Targus Chargable Wireless Laser mouse
Review of Targus Laser Wireless Desktop Mouse - mouse by
tartupets
Advantages: Laser precision, max grip and rechargiability
Disadvantages: Batterylife, no on-off switch, syncing to the receiver
...So, i bought the Targus AWM14EU mouse about 2 weeks ago.
My experience has been good, though the "user interface" is a bit off. The sensitivity is good and I like big mice due to the grip. Also, the main buttons work fine and accurate. But, the scrollwheel is a bit loose and so are the browsing buttons under near your thumb.
On the user manual, it states that you should charge the batteries for at least 8 hour for best performance. Do so, because, I charged it for 6 hours and ended up with 2 weeks of battery life. Also, it should have an on-off switch for transportation. And it looses contact to the computer, when you acciadently smash it. But smash it again and it will work , and it lags when you move it. Use at your own desire...

Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse
Review of Targus Optical Super Mini Retractable Mouse mouse by
matt_fantastic
Advantages: Super small & compact
Disadvantages: Cheaper "clones" are available
...I bought this Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse as I was sick of fiddling about with my laptop's trackpad and/or "nipple" mouse button when trying to demo software at work, and wanted to avoid a) unplugging my mouse from the docking station, and b) filling up my bag any more than necessary...
It's really small (5.0 x 1.6 x 8.3 inches, weight: 3.2 ounces) so takes up almost no space in my bag, and although it's great on a full size table/desk, it's just as easy to use in a small work space or even on a small airplane tray.
The Mini Optical Mouse is "only" USB 1.1, but that allows "plug and play" connection with USB sockets on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP and Macintosh OS, I believe. Just plug it in, wait a moment while Windows does its "Found New Hardware" stuff, and you're off ! No drivers to install or anything...

Top-notch laser mouse is basically perfect
Review of Logitech MX 610 Laser Cordless Mouse - mouse by
Aquillyne
Advantages: Cordless, laser, buttons, stylish
Disadvantages: Buttons not 100% customisable, 3rd mouse-button tricky to press
...- in just the right way.
The scroll-wheel is a good one. It is not clunky, which many other mice fail on, but rolls smoothly whilst still having clear 'notches' between each movement. The wheel is completely smooth but slightly rubbery so your finger can roll it easily. It can also be tilted left and right to scroll left and right as well as the normal up and down. Lastly it can be pushed in directly to act as a "third" mouse-button. On this point I have found that it is very easy to accidentally scroll left or right when you mean to click the third button, and it takes a bit of practice to get used to the right way to push it.
The mouse uses a laser to track movements, which is a feature frequently underestimated. This is two stages up from a roller-ball mouse. Such mice will only work on good mouse-mats. Next up is the optical mouse which...

Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse VS Microsoft
Review of Logitech Mx 1000 Laser Cordless Mouse by
fightgear
Advantages: comfortable, lots of customisable controls, long battery life, good response
Disadvantages: none really
...Now as somewhat of a power user, this mouse has had quite a hard life. My business is internet based and, what with car forums, research and staying in contact with my clubs and students, it probably gets about twelve or more hours use per day. It's be interesting to see a milometer attached to these things to work out how far they travel in their lifetimes. Maybe a good idea would be instead of airmiles get mouse miles!
Okay on to the meat and potatoes of the review. I'm coming at this review slightly differently from the other excellent reviews this character has. I recently replaced this rodent with a laser keyboard and matching mouse from Microsoft (Laser Desktop 6000). So this will be a normal review PLUS a comparrison of it against the Microsoft version. I did this because both products are similarly priced (just under £40...

Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse (King of Gaming)
Review of Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse mouse by
JamesRoberts007
Advantages: 2000DPI, Sleek & Customizable
Disadvantages: Not avaliable in UK shops, not for lefties.
...Today I am reviewing the “Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse” as I was shocked to see no one had reviewed this mouse yet so it’s my turn.
Hello and welcome,
Well, this really is a recipe for greatness.
1: Take a well known brand for gaming, maybe the best (razer)
2: Add the one of the greatest known computing brands (Microsoft)
3: Finally, add an extra bit of sleek and sexiness and whala...poof!
You have Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse
Ok, so I’ll talk a bit about the statistics of this mouse. First of all, unlike other previous mice, you lefties won’t be able to use this it’s been built for Right-handers...sorry.
Secondly, this mouse is wired via USB. Yes, I know what you’re are thinking, wires are like sooo 1990 but, it’s been proven it sends data a lot quicker via wires which gives you that little bit...

