Targus Ultra Mini 4-Port USB Hub
Review of Targus Ultra Mini Hub - hub - 4 ports by
matt_fantastic
Advantages: Funky glowing lights
Disadvantages: Cheaper "clones" are available
...I bought the Targus Ultra Mini 4-Port USB Hub as I have more USB items than USB sockets on my laptop docking station.
Its compact dimensions (width 9.5 cm, depth 4 cm, height 1.5 cm, weight 40 g)and included USB connection cable allow it to fit anywhere on the desk, and its four USB 2.0 ports (480Mbps data transfer) allow rapid connection to all sorts of peripherals. It's also backward compatible with older USB 1.1 devices, and Apple devices I believe, too.
Installation (with Windows XP SP2) is a doddle, with no drivers aor anything to install, just plug it in, wait a few seconds while Windows does its stuff, and we're off. Connecting USB peripherals previously connected directly prompts Windows to repeat its "Found New Hardware" business, but this takes just a few seconds.
When peripherals are connected, the plastic around...

Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse
Review of Targus Optical Super Mini Retractable Mouse mouse by
matt_fantastic
Advantages: Super small & compact
Disadvantages: Cheaper "clones" are available
...I bought this Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse as I was sick of fiddling about with my laptop's trackpad and/or "nipple" mouse button when trying to demo software at work, and wanted to avoid a) unplugging my mouse from the docking station, and b) filling up my bag any more than necessary...
It's really small (5.0 x 1.6 x 8.3 inches, weight: 3.2 ounces) so takes up almost no space in my bag, and although it's great on a full size table/desk, it's just as easy to use in a small work space or even on a small airplane tray.
The Mini Optical Mouse is "only" USB 1.1, but that allows "plug and play" connection with USB sockets on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP and Macintosh OS, I believe. Just plug it in, wait a moment while Windows does its "Found New Hardware" stuff, and you're off ! No drivers to install or anything...

Targus, What CAN I say.
Review of Targus 75W AC Mains Power Supply - power adapter - 75 Watt by
GerlofL
Advantages: It comes with more cables.
Disadvantages: The part that you can not take out of the charger is the weak part.
...Bought it, was happy with the idea that I could use it in England on any laptop, because I am moving from The Netherlands to England. However, I had it, and the iron pin at the end of the wire you put in your laptop broke, leaving the iron piece in my pc. Thank God I do not give a damn about my teeth, I ripped it out of my laptop, and there I was, a iron pin in my mouth, my laptop wanting power and my Targus Adapter shining at me like it did nothing wrong. The store owner did not give a damn, and said it was my fault. There I was, no guarantee, no power for my laptop, and no response from Targus.
If you never ever move your notebook, maybe this product is advicable, else I would go for something else, it is worth looking for, trust me.
I got blamed, and when I wanted to deny it they already walked away, without the intention...

Targus Chargable Wireless Laser mouse
Review of Targus Laser Wireless Desktop Mouse - mouse by
tartupets
Advantages: Laser precision, max grip and rechargiability
Disadvantages: Batterylife, no on-off switch, syncing to the receiver
...So, i bought the Targus AWM14EU mouse about 2 weeks ago.
My experience has been good, though the "user interface" is a bit off. The sensitivity is good and I like big mice due to the grip. Also, the main buttons work fine and accurate. But, the scrollwheel is a bit loose and so are the browsing buttons under near your thumb.
On the user manual, it states that you should charge the batteries for at least 8 hour for best performance. Do so, because, I charged it for 6 hours and ended up with 2 weeks of battery life. Also, it should have an on-off switch for transportation. And it looses contact to the computer, when you acciadently smash it. But smash it again and it will work , and it lags when you move it. Use at your own desire...

