Teddy in a box is in fact 6 teddies in a box. Each teddy is a different puzzle made up of 3 pieces. There is a doctor teddy, a policeman teddy, and a farmer teddy amongst this group of puzzles. Each teddy is divided into 3 puzzle pieces. Teddy Head is one puzzle piece, teddies arms and body another, then teddies legs are another puzzle piece. Each corresponding puzzle pieces the same shape. The object of this puzzle is to complete a teddy with all the correct clothes. ...snout puffed out and I put in a new nose and eyes. I sewed his head back to his body and then I started on the back of his head. I still have to do more work on him on his belly and back and arms and legs. So this daft woman then says to me why do you not buy a new Teddy Bear kit...Ouch how could you say that, For the last couple of hours I have sat down and made him new Tracky bottoms in dark blue and light blue felt and it looks cool. He will be fighting fit in a day or two and god help the dog if he eats him again! He is a tatty bear, years have taken its toll on him but there is now way we are going to be seperated. ...The Best Soft Toys ever!! From when I was a little kid to the day I have a little kid these soft toys have always been my product of choice!! When I was small I always used to have this small little brown teddy and it cost practically nothing, I named it Eddie and had a special relation with it, later my granddad got me a £2000 teddy from Hemly’s which was huge and so overwhelming that its difficult to describe. Ive always shared special bonds with these unresponsive yet so powerful toys and wish I had some power to just get them to life. My kids now love teddy bears as much or maybe as much as I do and I’ve filled their rooms with bears, I would either recommend Toys-r-us or Hemly’s to purchase this product. ...Oooooh yes - I forgot about that Whilst looking through a copy of Hawkins Bazaar, i came across the stocking filler page. COOL I thought as there were lots of little gifts for under a fiver. PERFECT for stocking fillers :O) I noticed the Teddy in a Box / Mini Puzzle Bear (as they call it, still exactly the same) for £1.99 BARGAIN!! As my kids would be turning one and two just after that christmas, i thought that this would be quite suitable for them. Thinking that it was not much different from their wooden lift out puzzle trays that they already had already mastered and also something a bit more fun and exciting. ...I bought this for my youngest son when he was two years old because he liked puzzles but was too young to do a actual jigsaw. The teddy jigsaw comes in a small wooden box with a small lid that slides on the top of the box. On top of the lid there is a teddy bear shape where you can place each jigsaw piece. The jigsaw pieces are made out of wood so they dont break that easy when children chew on the pieces and if it is like my son then believe me they will chew on them. There are twelve jigsaw pieces in total which consist of four teddy bear heads,four bodies and four legs and the best part is it does not matter which head you put to which body as all the pieces are the same shape and size so it is really easy for the child to create the teddy. ...Many years ago, my mum took me and Mrs B, who was Miss P then, to Peterhead for the day. Aye, an exotic choice of location! As is the habit of my family, we ended up shopping. Luckily, one of the shops we went to was a sweetie shop. I’m sure the Celestial Toymaker was up to his tricks that day, because it was an olde type sweetie shop. Try as I might I’ve forgotten where it is now, I think The Time Lords wiped my memory of that day. But I do recall rows and rows of lovely sweeties in jars, many of which I’ve never heard of. LUCKY TATTIES Lucky Tatties was just one of them. My mum was overjoyed to see them as they brought back memories of her own childhood. They resembled modern day cookies and should have had a lucky penny in them. They had a brown coating and tasted of cinnamon. BUT NO FAER MA Mum couldn’t wait to eat them... Read review

...I had several teddy bears as a child. My favourite (who went by the original name of 'Little Pink Teddy') was threadbare all over by the time I got married and finally tucked him away in a box out of my bed. I had several other teddies too, not so beloved, but still important to me over the years. So when I had children of my own, I naturally assumed they too would want teddy bears, and was delighted when my sister bought each of them, at birth, a rather nice honey-coloured jointed bear, about 20cm high. But of course tiny babies don't take much notice of their surroundings, and at a few months old are more interested in brightly coloured rattles than muted, soft toys.
