Targus Ultra Mini 4-Port USB Hub
Review of Targus Ultra Mini Hub - hub - 4 ports by
matt_fantastic
Advantages: Funky glowing lights
Disadvantages: Cheaper "clones" are available
...I bought the Targus Ultra Mini 4-Port USB Hub as I have more USB items than USB sockets on my laptop docking station.
Its compact dimensions (width 9.5 cm, depth 4 cm, height 1.5 cm, weight 40 g)and included USB connection cable allow it to fit anywhere on the desk, and its four USB 2.0 ports (480Mbps data transfer) allow rapid connection to all sorts of peripherals. It's also backward compatible with older USB 1.1 devices, and Apple devices I believe, too.
Installation (with Windows XP SP2) is a doddle, with no drivers aor anything to install, just plug it in, wait a few seconds while Windows does its stuff, and we're off. Connecting USB peripherals previously connected directly prompts Windows to repeat its "Found New Hardware" business, but this takes just a few seconds.
When peripherals are connected, the plastic around...

Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse
Review of Targus Optical Super Mini Retractable Mouse mouse by
matt_fantastic
Advantages: Super small & compact
Disadvantages: Cheaper "clones" are available
...I bought this Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse as I was sick of fiddling about with my laptop's trackpad and/or "nipple" mouse button when trying to demo software at work, and wanted to avoid a) unplugging my mouse from the docking station, and b) filling up my bag any more than necessary...
It's really small (5.0 x 1.6 x 8.3 inches, weight: 3.2 ounces) so takes up almost no space in my bag, and although it's great on a full size table/desk, it's just as easy to use in a small work space or even on a small airplane tray.
The Mini Optical Mouse is "only" USB 1.1, but that allows "plug and play" connection with USB sockets on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP and Macintosh OS, I believe. Just plug it in, wait a moment while Windows does its "Found New Hardware" stuff, and you're off ! No drivers to install or anything...

Targus, What CAN I say.
Review of Targus 75W AC Mains Power Supply - power adapter - 75 Watt by
GerlofL
Advantages: It comes with more cables.
Disadvantages: The part that you can not take out of the charger is the weak part.
...Bought it, was happy with the idea that I could use it in England on any laptop, because I am moving from The Netherlands to England. However, I had it, and the iron pin at the end of the wire you put in your laptop broke, leaving the iron piece in my pc. Thank God I do not give a damn about my teeth, I ripped it out of my laptop, and there I was, a iron pin in my mouth, my laptop wanting power and my Targus Adapter shining at me like it did nothing wrong. The store owner did not give a damn, and said it was my fault. There I was, no guarantee, no power for my laptop, and no response from Targus.
If you never ever move your notebook, maybe this product is advicable, else I would go for something else, it is worth looking for, trust me.
I got blamed, and when I wanted to deny it they already walked away, without the intention...

Targus Chargable Wireless Laser mouse
Review of Targus Laser Wireless Desktop Mouse - mouse by
tartupets
Advantages: Laser precision, max grip and rechargiability
Disadvantages: Batterylife, no on-off switch, syncing to the receiver
...So, i bought the Targus AWM14EU mouse about 2 weeks ago.
My experience has been good, though the "user interface" is a bit off. The sensitivity is good and I like big mice due to the grip. Also, the main buttons work fine and accurate. But, the scrollwheel is a bit loose and so are the browsing buttons under near your thumb.
On the user manual, it states that you should charge the batteries for at least 8 hour for best performance. Do so, because, I charged it for 6 hours and ended up with 2 weeks of battery life. Also, it should have an on-off switch for transportation. And it looses contact to the computer, when you acciadently smash it. But smash it again and it will work , and it lags when you move it. Use at your own desire...

Kitchen tips and Cleaning around the home
Review of Kitchen Cleaning Hints & Tips by
Tanisha
Advantages: It's cheaper to clean for a Quid
Disadvantages: none
...This review is about general cleaning around the home and is great if you are on a budget or you are at Uni. I have picked up many tips over the years from various people or have just done things "my way". I have tried to add a little bit of humour along the way and as a special Tanisha bonus, I have also provided some HOT TIPS. Hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing.
KITCHEN TIPS: around the kitchen for a quid.
I never tend to buy those well-named cleaning products at the supermarket because I think they're abit like champagne (and anyone that knows me will tell you that I like my wine and champs) not over-rated, but over-priced. You pay more for the plastic bottle than you do for the liquid inside. Stop wasting your hard earned dosh and stop buying those Flashy cleaning squirty things (put the money towards...

