BEKO FRIDGE/FREEZER TDA 735S.....WHAT A BEAUTY!!
Review of Beko TDA735S by
lilacbubbles
Advantages: HUGE FRIDGE 'A' RATING FOR ECONOMY- GLASS SHELVES FOR EASY CLEANING AND NO SPILLS ONTO OTHER SHELVES - OPEN FREEZER FOR EASY ACCESS
Disadvantages: NO POWER LIGHT ON FRONT.....BUT THIS IS NOT REALLY A PROBLEM
...of the fridge and the gorgeous silver shimmery finish to the outer casing.
(Note...TDA 735S is silver, TDA 735W is white)
4. The 'A' rating for economy.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this fridge/freezer. It is a fabulous size for a family. The only negative I have is that it has no power light on the front but this is very minor as you'll know it's working by your fridge light inside. If you don't have any problems reverting back to a standard freezer which you will have to defrost at some point, then this may be just the one for you. I hope my review has been helpful to you....

Trade Appliances - Absolutely fine
Review of Trade Appliances by
dislexick
Advantages: Price, choice and delivery slots/schedule
Disadvantages: possbly longer till delivery than others but they don't hide the fact
...To be fair, i'd read the poor reviews of Trade Appliances prior to finally committing to placing my order. I was rather worried but after sitting back and thinking about it, i remembered that logically speaking, people rarely leave good reviews - on the whole. Look up reviews for any high street retailer - most of them are crap - at least 50% and if those figures were really a fair indication of what to expect - they'd all be bust.
We ordered 6 appliances of Trade Kitchens - paid online - no problems. Got an email asking for a utility bill for our name and address - not a problem - we were expecting it as their website says to if like us, you want delivery to an address different to your billing address.
We paid on a Sunday - after 9 working days had elsapsed we got a phone call asking if they could deliver all appliances two...

Awful Appliance Direct
Review of 1st Call Appliance Direct by
jenthom72
Advantages: None. Worst retailer I have had misfortune to deal with!!!
Disadvantages: Dreadful customer service, no delivery, they take your cash and give you the runaround.
...Appliance Direct promise cheap prices and a great delivery team who deliver your item straight to your door within a four hour time window and then unpack it and place it in your home. Sounds great. Some chance!
My experience with them was pure hell. They promised to deliver my washing machine on a Friday between 10am and 2pm and connect it for an extra £19.99 and when by almost 3pm they hadn't delivered I contacted them only to be given the runaround. Numerous excuses were given and I was told they'd phone me back three times and each time I had to contact them. I was promised that it would be sorted on Monday, but again I had to do the chasing. Customer Service have a problem calling people back.
It turned out they had handed my washing machine (Cost £314) to one cowboy courier who had handed it on to another...

Review of Boots Kitchen Appliances
Review of Boots Kitchen Appliances by
first12000
Advantages: Good communication, delivered on time as promised, prices pretty good
Disadvantages: Not free delivery. Delivery company didn't all they were supposed to.
...Really pleased with the whole process. This company wasn't the cheapest on price, partly because they don't do free delivery like some other companies (delivery cost £19.99), but they had the best reviews from other customers - much better than the companies selling it for cheaper.
As you can tell from the company name, they sell kitchen appliances including dishwashers, cookers, hobs, fridges, freezers, coffee machines, washing machines and tumble dryers.
We ordered a Neff Hob from them late in the evening on 8 November. The website confirmed delivery would normally be in 7 days. The confirmation email stated that someone would contact me within 48 hours to confirm the order and to arrange a suitable delivery date.
Sure enough, the next day I had a phone call confirming the order and arranging a delivery date for one week...

Rolls Royce of Appliances
Review of Gaggenau Kitchens by
missydoc
Advantages: High quality, designer product
Disadvantages: Price
...I have worked with Gaggenau appliances for more than 4years and my confidence grows on the brand every day. Many of you may not have heard of the brand, maybe due to the fact it not being a common household appliance such as Neff and Bosch that are available in large stores like Comet and Curries but a brand above the norm and available through middle to high end kitchen retailers.
The History:
Gaggenau is a name of a small town in Germany. In 1880, whilst the Industrial Revolution helped people with ideas, a factory in the small town of Gaggenau was the place known for where products 'came to life'. It was a place that manufactured enameled signs, coal and gas stoves and bicycles.
Gaggenau became a known brand internationally after 1961 when a passionate chef took over the reins of the factory and started to manufacturer top...

Very disappointing Experience
Review of Boots Kitchen Appliances by
justathought
Advantages: Earn advantage card points, good range and prices
Disadvantages: they didn't deliver, bad communication
...After having a dodgy Indesit washer dryer for a few years that nobody liked (it was so noisy it sounded like a plane taking off and the clothes were never properly spun or dried). So, when it stopped working again, it was not a surprise. However, when the guy from Scottish gas was working on it, there was what sounded like an explosion. We were told that it had 'gone' and we would have to buy a new one. Oh joy.........
This is the story of my washing machine saga with Boots..............
Having done the very boring job of researching integrated washer dryers on the internet to find a machine of the right dimensions at the best price with a company that I'd actually heard of, I came across Boots kitchen appliances. Since I've been a loyal customer of Boots for a few years now, I thought this was a company I could trust...

Sainsbury service in a different name
Review of Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances by
getscenic
Advantages: quality service from a trusted name
Disadvantages: delivery options
...The electrical home appliance market is one of the most hotly contested and competitive markets I have come across, I worked for a white goods distribution company some years ago and know the wafer thin margins that retailers are working on.
It therefore surprises me to see the number of retailers that have jumped on the band wagon and have set up home appliance retail operations. It is not till you peek behind the facade of their websites that you see the trick.
Search on any price comparison site for say a Hotpoint washing machine and you will get anything up to 30 different retailers, most of whom pitch their price within £10-£15 pounds of each other. But did you know that at least 10 of those different companies are supplied from the same warehouse.
I recently ordered the appliances for my new kitchen and wanting to take...

a first class service from Sainsburys Kitchen
Review of Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances by
Giuseppe56
Advantages: good prices for most items, many items in stock, can choose delivery day
Disadvantages: ordering over the phone better than online
...As we are about to renovate out kitchen, we needed 6 new appliances (ovens, hob, hood, fridge-freezer & dishwasher). For one appliance we could not find the model we wanted on the Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances. For 4 of the other 5 appliances the prices from Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances were some of the best on the internet, thus we ordered these four from them. For those items with different colur choices, we could not make a colour choice on line. We ended up phoning, something I would have done anyway as I wanted to check whether they were in stock and whether they could deliver the following week. Ordering over the phone was very easy: 3 items were in stock and could agree there and then for a delivery the following week on a day of our choice. The remaining item was not in stock, but we ordered it anyway and eventually was also...
