Taylormade R7 Superquad
Review of TaylorMade R7 Quad Driver by
blueblobby
Advantages: Weight movable technology
Disadvantages: Not for the beginner
...It was about time that I upgraded some of my golf equipment, well it all needs to be up graded myself included. If you play the game you may know what I mean.
First up was to be a shinny new driver. I looked around for quite sometime checking out all the new stuff and finally I made my choice.
Taylormade Golf equipment was going to be the clubs for me.
The R7 Super quad was just the weapon.
I picked up the 10.5° degrees of loft with a regular shaft and I must as it was light after the old driver. But boy did it go I have been about thirty yards longer every time.
However have not always been straight but that would be me and not the club.
This club has weight movement technology which is all good fun and it works. Set the club up for a high draw and that is what you will get.
Technical Bit
The driver comes in all black...

Rrrrrrrrrrrrr 7
Review of TaylorMade R7 Quad Driver by
Senter104
Advantages: Easy to use, good looks
Disadvantages: Can be pricey - shop around
...The secret to this driver is the Taylor Made Launch Control system which is effectively 4 little screw-in weights (2 x 10 grammes and 2 x 5 grammes) that reside in the back of the club. Based on the way the 4 weights are distributed around the back of the club will determine the shape of your shot. The beast comes with a custom wrench to unscrew the weights and a handy 'wheel' that shows you the best positions for the weights based on your swing and ability.
I have always been the kind of gut that takes a 3 Wood off the tee as my driving was always a little wayward to say the least. My game had evolved and my ability increased to the point that I needed a little extra off the tee. Last year I had the opportunity to buy the R7 and since I picked it up my driving has improved considerably. Now we all see the adverts...

The Beast Is HERE!!
Review of TaylorMade R7 Quad Driver by
superrobclark
Advantages: Unparralled Distance
Disadvantages: Large Price Tag
...How do you fancy out driving all your friends, by at least ten yards!
Interested.......Well read on!
Taylormade rencently launched the R7 Quad, a landmark golfing technology. The R7 quad features the latest Taylormade technology, Taylormade Launch Control, known in the buisness as TLC. This latest innovation allows Taylormade to drive past it rivals with unparalelled ease!
TLC gives you, the golfer, unpresendented freedom to change the driver's launch conditions by redistributing 24 grams of discretionary weight in a variety of ways.
TLC cartridges can be postioned in 4 different sections on the club allowing you to change the R7 Quad's centre of gravity , and thus permitting you to manipulate the launch angle, spin rate and trajectory of your drives to promote longer and more accurate results.

Top quality Taylor Made putter range
Review of Taylor made Nubbins Putters by
hocky
Advantages: Fantastic feel and a great roll
Disadvantages: None
...What makes any putter different from another? They are all used on the green to roll the ball into the hole aren't they? Well this range is a little different...
The Taylor Made Nubbins range of putters is very distinctive in looks. They have an orange rubber insert covering the clubface (where you hit the ball) that has little 'nubs' protruding from it (a bit like lego!!). The idea behind this is that when the putter strikes the golf ball, the ball is gripped by the nubs which are incredibly soft, stays on the putter face for longer than a normal putter and then makes the ball roll much quicker after impact. This action reduces any skidding that may normally occur and promotes a great feel and roll on the green thus producing a good putt.
Surprisingly the technology actually works!! These putters feel very soft and the roll...

Taylormade new WMD ( Wepon of Mass Driving )
Review of Taylor Made R540 Driver by
kactus
Advantages: Tiger Wood eat your heart out
Disadvantages: Will not be popular with your bank manager
...that a golf ball can travel when hit at a certain test speed has also been capped. Amazingly, manufacturers have pushed the envelope and are creating new products that get within a hair’s breadth of these limits.
The upshot of all this is that since the limits on distance and size have been met, millions of dollars are being spent on research to create better, more forgiving and more playable equipment and balls. One such product that is causing waves is TaylorMade’s 400cc r7 Quad driver. TaylorMade, who introduced metal woods to golf, have always been at the vanguard of golf research and manufacturing. Their new r7 clubhead is a bundle of technology aimed at simplifying draws and fades.
Professional golfers have always known that one can change their shot pattern by sticking lead tape on the clubhead. In effect, what that does is enable a player...

