...I can't resist writing a review about all that is from my home country Portugal as Sara Tavares is a beautiful Portuguese singer, composer and guitarist, here is my brief review: Born Cape Verdean, Sara grew up between two cultures (Sara Tavares was raised by an older Portuguese woman when her Cape Verdean parents left her to search for a better life). Despite residing in Lisbon, she does not forget her Cape Verdean origins. Sara Tavares was only 16 years old when she won two of Portugal's most prestigious TV music contests: Tavares won the 1993/1994 final of the song contest Chuva de Estrelas(stars in they're eyes) and the Portuguese Television Song Contest final in 1994, consequently earning a place the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "Chamar a Música" Her second album 'Mi Ma Bô', produced by Parisian Lokua Kanza...

Perfect soundtrack for the film!

Advantages: Great mixture of songs
Disadvantages: Not any really

...Charlie's Angels the movie was released in 2000 and with it, this great accompanying soundtrack. The film is a beautiful mix of fast paced action and the free flowing cohesiveness of the scenes can be attributed in part to the music used to accompany it. Featuring some oldies and some new (at the time of release anyway) songs it is the perfect meeting between the old series and the new movies. Review of Charlie's Angels I - Original Soundtrack

BURN BABY BURN

Advantages: Superb stonking disco beats
Disadvantages: Trying to sing along in the Bee Gees style could prove embarrassing

..., background strings and super-groovy bongos. Even if instrumentals aren't your bag, you just can't help but move your feet to these infectious numbers which are also perfect for cruising down the motorway to. Yvonne Elliman gives us the I-so-know-what-you-feel 'If I Can't have You' in her particularly dulcet tones, Tavares repeat 'More than a Woman' in their own less alto style, and KC and the Sunshine Band treat us to 'Open Sesame' and the totally danceable, good time 'Boogie Shoes'. And last but by no means least, The Trammps give us the full-on 12 inch version of the classic 'Disco Inferno', a fast, furious festival of a tune which for many epitomises the sweaty, sublime disco era. The Best album of Jamiroquai

Advantages: Great album, very catchy and smooth tunes
Disadvantages: None!

...'A Funk Odyssey' is without a doubt the best album Jamiroquai has made. Slow, smooth tunes fill your brain with delight while on the other side there are the disco-like, fast songs. A great blend of Jamiroquai's talents. There are only 10 songs on the disc, but still that is enough to get you involved in 'Jay Kay's' music. The slower songs, like 'Corner of the Earth', 'Picture of my Life' and 'Black Crow' really show you how Jay's life is, while the faster songs, like 'Little L', 'Love Foolosophy' and 'Main Vein' really bring you back to the times when the Tavares and Barry White were the big shots. But with a twist, a thing like only Jamiroquai can do. A couple songs, like 'Feels so Good' and 'Twenty Zero One' are a little weird, with computer-like voices, and it would been better if Jay had put more slower songs on the disc...

...the right place in the title, or even realised that an asterisk was required. After all, any film which employs Rod Stewart?s Angel and Tavares? Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel on the soundtrack because their relevance is their title needs all the plus marks it can get and grammar is where it?s at after all. PS Ultra cool reference point ? John Forsyth who was the voice of Charlie in the original series and was Blake Carrington in that other mythical 80?s TV smash, Dynasty, is featured again here....

Dullest movie of 2007

Disadvantages: Everything

...absolutley no mention of it anywhere else in the film. As far as i could tell there wasn't really even a proper storyline, to me it just seemed like there was some evil tribe that liked going round killing other tribes. Whether or not this is the storyline i have no idea but i'm glad i didn't pay more money to see it at the cinema. The acting was also very poorly done and some parts of the film are subtitled, though i felt these didnt stay up long enough to read at some parts. This has to be the most dull film i've seen this year. I can't realy comment on it much further as i didn't have a clue what was going on and it was that boring i did fall asleep part through for a bit!! It was a very unmemorable film and i definitely wouldnt recommend it Cast Karl Urban, Jay Tavare, Clancy Brown, Russell Means, Ralf Moeller, Zoe Raye & Moon Bloodgood...

Bring out the horned helms