Targus Wireless Optical 5 Button Mouse
Review of Targus Wireless Optical 5 Button Mouse mouse by
Tortenmann
Advantages: very good charge time, good software, easy to install
Disadvantages: only one.........wish it had a metal shell
...Unlike other optical wireless Mice that require batteries, this mouse does not, it charges whilst you are not using it. It ahs its own cradle, so it charges via the computers’ USB slot, saving you money on batteries.
I brought this mouse after looking for an optical mouse that actually works, and properly. It was around £29.99; I brought it from Amazon in the end as it was easier to buy from there. Looking at other optical mice made me think, have I made the right decision?
Well, fortunately, I had. I just plugged the mouse straight inot the computers’ USB slot and I worked. There was an extra cd for drivers, needed by older operating systems and hardware; this cd contained also some software for the extra buttons, like the scroller.
The nice looking cradle site by the side of my computer, waiting for me insert the mouse to lay...

Belkin Laser 5 button Glow mouse
Review of Belkin Laser Glow Mouse mouse by
Astec123
Advantages: Comfortable, Clean design, Colour changing
Disadvantages: Odd feeling 4th and 5th buttons, no colour change configuration
...Light comfortable and most of all easy to use. I have been expanding my gaming levels and components over the last few months with the addtition of a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard, a microsoft sidewinder commander and now as my ageing mouse from Game (the shop) started to fail thought it was time to trick out my desktop and go laser with the mouse.
As with my current theme of my desktop I had to choose a mouse to match what I had already this meant it had to have a black and sliver showing. This was paramount. The belkin mouse is very nicely styled and fits in with my desktop with ease.
The other requirement was that as my desktop was running a nice blue theme of lighting up that the mouse had to be a blue glow if it had a light. This mouse while it is predominantly blue it has a selection of colours it changes to and is quite...

A MOUSE THAT DOESN'T EAT CHEESE.
Review of Targus Wireless Optical 5 Button Mouse mouse by
thingywhatsit
Advantages: Totally responsive.
Disadvantages: Shape takes a bit of getting used to.
...I am rather chuffed. Having been unsuccessful with cordless mice in the past with installation problems and short battery life, I was rather sceptical when I was given this mouse as a present. I honesly thought that cordless meant trouble.
I was wrong.
This mouse comes very cleverly packaged and included with it is the CD for the installation, a USB connection with an extension so that the owner gets the choice of either using one of their precious USB slots, or by using the extention, the traditional mouse slot. The handbook with instructions in 4 languages, battery and a very neat gadget that surprised me, like a docking cradle/receiver that recharges the mouse, power lead.and of course the five button mouse itself. Power adaptor.
BEFORE USE
Before I could use this mouse, I had to install the AAA NI-MH battery supplied...

Great Value Laser Mouse
Review of Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 - mouse by
nunbean
Advantages: Smooth, Great Looks, Batteries Last Ages, Magnifier
Disadvantages: Side Buttons Can Be Pressed Accidentally
...I was looking for a laser mouse to play games with mostly as they are smoother than optical mouses and came across this one and couldn't believe the price for a Microsoft product. There are many gaming laser mouses that are more expensive but I found this one perfect for a gamer on a budget.
When I received the product I couldn't believe all the different features it had. The first thing I recognized though from using it was the smoothness. It was so much easier to use than an optical mouse. The software supplied is also very easy to install and helps you to set up all the different functions. The scroller also works really well and can go in four different directions. You may think this is pointless but when you have its amazing all the different things you use it for. One thing I found it was good with was Excel documents when you...

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse
Review of Logitech G5 Laser Mouse mouse by
Gumbeh
Advantages: Customisable DPI, Interchangeable weights, Smooth to use
Disadvantages: Right hand specific
...I bought this mouse about 2 years ago to replace my age-old wireless MicroSoft mouse, which was finally biting the dust after a lengthy life in service.
I chose this mouse over the (at the time) over the Logitech MX 518 because of the added benefits of having a high DPI laser mouse for gaming. The weight of the mouse is customisable by means of inserting small (4.5g and 1.7g) weights into a neat little cartridge that lives underneath the mouse. This was one of the best things with this mouse as it allowed me to keep the same weight and feel of my old wireless one - very handy not having to get used to another mouse again!
The software that comes on CD is easy to install and use. It allows you to set 5 different DPI settings (changeable from the mouse) as opposed to the 3 default ones if you don't install the software...
