Hella sexy CD wallet!
Review of Fellowes Body Glove Scuba Wallet For CD/DVD discs by
adehh
Advantages: Stylish, high quality
Disadvantages: Price, maybe the size
...Right so what can I say about a CD wallet? Well having owned only 2 CD wallets prior to this one, both costing under £5 I thought I'd go crazy and buy an expensive CD wallet for once. I was sick of my other CD wallets and the tacky CD sleeves that came with them, they were always ripping and you had to pop out the slits for the CDs yourself.
Enter the Body Glove Scuba! I remember first looking for a new CD wallet in the Argos catalogue and found an older Body Glove CD wallet with the yellow stripe on it, I think it had a different name 'Swish' or something. After taking my searching to the Internet I found the Scuba and immediately thought to myself 'I want that.' - Just off the looks of the CD wallet alone.
As you know this version of the Scuba holds 64 CDs or 32 CDs and 32 manuals, but I bought it for holding 64 CDs...

USE YOUR LOGIC WITH THE CASE LOGIC
Review of Case Logic KSR 24 Wallet For CD/DVD discs by
penguin1052
Advantages: Store's CD's with Ease
Disadvantages: non really
...EASE OF USE
Great, very easy to use. Just undo the zip and you’re into the wallet. Don’t worry about having to remove the CD’s to find the correct one as the wallets inside are made from a clear plastic. This means you can find the CD you want within seconds.
QUALITY AND DURABILITY
No complaints here, the product does exactly what you would expect and puts up with being chucked round like anything too. Unlike some cases I’ve seen the wallets in this one are a strong plastic not half plastic half paper. This basically means that they won’t start to rip as soon as you try to get your discs in and out. The outer of the case is of a hard rubberized/leather style material which can take a pretty good beating.
VALUE FOR MONEY
Seen them for around £5 to £10 making them great value as they give great protection to your CD...

96 cd's - enough for a few weeks!
Review of Case Logic CDW 96 Wallet For CD/DVD discs by
christophe81
Advantages: Sturdy and strong
Disadvantages: None
...I bought this case about a year ago, to add to my vast array of cd cases, I really should get a mega huge one, but prefer to segregate my music into a number of differnent case.
This case is nicely made study nylon based cover, with stiff edges to stop the cd's being damaged.
It can holf up to 96 cd's which is more that enough for a lot of people. The wallet itself is a pretty good size, measuring 12.5" x 11.5" x 2.5" and is filled with ProSleeve® pages and Fast-File™ pockets which allow immediate access to any of your cd's, it is really easy to get cd's in and out - which can be a pain in some wallets. It weighs approximately 1 lb , 8 oz and should have a 25 year guarantee! I think I paid about £20 roughly, I think it was on offer at the time, I'm sure the price has changed a year on though. I bought it from PC World, but I...

The Future of CD and DVD Burning
Review of Easy CD & DVD Creator Digital Media Suite Platinum 6 Complete package by
stuleg
Advantages: Great look, Ideal for novices,Can Burn data on several discs
Disadvantages: £50 price tag a little high
...Virtually every Computer owner who has a CDR or CDRW included on their system will know about Easy CD Creator in its various incarnations, and this new version will not disappoint.
Installing is straight forward, the program is large at over 400 MB but in these days of massive hard discs that should not be a problem. More of an issue is the 300+ page manual that comes with the software; you would have to be a real masochist to read it cover to cover.
Once Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 Platinum is installed the first thing you will notice is the look. The graphics are rounded and colourful, (similar to Windows XP); also there is a little box in the left hand bottom corner of the desktop which is the “Drag to disc” part of the program. I found this particular item hugely useful for basic data and picture backup. All I have to do...

Procare CD/DVD repair kit
Review of Procare CD/DVD Repair by
lostsworld
Advantages: Cheaper than leading brands and works better, cheaper replacement parts
Disadvantages: don't work well on 8cm cd's
...Having reviewed the No 1 in the world cd repair tool and found out it was a flop and waste of money, I have tried a few other techniques. This review is on the Procare CD/DVD repair kit found at Maplin and possibly other stores.
~ The kit ~
You get the cd repair too itself which is motorised, you get the adapter, cd sanding discs, cd buffing discs and cleaning fluid. It comes in a nice flat box that is easy to store after use.
~ How it works ~
This is slightly different to the worlds No1 cd repair tool in that it appears to look like a cd walkman, you put the sanding discs in first and then put the scratched cd in with label facing up. Close the lid, plug power in and the press the on button.
The tool will start sanding the disc to remove the scratch and will be done in three minutes, once finished take a look...