Pee-Pee Tips
Review of PG Tips by
Mattroberts
Advantages: The best tea around, probably
Disadvantages: After taste!
...Being a big fan of coffee – decaffeinated one’s – I’m not a big tea drinker. I tend to have the odd cup on a Saturday afternoon, and when I’m in my Nan’s, but I very rarely have any at all.
But, if I do have any at all, I will certainly go for PG tips, because I like the advert, and I can’t find any other!
That’s probably how you’ll know what PG Tips tea is, because of the advert that has been showing for over 50 years on television. You could say the Chimps are more popular than the Tips!
**The Taste?**
I think most people KNOW what tea tastes like, unless they have some sort of an allergy to it. But, don’t be mistaken, not all brands of tea taste the same. They each have an individual taste, which makes you like it, or hate it.
PG Tips is one of the very first...

To tip or not to tip? This is the answer.
Review of Tip Me Not Buggy Weights by
candylamour
Advantages: No more embarrassing buggy topples. Reflective safety feature.
Disadvantages: They make your buggy heavier?
...and some changing bags are made and marketed for doing exactly this. When your purpose-built carry basket is full of changes of clothes, the rain cover, umbrella and a handbag, the handles become the next obvious choice for carrying that impulse buy from the Next sale.
Have no fear mum!! The answer is here in the shape of 'TIP ME NOT' Buggy Weights.
These ingenious yet simple devices use the laws of physics and the principles of levers to provide you with a stable buggy / pushchair.
The 'Tip Me Not' buggy weights come in pairs. They are made of a tough lycra-like material which is filled with what appears to be a very fine safety-shot(like the stuff used by anglers). So what you have in essence is a bendy lycra sausage filled with weight. The 'Tip Me Not' buggy weights are attached to the buggy / pushchair just above the front...

I'm Getting My Tips Out
Review of PG Tips by
CherryBlossom
Advantages: Reasonably priced, brew quickly
Disadvantages: Are there any?
...Slurp! Hold on, just spilt my tea down my best jumper. Bugger it. Where are those tissues? Hmm, don’t have any tissues. Better nip out to the kitchen and get a cloth then. There… that’s better. Now, where were we?
Nowhere? Ah, right… I hadn’t got started. Well I was going to talk about PG Tips before the spillage occurred, so I suppose I might as well carry on.
Evidently, 165 million cups of tea are consumed every day in the UK. I don’t know how the Brooke Bond people know this, but that’s what they’re saying. I probably drink 1 of those. In other words, I’m not a huge tea drinker. In fact, unless somebody else makes it, I usually forget all about it. I am fussy though, and know exactly how I like my tea. One teabag quickly introduced to boiling water, milk and one sugar...

PG Tips Gets The Vote of Confidence
Review of PG Tips by
ashford
Advantages: Robust. Strong. Excellent Flavour. Easily Found
Disadvantages: Not many unless you dont like tea
...PG Tips-just ask the lovable monkeys-must rank among Britain's favourite teas. They have been a leading name in tea in the UK market-and elsewhere-for years and years. PG tips are owned by the huge Anglo-Dutch conglomerate,Unilever, and their pyramid tea bags really sell well. The product is very intensively advertised both in the print media and on TV and I guess the PG Tips logo must be a familiar sight to most Britons.
With PG Tips teabags you are assured of fine flavour and a cuppa which is both consistent and utterly reliable. The company claims that the PG Tips quality comes from selecting only the freshest tips-hence the name-of the tea bush and the careful blending of up to 28 teas from around the world.
Well I find PG Tips pyramid tea bags brew very quickly. I also reckon this is a tea full of flavour...

Tip top tea
Review of PG Tips by
MissTopaz
Advantages: Taste, quality
Disadvantages: none
...I LOVE TEA!!! Yes I do, and as I type this, sitting at my desk in my pyjamas I have a cup of tea with me, it’s the first thing I do after I wake up every morning!!! And to prove it, I’ve added a photo of me, with my favourite mug of tea!! (apologies I look mank, I haven’t been awake long!!!!).
So, the particular tea product that is in my lovely pink mug (Tesco, 57p, got to love it!!!), is PG Tips, one of the most favourite brands of tea in this country. It’s very well known partly through the clever advertising, that includes the monkeys!!! I remember them from my childhood…
So, yes, PG Tips, also famous because of the innovative pyramid bag. The purpose of the pyramid bag is to allow the loose tea leaves to move around freely, and to create a fuller and much more enjoyable flavour, and therefore heighten your tea drinking...
