Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

She is one of these stereotypical Americans in that she wants to know everything and she doesn?t seem to have any boundaries, any subject is fair game and she is unable to recognise (or perhaps happy to ignore) when she makes others feel uncomfortable. Taylor's back and she's better than ever before!!

Advantages: Beautiful voice, great songwriting and guitar playing. Sings with a lot of emotion.
Disadvantages: None! But she isn't that big in the UK yet!

...I first discovered Taylor Swift about two and a bit years ago on Youtube and instantly got drawn to her song "Teardrops on My Guitar" which I downloaded along with her first self-titled debut album. Taylor's first album was amazing, so Fearless had a lot to live up to!! I couldn't wait 'till the UK release date (9th March '09), so I got it imported a few days after it was released in the US (November '08), and I have listened to at least one of her songs everyday since! Fearless is a fresh, pop-country album which most people would instantly think would only be popular with teenage girls, but I think her voice and songs would suit most people even if they don't usually listen to this genre of music, I am sure they will fall in love with it! Taylor is Terrific

Advantages: Great CD, new tunes which are just as great as the old ones!
Disadvantages: A couple of more boring tracks slipped in there.

...Where to start......... I am a big fan. James Taylor's music is all great! Though there are obviously going to be better albums than others. The best by far is Sweet Baby James, so if you're looking for where to start, start there. However, this is a contender. Just because he's not in the hight of youth does not stop James from producing a great album which is even better (in my opinion) than the highly acclaimed "Hourglass", the previous album. This album starts with the classic Jam"es Taylor fingerpicking technique and great songwrting of October Road" which has got to be the best song of the album. "September Grass" is not far off though the cover "Mean Old Man" is less of my cup of tea. I'd say that this album ranks around fifth in my Taylor Collection. Preceed by "Sweet Baby James", "Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon...