Taylor Made Timeless Classics
Review of Greatest Hits Vol.1 - James Taylor (Popular) by
JonnyWigan
Advantages: Well crafted, unforgettable songs.
Disadvantages: Don't let your fashionable neighbour hear you listening to it!
...James Taylor started writing songs whilst at boarding school in New England during the early sixties, and even at such a tender age, his distinctive soft-toned North Carolina voice blended perfectly with a country inspired acoustic guitar technique. It was no surprise therefore, that on graduation, the young Taylor decided his future lay in a musical direction, and after spending a short and relatively unsuccessful stint with The Beatles’ Apple Records in London, he returned to the US and signed to Warner Brothers, launching a remarkable recording career that spanned from 1968 through to the present day.
Taylor’s style of music is folk with a strong country influence, and although it’s never been a fashionable type of music to listen to (he probably stands alongside Mark Knopfler in the ‘Telented But Fashionably Clueless World...

Taylor's Swiftly Become a Favourite!
Review of Taylor Swift - Taylor Swift by
bamamo
Advantages: great vocals and songwriting
Disadvantages: a few weaker tracks in the middle, not released in the UK yet
...to be mean to her, she's going to write a song about you! It's a real in-your-face kind of song aimed at a guy and is a lot louder and faster than the rest of the first half of the CD, which is needed otherwise I think it might start to drag by the time another fast song came.
9/10
3. Teardrops On My Guitar
The song that first made me notice Taylor, although now not a favourite, this was her second single. It's a slower song about unrequited love.
7/10
4 A Place In This World
Written about Taylor's move to Nashville and trying to figure out her place in the world (as the title suggests!) this is another fairly slow song, but gets a bit louder and more upbeat in the chorus. Not a favourite but not bad.
8/10
5 Cold As You
A song about realising someone isn't who you think they are. Taylor says it's some of the writing she's proudest...

Taylor 310 Dreadnought Is Money Well Spent
Review of Taylor 310 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar by
mmosier
Advantages: Quality construction, great playability, reasonable price
Disadvantages: None
...The Taylor Guitar company touts its' Taylor 310 Dreadnought acoustic guitar as being the most affordable full size, solid wood guitar in the Taylor line. This instrument was constructed with the "no frills design" concept in mind--great sound, easy playability, and quality construction, for a reasonable price. After I "test drove" one of these guitars, I must say that the Taylor 310 Dreadnought acoustic guitar lives up to the hype.
This guitar is a six-string acoustic guitar that is a member of the Taylor 300 Series. The back and sides are sepele mahogany, the top is sitka spruce, and the neck is mahogany, with an ebony fretboard complete with pearl dot inlays. The nut and saddle are made of tusq, and the headstock overlay is Indian rosewood. The soundhole rosette is made of plastic, and the binding on the body is black plastic...

So Long It's Practically Indecent!
Review of Taylor Made R540 Driver by
the_mad_cabbie
Advantages: Hits the ball a VERY long way. Keeps the ball straight.
Disadvantages: Not a solitary thing.
...,, ultra-light graphite shaft weighing only 70 grams, and I believe you have almost the perfect golf club.
~ ~ There are various different shaft options and loft options to suit the individual golfer. For a golfer with a very fast swing speed, you can opt for a club with only 7.5 degrees of loft, and with a very stiff shaft. For a older or less strong golfer, the better option would be a “regular” shaft (whippier) with more loft; up to 12 degrees which will get the golf ball airborne more quickly.
~ ~ Now for the really good news. The price.
When the R540 first hit the market back in 2003, the price here in Ireland was a mind boggling €499. (Over £300 Sterling) I bought my R540 in McGuirks, a local Irish golfing superstore, for only €140!
Why the huge drop in price, you might well ask? It’s because TaylorMade have now released an even...
