But tanks? I know nothing about engines - I have trouble locating the bonnet release catch on my car - and have little interest in heavy metal in any form. I was still iffing and butting as we pulled up outside and went in, as I always knew we would. We emerged about 2½ hours later having had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Advantages: Fantastically relaxing and uplifting experience
Disadvantages: wish I could afford a tank for my home ;o)

...I'd seen the horror of the movie Altered States way back when, plus Homer and Lisa taking their own journey by way of the float tanks at Karmaceuticals, Springfield USA and I even saw an episode of Ab Fab featuring Edwina and her own float tank. So I guess you could say it's something that’s always intrigued me. Six months ago I was lucky enough to receive a course of 3 floatation tank sessions at the Floatworks Floatation Tank Centre in London. http://www.floatworks.com My first session was truly breathtaking, leaving me completely blown away, chilled and uplifted. I not sure what I'd really expected but I couldn't believe it had taken me all these years to actually do it! Advantages: The Tank- it's AWESOME!!!!
Disadvantages: Not much in the way of a plot, but what do we care? We have TANKS *8)

...Brilliant stuff. It's a very quirky film, but not the sort of film for macho insecure louts. They'll detest it. Happy guys and mischievous girlies will love it though. Background: Tank Girl is a character from a strip in 'Deadline' comics. A tough bitch basically, toned down a lot for this film, but made more fun by Lori Petty and her voice. It's set in the future where the Earth has been hit by a meteor, and it hasn't rained for years. Thus whoever controls the water controls the power. In Australia, where this is set, that's the 'Department of Water and Power'. The comics were basically about Tank Girl and her friends bumming around and keeping themselves in beer. For the film version, a plot has been artificially grafted on - pretty badly. Summary: The film is enjoyable, but leaves a lot to be desired... Read review

Advantages: Good simple graphics, fairly good music, Classic type of game
Disadvantages: small amount of documentation, only one tank

...This is one amazing game (but you will get bored of it pretty quick), not because it's a fast paced shoot 'em up but because it's a classic style game very similar to worms - only, instead of worms you have tanks and you only have one not a team. If you've ever played worms then you'll love this, but if you haven't played worms give this a go. This is the sort of game you start playing, then get bored of, then a week or two later you'll load back up when your not feeling too good and end up playing it more. Advantages: Great for beginners
Disadvantages: Too small for experts

...This tank is perfect for anyone starting to keep tropical fish. I always think that it's best to start off small and then once tou get more experinced, move on to bigger and better tanks. It measures 24 inches across so will fit in any room. It's 15 inches tall and 30 iches wide. I started off using one of these and now I use it as a hospital tank when my fish get poorly. As it is made of acrillic, it is more sturdy than the glass ones and it's easy to clean too. But you have to make sure that you don't scratch it. I brought mine from my local garden centre. I paid £90.00 which included the lid. This is reasonable price for your first tank as some of the larger tanks can be very expensive at £400. The lid has spaces at the back for the leads for the electrical equipment such as the light, heater and filter to come out... Read review

...Pocket Tanks is one of those of frustratingly addictive little games along the lines of Yeti Sports; small, simple graphics and game play but totally unstoppable when you start to play it! Loading the game you would be forgiven for thinking you've loaded a small child's game; the graphics are very cartoony, all big and bright. But don't let that put you off. For those who have never played the original Tanks the premises is a simple one; shoot the other tank and score as many points as possible using various types of ammunition. ...Boots sterilising tank is made up of hard plastic and is for sterilising your baby’s bottles, teats, dummies, bottle lids, spoons and even dishes when they are on solid food.You can either purchase sterilising tablets or sterilising fluid. To use it you fill it with COLD water to the line that is on the side. There are 2 lines at 1 litre and 2 litres. You can decide which you would like to fill it up to depending on what you have to be sterilised. When you have put the water in to the required level then you put in either the tablets or fluid. The instructions for how much/many you need to use will be on the box or bottle. NEVER put more than stated in the water, as it will make your baby ill. When at the 2-litre level you can get about 5 or 6 bottles in to sterilise with their teats and lids always put the lid back... Read review

...I am now 17 years old, but I do still love watching the odd Thomas The Tank Engine story very ocassionly. I grew up watching it and I had, and still do have, most of the videos and story books. I was pleased to discover that the programmes and concept is still going strong. They are continuing to make new stories and introduce more characters, both of which have some positive and negative costs. I will write everything that I know about Thomas The Tank Engine and try and gives those of you who haven't seen it before, a good idea of what it all involves. Thomas The Tank Engine (and Friends), is a childrens programme about the trains that operate on the island of Sodor. It follows them through their ups and downs and also their funny moods and strops that they get into. Each story tends to have a message at the end... Read review

...It took me ages to get round to finally watching this film, i had heard so much about it, and for some reason, never showed any interest. However, after having purchased it for £5.99 from play.com, i thought i would check out what all the hype was about... The cast are as follows; Tank Girl - Lori Petty Jet Girl - Naomi Watts Kesslee - Malcolm McDowell T-Saint - Ice-T The story is set in the year 2033 - and a huge meteor has hit earth, and since this occured - the world has never been the same again....things we usually take for granted are gone - theres even no water!!! bit silly cos we need it to live, but nevermind...However, Kesslee, the villian in the story who is the leader of the water and power holds the world in his grasp, since he has control of everything! ... THOMAS TANK AQUADRAW One of the Boy's forgotten favorites but I'm sure it'll be dragged out again soon once the novelty wears off all the Christmas stuff. We bought this quite some time ago for the reasonable sum of £25. Is readily available from various stores but I would recommend a search online to see if you can't find a cheaper deal than the RRP of £35. In the Thomas adorned box you will find your big aqua-draw mat with a nice blue border featuring Thomas pictures- which measures up at a fairly large size: 105x90cm. You also find a pen, Track-Roller and of course our faithful friend Thomas the Tank Engine (who needs 2x AA batteries which are NOT included) Fill up the pen and Roller and let the fun begin, once Thomas has been switched on that is.