Mercedes Benz CL 600 review
Review of Mercedes CL 600 by
Orichalon123
Advantages: Luxurious, quiet, powerful, refined, beautiful
Disadvantages: More expensive than an S class
...The Merc CL class is basically a coupe version of the S class. It costs a similar amount (despite being smaller and having 2 less doors) and features a similar amount of gadgets and luxuries.
The car I will be reviewing is a brand new CL 600 with most options ticked, and cost just over £113,000 when it was bought new a few months ago. It's finished in 'flint grey metallic', and looks very imposing.
For a start, lets get down to the engine. It's a 5.5l (despite the 600 name) naturally aspirated V12 producing some 517 hp, which is plenty for most people. This isn't like one of the AMG units though, and when you put your foot down instead of hearing an ear-bursting snarl, all you get is a slight growl as the V12 really gets to work. The car gathers speed insistently, and, though I haven't been up to its electronically limited 155 mph...

VW Golf 1.6cl a head and heart purchase!
Review of VW Golf III CL by
catwill74
Advantages: Easy to live with, reliable and nice to drive
Disadvantages: Engine can be noisy when pushed
...The Golf I bought was an M reg, silver and rust, 1.6cl for £400 with 90000 on the clock.
I kept the car for a year and it never let me down once.
The only real problem was rust on the rear tailgate (more on that later)
It came with 12 mths mot and has ended up being one of my best ebay purchases!!
There isn't much to say as the car was so reliable and easy to live with. The 1.6 engine is surprising lively and the handling was firm and responsive and not at all wallowy. I personally quite like the way it looks but some would call it frumpy!
The only critisism is that it can be noisy when pushed.
Anyway, sold it to my sister-in-law who still has it 2 years later. Never let her down either except for a faulty imobiliser (disabled) and a 2nd hand tailgate as the rust ruined the lock and the number plate lights making...

Sporty and Smart at the same time
Review of Targus Sport Deluxe Notebook Backpac by
pompey_jon
Advantages: Looks good, protects my laptop, Comfortable
Disadvantages: Internal capacity could be greater
...************************Intro*****************************
After trudging through too many airports with my trusty but cumbersome Dell laptop case I decided I wanted an easier life. All those people running past me with their laptop backpacks which were easier to carry made me a little jealous, so I decided to do something about it.
I took a look at the range of laptop backpacks available in the market and believe me there is a lot of choice. After excluding all of the ones that were designed by three -year olds I decided on a couple of bags from Targus which would suit my Dell 15.4" laptop. Targus say it will support laptops with screens up to 16" and I tend to agree with this
I do not testify to know the full history of Targus but I do know they have been in the laptop case business for a fair while, and I have even used...

My new bag
Review of Targus Trademark 17 Clamshell Notebook Case by
danielalong
Advantages: Good quality laptop bag
Disadvantages: None yet
...Targus Clamshell XL notebook case
With the purchase of my new and improved laptop, I needed a new bag so I could carry it around with me. A quick scour around some of the major retailers convinced me that they were all, bar a few, priced around the same price.
I knew that I wanted a bag which was smart enough to carry to work and to meetings related to work, but which was equally able to withstand some knocking about. I also knew that I didn't want to feel that I had to treat the bag like a precious piece of equipment, and hence, this is the one I bought.
THE BAG
The bag itself is black (good serviceable colour) and has the Targus logo on the front of the pocket; very discreet, and not something which makes it look tacky.
The bag itself is nicely padded, and so offers the laptop some protection without being overly...

turns your PDA into a laptop
Review of Targus Wireless IR Keyboard keyboard by
johnsearner
Advantages: lightweight and easy to use and transport in a pocket
Disadvantages: not the easiest IR setup in the world
...I got this to go with my acer n30 PDA (have a look at my review if your thinking of getting a new PDA, I would recommend an acer n30 to anyone) and was actually a little dissapointed. There's no mention of the fact that the IR (infrared) input on some devices just won't match up with the targus. It has a swiveling stick with the IR projector on one end but it has limited range in movement and won't actually turn to point at my PDA's IR port. I had to prop it up with book and things just to get it in the right possition. After I did though it worked perfectly and the keypad is easier on the fingers than a standard PC keyboard. I actually chose using my PDA and the targus to write essays instead of using the university PCs, so that'll give you an idea of how comfortable it is to use.
There's not much that I can put in the way...