Avery full face CD/DVD Labels
Review of Avery Full Face CD/DVD Label - labels - 25 pcs. by
Nicelissa
Advantages: Reasonable Price, Easy to Apply, Add your own personal touch!
Disadvantages: None
...and they also come in gold, although I do prefer to silver ones! It is important that, when printing, you ensure you print on the glossy side for the best results! There are two labels per sheet and 16 altogether in a pack.
The diameter of the labels is 117mm, which increases the print area even more. The print design covers the whole of the CD/DVD face, which helps to give a more professional look and perfect representation of colour designs.
The labels are easy to use when centring onto the disc, as each pack contains an applicator.
**********
Software
I have the Microsoft Office Package, in which I use Microsoft Publisher to design the CD/DVD labels. It is fairly easy to format using this software and there are lots of designs you can choose from.

Conclusion
Personally, I would recommend these to anyone wanting...

Targus Ultra Mini 4-Port USB Hub
Review of Targus Ultra Mini Hub - hub - 4 ports by
matt_fantastic
Advantages: Funky glowing lights
Disadvantages: Cheaper "clones" are available
...I bought the Targus Ultra Mini 4-Port USB Hub as I have more USB items than USB sockets on my laptop docking station.
Its compact dimensions (width 9.5 cm, depth 4 cm, height 1.5 cm, weight 40 g)and included USB connection cable allow it to fit anywhere on the desk, and its four USB 2.0 ports (480Mbps data transfer) allow rapid connection to all sorts of peripherals. It's also backward compatible with older USB 1.1 devices, and Apple devices I believe, too.
Installation (with Windows XP SP2) is a doddle, with no drivers aor anything to install, just plug it in, wait a few seconds while Windows does its stuff, and we're off. Connecting USB peripherals previously connected directly prompts Windows to repeat its "Found New Hardware" business, but this takes just a few seconds.
When peripherals are connected, the plastic around...

Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse
Review of Targus Optical Super Mini Retractable Mouse mouse by
matt_fantastic
Advantages: Super small & compact
Disadvantages: Cheaper "clones" are available
...I bought this Targus Mini Optical Retractable Mouse Mouse as I was sick of fiddling about with my laptop's trackpad and/or "nipple" mouse button when trying to demo software at work, and wanted to avoid a) unplugging my mouse from the docking station, and b) filling up my bag any more than necessary...
It's really small (5.0 x 1.6 x 8.3 inches, weight: 3.2 ounces) so takes up almost no space in my bag, and although it's great on a full size table/desk, it's just as easy to use in a small work space or even on a small airplane tray.
The Mini Optical Mouse is "only" USB 1.1, but that allows "plug and play" connection with USB sockets on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP and Macintosh OS, I believe. Just plug it in, wait a moment while Windows does its "Found New Hardware" stuff, and you're off ! No drivers to install or anything...

Targus, What CAN I say.
Review of Targus 75W AC Mains Power Supply - power adapter - 75 Watt by
GerlofL
Advantages: It comes with more cables.
Disadvantages: The part that you can not take out of the charger is the weak part.
...Bought it, was happy with the idea that I could use it in England on any laptop, because I am moving from The Netherlands to England. However, I had it, and the iron pin at the end of the wire you put in your laptop broke, leaving the iron piece in my pc. Thank God I do not give a damn about my teeth, I ripped it out of my laptop, and there I was, a iron pin in my mouth, my laptop wanting power and my Targus Adapter shining at me like it did nothing wrong. The store owner did not give a damn, and said it was my fault. There I was, no guarantee, no power for my laptop, and no response from Targus.
If you never ever move your notebook, maybe this product is advicable, else I would go for something else, it is worth looking for, trust me.
I got blamed, and when I wanted to deny it they already walked away, without the intention...

CD and DVD showdown!
Review of Everything that starts with C ... by
china_wolf
Advantages: CD and DVD duke it out to see who's better
Disadvantages: I'm wasting 6 very good discs here...
...I've had enough. You know when you made that backup onto a disc and you put it away? Next day you put it into your computer and guess what? It doesn't work. And the stupid thing you did last night after backing up is delete the stuff from your PC. Fan-bloody-tastic right?
That's just the type of scenario that I get often with my discs, and boy does it annoy the hell out of me. You spend hours backing up gigs of data onto DVD or CD and then when you're feeling horny, that disc with the special 2 hour feature (featuring scantly clad beauties), just will not open. And all I did was bung it in the corner of that table for a night!
Most of the time it's our fault if our discs do not work. We copy it onto the media and then without thinking of the consequences we leave it out on the table with no protection. Few days later when you need...
