Taxi - A once watch film.

Advantages: Very high paced, Some good Humour, Music and A lot of the acting is very good.
Disadvantages: Some "Cheesy" bits and one actor in particular is pretty poor.

Taxi is an American re-make of the original French "Taxi" created by Luc-Besonn, which was a major hit across France. The film has a 15 rating, the box saying it had Moderate language and Sex references, I noticed a lot of the mild language but that was really it. Queen Latifa plays Belle, New York's fastest cab driver, in the film and is joined by Jimmy Fallon playing Andy Washburn, a discredited, car-less cop. Jenifer Esposito also appears in the film as Andy Washburn's Lieutenant and ex-girlfriend. The Brazilian Super Model, Gisele Bündchen appears as the ringleader of the female bank robbers and twice Oscar nominated Ann-Margret plays as Washburn's Mum...

Crazzzzzzzzzzzzy Taxi!

Advantages: Great fun, easy to play.
Disadvantages: No real aims or missions to complete.

...I purchased the platinum version of this game as part of a 3 for £20 offer which was at my local Game store. I had played this game before but not for quite a few years and I brought back great memories of nostalgia and playing against my friends to see who was the best taxi driver. The game is just for one player which means that you're going to have to take it in turns if you want to have mini competitions which my fiance and I have been doing quite a lot lately as it's our main means of entertainment when we are out my house (mainly because the xbox 360 is always left in his bedroom as it's his pride and joy!) The aim of the game is to play against the clock to drive passengers to their destination, you earn tips for weaving past cars and for making a speedy drop off. Taxi - A cheap thrill ride

Advantages: Some good car chase scenes, some fairly funny dialogue,

...I watched this the other day (you've gotta love having time off during summer :)) as it was shown on Film4 and I'd keep your eyes open if you have Freeview, as its worth catching on TV but I wouldn't say its the sort of movie that most people would really think is worth going out of their way to purchase on DVD or anything. This is a remake or American version of a hit French movie, by Luc Besson. Its an action packed comedy, starring Queen Latifah as a sort of girl boy racer called Belle, who has a souped up Taxi Cab that she finally gets her Taxi license to be able to go out and take paying customers for rides in and Jimmy Fallon, who plays a unlucky NY cop, detective Washburn. They end up meeting up when Washburn, apparently for the third time totals a police car and in doing so ruins a bodega, which costs the police department...

Craaaazy Taxi!

Advantages: Fast paced, exciting, enjoyable

...Crazy Taxi is a very enjoyable game which doesn't require any brain power and is very easy to play. The basic idea is that you pick up people and drop them off at their destination, the more dangerously you drive the more the bonuses rack up; have a crash and the bonuses start back at the beginning! There are many different modes to play to keep you interested, such as challenges against time, and jumps. The normal game is exciting too, with a soundtrack from offspring it adds to the manic atmosphere of the crazy taxi world. Don't expect to be challenged mentally by this game, but you'll certainly find some of the modes frustrating - in a good way. I'd recommend this game to anyone who likes to use their Dreamcast to unwind and relax....

...I bought crazy taxi for the dreamcast for my husband, and we both love it. Its such an addictive game once you get playing on it. First of all you choose the driver. the cars are all open top cars. You have a time limit to pick up customers and take them to their destinations, as fast as possible. You have to drive really fast, which makes it more fun to play. There is music in the background whilst you are playing. When you drive really fast and dangerous, the customers stand up in the taxi and start shouting abuse at the driver, its really funny. The graphics are really good and clear. You can buy the game from any computer store like pc world for around £15 - £20 which isn't abad price. I'd recommend this game to anyone for dreamcast or ps2...

Advantages: Some impressive stunts!
Disadvantages: a not so impressive plot!

...Slated by the critics... and a not so good take at the box office! Has this film really got anything to offer? Well actually yes... Not really my sort of film (fast cars; scantily clad women; little story) but it does make up for what it lacks in strength of its two leads and some pretty nifty stunts.
