...Quite often the simplest of gadgets can be the most effective and that is very true, in my view, of the wonderful little Tap Adapta from Lakeland Limited. I first bought a Tap Adapta many years ago and had to remove it last year when I had a new sink unit fitted in my kitchen. I know some of you will disagree with this statement but I believe that the price we pay on our annual water rates is largely a service charge for transporting the water from the reservoirs to the taps in our houses. Tap and Spile, Birmingham a great pub!

...The Tap And Spile public house, is on Gas Street, Birmingham. In fact, the pub can be entered on two levsl, from Gas Street (which is just off Broad Street) and on a lower level, from the canalside tow path. Although both sections of the pub are attractive (in a rather nice traditional pub sort of a way) I tend to prefer the lower level. There is a wide range of beers available, and about £2.00 a pint or so, the London Pride (which is kept very, very well indeed) is my drink of choice at The Tap and Spile. There is also a good selection of other high quality ales available including Adnams Broadside and Old Speckled Hen, along with several others. Cider (real cider) has also been known to be sold there, too! There is also a wide range of country wines, including Parsnip wine and Mead, and these are all well worth a taste...

...I would agree that when things go wrong, the staff at TAP have no clue how to solve them. In my case it started with a mistake - mine - I booked myself on a flight twice instead of my husband and myself. To change this I first emailed the given address on the confirmation. This email was returned with the message that the inbox was full. I then was obliged to call (on my mobile) a premium rate number. I was anticipating having to pay an administration charge. Two flights originally (from Schipol to Lisbon return) cost just under 500 Euro. On top of this they told me (after putting me on hold for 15 minutes) that they would charge me 105 euro to change. TAP - I'd rather trust the one in my bathroom

...Unfortunately my experience with TAP are not very favourable. Taking a flight from Heathrow to Rio de Janeiro, we had a bad experience from before the check-in. Arriving at the standard 3 hours before the flight, we were astonished to have to wait an hour before the TAP check-in staff even started to get the desks ready for people to start checking in. By this point, there was already a crowd forming. It was certainly not a polite queue, but the start of a mob. When the TAP staff did start to put out the ropes, they were very rude, and never once tried to obtain any order, and just let people push their way forwards, infront of those of us who had been waiting now for over 90 minutes.
