Why spend over 100 quid on a phone...?
Review of Panasonic KX TCD735 by
idksolutions
Advantages: Loads of functions
Disadvantages: none that I've found
...…when all you want to do dial a number and speak to the person on the other end or answer the call and speak to whoever is trying to sell you double glazing or let you know that your luck is in and you can have a new kitchen for a massively reduced price???
The answer is - if that's all you think your phone is for then don't!
The panasonic KX-TCD735 is crammed with useful features to make your time spent using your phone an absolute joy. A bit over the top I know - but I spend a lot of time on the phone and wanted one that does the job well.
I forked out my £119 pounds at Currys, brought it home, and couldn't wait to get started. Only trouble was I had to...... the thing needed fully charging before I could even consider playing with the ring tone options and setting up groups and so on. So an overnight wait it was (well...

My ding-a-ling
Review of Panasonic KX TCD735 by
J----
Advantages: Excellent call quality, heaps of useful and useable features
Disadvantages: Design is functional rather than aesthetic, doesn't work in a power cut
...When we first started living together, like a lot of other people, we had a lot of essentials to get and not a lot of money to spend. We bought the best we could afford on our limited budget with the intention of replacing each item in turn when we could afford better. The Panasonic KX TCD735 was the best bargain we could find as it is a good quality phone with lots of high tech abilities included and it was cheap on eBay at £40. It has actually turned out to be one of our best bargains and we no longer intend to change it; in fact we bought a second.
The Panasonic KX TCD735
This is a cordless phone/answering machine with a hand free operation. The hand free is accessible from both the handset and the base unit. You also have the option of using headphones which is useful if you are on the phone while typing on your PC (although...

A tune for every occasion
Review of Panasonic KX TCD705 by
rachels_ratty
Advantages: small, long battery life, 200 memory address book, hands free
Disadvantages: non so far...
...Having already been the owner of a DECT phone of the BT type, which unfortunately failed the 'does it bounce on the kitchen floor test', I was when looking for a replacement trying to find another of the same ilk, but tougher this time round! After much ummmm'ing and arrrrrrrrr'ing in the telephone department of my local John Lewis store, and after consulting one of the wonderfully helpful members of staff on the subject of durability/bouncability, I decided apon purchasing the Panasonic KX-TCD705. Not exactly a name that just trips-off-the-tongue I know, but a pretty neat bit of kit nonetheless.
Back at home I opened the box...and found, well pretty much what you would expect to find really...meaning one base station, one handset, a mains adaptor, a generous length of phone cable, 2 batteries of the rechargeable variety, a belt...

Digital is better
Review of Panasonic KX TCD965 by
sarah_stitch
Advantages: Sound quality, size
Disadvantages: no speaker phone
...I recently purchased the Panasonic KX-TCD965EC and can highly recommend it, the sound quality is exceptional, to the point, that the person you are talking to can hear the birds chirping in the distance. The answer machine facility is acceptable, but not anything exceptional.
It is a very compact phone, has many features (far too many to describe in 90 words).
The price was quite high for a telephone/answering machine, but it was worth it for the sound quality alone.
The one thing which is missing is the hands free (speaker phone), which is very useful when dialing companies which keep you on hold for hours, we all know about those don't we.
All in all, it is a very practicle little phone, with exceptional sound quality, I would highly recommend it.
Thank you for reading...

Panasonic DECT brilliance
Review of Panasonic KX-TCD 505 by
Hsaxo
Advantages: Easy to use, excellent sound and build quality
Disadvantages: SMS can be fiddly to type and polyphonic ringtones aren't the best
...My review is about the Panasonic KX-TCD 505 Digital Cordless Phone.
Some while back I bought my parents some BT cordless phones, they weren't digital but at the time they were perfect for the job.
I then decided that I wanted to get an extra for my own room but being as it was around a year later I couldn't find the same phones for sale anymore so I decided to look for an alternative.
This is when I discovered the Panasonic 505 DECT with SMS.
The phone itself is very small and compact (compared to lots of other DECT phones), has easy to use and see buttons that are illuminated by a green back light and the LCD screen is also large and clear being illuminated in blue.
The sound quality of the phone is fantastic being as it's a DECT phone and reaches around 100m from the house without losing signal, the phone is also...

You Can Ring My Bell
Review of Panasonic KX TCD735 by
idol_eyes
Advantages: Jam Packed Full Of Features, Has Answer Machine
Disadvantages: A Bit Pricey
...The Panasonic KX-TCD735 has been my constant indoor companion for about the last 12 months. It cost me about £130 to buy and although that sounds a bit expensive just for a phone it really is worth its money.
The phone consists of two parts. The Base Station and the Hand Set - from here in known as the BS & the HS! If you can make out the picture which Ciao put along side the title then you can see that the HS slots into the BS. The BS can be either wall mounted or just sat on a flat surface. If you want to wall mount the BS then the slot that the HS fits into tilts so that the HS then sits up straight and doesn't stick out at an odd angle! Both the HS & the BS are silver in colour. This is a serious phone; unlike the BT Chameleon I have in the hall this is a phone for grown-ups.
Before first use, the HS must be charged...
