...I have been using clarins radiance plus self tanning moisturising gel for a while now, this is because its the only self tan i have ever used that is good for sensitive skin. I wouldnt say it was very moisturising. I tend to still use my usual moisturiser on top of this product, as my skin goes quite dry if i use clarins radiance plus on its own. It does give a nice colour,as long as your skin is well moisturised and exfoliated before hand, otherwise it can make your skin look quite patchy and uneven. I have tried other moisturising self tan creams, and they are either no good for sensitive skin, makes your skin look too dark, or appear to give no colour at all, clarins radiance plus is the best where these are concerned as long as again its applied again, correctly, and you dont need much. ...I am a big fan of Elemis products and was very keen to try their self tanning cream. The cream comes in attractive packaging and has a pleasent smell when applying. I did however find it quite difficult compared to other self tanning products to apply because it does not have a colour guide. I therefore spent longer applying just in case I missed a bit. When application was complete I thought my skin felt really smooth and moisturised. I always put my false tan on just before I go to bed so it has plenty of time to develop before showering in the morning. I couldn't wait to wake up and see the results, I was so excited-sad I know!! In the morning I rushed to the bathroom mirror to see the results, I couldn't believe it-NOTHING!! l searched everywhere for some sign that I had carefully applied false tan the night before... ...I am not a naturally tanned person, in fact if you read my op on Boots soltan tanning mouse you will discover I have a blue tint to my scottish skin. In my fight to look tanned on a night out and not being organised enough to remeber to apply tanning mouse the day before I bought rimmel sun shimmer. This is a wash off instant tan make up for face and body. Although I have not been daring enought to try it on my face. I never go out at night with it on my arms and legs. As with all these products you are best to exfoliate and moisturise first. Then put some on you hands. DOnt be scared by the VERY DARK brown cream that comes out, it will look light once rubbed in. Dont put too much on knees and elbows, as it will look orangey. Make sure you have some soap, or handwash handy to wash ASAP after applying or you will have nice brown... Read review

.... ***WHY XEN TAN?*** I saw Xen Tan advertise in more magazine lots of times before so I thought I'd have a look on their website (www.xen-tan.co.uk) and read a bit more about their products. After reading plenty of information on their website about stars using the brand and awards they have won, so I thought I'd give it a go. I decided to try the mist intense. I've always got on better with sprays then I have creams and mousse's! ***PUTTING IT TO THE TEST*** I exfoliated 1 week before-hand and applied moisturiser every day to prepare my body. I shook the bottle and sprayed at about 4 - 5 inches away from my body onto my arms. You could see the spray go on, which was helpful.
