite drinks. Well that wasn’t hard to do. A few years, or even months ago, all you needed to do to get me to buy a drink was have a picture of an orange on it. Since Fanta Fruit Twist has come out my whole drink thinking has turned around.
Tango is made by Britvic (you know, the people who rip you off in mini bars in your hotel, charging you about £1:50 for a drink.) and if you have any problems with the product you can contact them at:
Britvic Soft Drinks LTD.,
Chelmsford,
England
Or you can visit their web page at www.tango.com
The drink is packaged in a plain black can with burst of orange on it and the black and white tango sign...

I've been Tango'ed,and it didn't hurt a bit.
Review of Tango Orange Soft Drink by
MandyMinx
Advantages: Strong container.
Disadvantages: The taste of sweetners is overpowering.
...Yippee....!!! I've been tango'ed and what a more fitting way to celebrate this momentous occasion than by writing an op on the legendary drink itself.
I am sure you are aware of the contraversial advertizing campaign that brought Tango to the tip of everyone's tongues...Who can forget that bright orange guy in the rather large orange nappy running around the streets slapping unsuspecting tango drinkers around the face.
Of course there was an uproar as hundreds of mothers started hiding in ther houses as irate parents banged on the door to complain that little Jimmy had just Tango'ed the girl next door. From this they went on to the next campaign...Still the orange man, but this time he planted a smacking great kiss on the mouth of unsuspecting tango drinkers. Great advertising campaigns that made Tango a household name.
It seems...

Someones been Tangoed
Review of Tango Orange Soft Drink by
magicloudz
Advantages: Partially made with real oranges
Disadvantages: Can’t get it everywhere
...Menacing its way from the shelf is the predominantly black plastic bottle of Tango. The £1.19 label on the two litre size instantly attracts my attention, since most similar drinks of this volume are priced around the £1.50 mark.
So what is Tango? It is a carbonated fruit drink, in this instance in its orange variety. It even has 8% real orange fruit inside, representing a vitamin C intake for everyone participating in the consumption of a bottle.
Now maybe it’s just me, but Tango seems to have a very Nineties feel to it. Ever since the “you know when you’ve been Tangoed” adverts, and the subsequent success, this drink has appeared to diminish in quantities on the shelves. The resurgence of Fanta seems to have hit Tango hard, affecting sales, and now it is not often I have the chance to buy this. Old skool...

You Know When You've Not Been Tangoed!
Review of Tango Orange Soft Drink by
thespurs
Advantages: Tastes very nice, gives your tongue a tingling sensation when you drink it, very fizzy
Disadvantages: Not very good for you, can be expensive in some place
...~Introduction~
As some of you may or may not know, I recently posted a review of the Tango television advertisements, which I think went down pretty well. I have chosen to review orange Tango, after buying a bottle of it yesterday, for the first time in a long while. I had just had an hour of badminton for my PE lesson at school and I was pretty thirsty afterwards. So, money in hand I marched up to the vending machine to find something of a product overhaul. The drinks on offer had changed, from Coke and Fanta to Pepsi and Tango. Having memories of Apple Tango tasting like cider and being bored of Coke and Pepsi, I punched in the code E4 and a bottle of orange Tango was released.
~Taste~
The taste of orange Tango is one that leaves you pretty satisfied. The flavour is pretty sharp and tangy; you really feel the orange...

HAVE YOU BEEN TANGOED
Review of Tango Orange Sparkling Drink, Diet by
melsey
Advantages: Great Fizzy drink
Disadvantages: ummmmm none
...Well have you been Tangoed, well there is more chance of me being tangoed then actually doing the TANGO!!!
Tango was a drink that I have to say I didn't really bother to drink, so a big thumbs up to the great advertising idea they had of a man painted ORANGE chasing people down the street, oh and he also had a big blown up rubber glove which he very sweetly waved in someones face and with the ending slogan "AVE YOU BEEN TANGOED". There were afew more adverts for this drink but this is the one that sticks in my mind. Its funny how the most weird adverts stick in my head.
The drink itself has a truely tangy orange taste and is avaliable in a can and then a 500ml bottle and a family 2ltr bottle. When opening the bottle the flow of orange fizz truely is fizzy with not a sign of tasting flat.Just a tip to all you guys, we do tend...

Tangy 0range Tango
Review of Tango Orange Soft Drink by
bryspy
Advantages: no artificial colours or flavours
Disadvantages: sweeteners, if you don't like them
...A review on regular Orange Tango, they do a diet version as well.
I was lured to go into Instore again this week. By lured I mean that my son dragged me in because of the offers on the drinks! Anyway, The Tango orange caught my eye. I usually go for the apple, but I'll try anything once (Well, perhaps not anything!). I haven't actually had one of these for several years and I began to wonder why. Was because I wasn't impressed? I couldn't remember so decided to find out.
A Few Facts
Tango was launched by Corona Soft Drinks in 1950.
It differed from their other drinks because it had real fruit in it.
It is now made by Britvic.
Other Tango flavours are apple, cherry and citrus.
No atrificial colours or flavours.

You definitely know when youve been Tangoed
Review of Tango Orange Soft Drink by
siso
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: Read op
...Tango ads are probably the best ads around. Well actually I'm telling a lie because the only good ad they did make was the one where the fat orange man slapped the people round the face. Since silly kids copied them, they had to ban this (which I have to say is disgraceful due to the hillarious nature of the action).
So the drink - well it aint the best orange drink ive had because it leave a horrible taste in your gob, as well as leaving your tongue rough. Plus this most definitely does not taste like orange to me, so why label it as being orange flavoured? The drink also burns my throat a bit once consumed because there is a lot of fizz in this drink, as well as the taste also burning. It really is horrid to have, so thats why I tend not to get this. I would usually recommend a soft drink made by an established manufacturer because...

It takes One to Tango
Review of Tango Orange Soft Drink by
ginger59
Advantages: fizzy, when freezing cold is refreshing
Disadvantages: when warm is horrible
...I'm sitting in a hotel bedroom on my own and thinking of this little can of orange Tango that my partner bought for me for 25pence a couple of days ago becasue I was coming away and it was packed in my bag. Well, it's roasting hot here, even in spite of the air conditioning, and the little can has been in the fridge until now.
It's one of the little 150 mil cans that you buy at supermarkets and I find it to be enough for me. Big cans of sweet fizzy drinks get wasted a lot in our house becasue I can't drink a full one.
PRICE
Cans can vary from shop to shop, but mostly under 50p.
Bottles. Sainsbury and Tesco have offers - currently buy one get one free. £1.20...good value all round.
SENSORY TEST...
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
The can..round, black with exploding oranges on it and is about 4" tall. The ring pull on the top...
