Quality branded DVD-R's from TDK
Review of TDK DVD-R 4.7 GB 16x by
miketurner
Advantages: Reputable and reliable
Disadvantages: Bad colour
...I paid about £20 from Adsa for the pack of 100 TDK DVD-R's (4.7Gb, 16 x speed), which I consider to be great value for a reliable, reputable make such as TDK.
I have used about half of the discs so far, mainly for films but also for backing up data, photos etc, from the PC. I have not encountered a single faulty disc, as of yet.
They seem very reliable, and have a write speed of upto 16 x, although I have not been able to test this as my DVD writer only writes at a maximum 4 x.
My only grumble with the discs is the colour. They are printed a metallic blue colour, with a pattern and the TDK logo on. While this is very nice to look at, it isn't very good for writing on with a black marker. Space (to write on the disc, not capacity) is limited because of this....

End of Cassttes, TDK Mini DV Tapes, Superb
Review of TDK DVM 60ME Mini DV 60 min by
qasem121
Advantages: Record over and over again, high quality, Compact
Disadvantages: 2 play in video you need a dv casstee convertor
...Mini DV tapes are great... And the best thing is you can record over them as many times as you like over and over again and you still get a high quality picture.
Well what about my experience:
Having brought a DV Camcorder I wanted to buy DV Tapes..
So rather than just buying any DV Tape I started to do my research like I normally do when I buy any of my products.
I searched online (Googling IT) for DV Tapes that where of a high quality and which had a perfect playback quality.
While searching over the net I came across a few DV Tape makes such as Fuji, DVC, Sony, Maxell & TDK
Having read reviews about the products like I normally do, I decided to go down to my local Argos store and buy TDK DVM-60 MiniDV Tapes for £7.99. I was expecting to buy just 1 for that price but I got 2 for that price. What a bargin!
Now to my...

TDK CD-R Marker Pen
Review of TDK CD-R Marker Pen - CD labelling pen by
Kingkarliii
Advantages: Last a long time
Disadvantages: Only 4 Colours
...in the front of the packet or case to hold the pens securely in place
***The Pens***
As I have already mentioned there are four pens in a packet, Red, Green, Blue and Black. Each one has written in silver TDK CD-R PEN with the TDK logo clearly visible. On the end of each pen is a different coloured screw in cap to help identify the pen that you require. As well as this each pen has a different coloured lid and have a clip on them so that you can clip them to the inside of your jacket or shirt pocket. The nibs of these pens are really fine making it easy to write and recognise what you have written and there is no smudging at all
***Smell***
Like most permanent markers these pens give of toxic fumes that would make you high if you were to sit there and sniff them or use them in a small unaired room.
***Price***
Unfortunately I did...

At last an Epson printer to rely on!
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R1800 by
Lush1
Advantages: Reliable, straight forward to use
Disadvantages: Output tray a bit too flimsy
...as an unsubstantial flap, which is neither strong enough, nor long enough to be able to hold even one A3 sheet. So if you do not fancy the flap breaking or your beautifully printed paper falling straight onto the floor, then desk space at the front of the printer is an absolute must. As printer is top loading, thankfully no additional space is required at the back of the printer.
Print Sizes:
As with all A3+ printers, it is possible to print A4 landscape and portrait, A3 standard size paper or roll and A3+, which is really useful if you require an image or document to be printed to the absolute boarders of A3. The real addition on this printer is its ability to print directly onto CD disks via a special slot in the front of the machine. This must be used with specially coated disks that can be printed onto though, such as Sony or I think TDK...

Bluetooth... Or long in the tooth?
Review of TDK go blue Bluetooth USB Adaptor by
rickyshah
Advantages: It does what what is says on the tin
Disadvantages: lickle cable
...Right, now this is a review on the TDK go blue Bluetooth adaptor for your PC.
What’s it do, then?
------------------------------
Well, in a nutshell, it enables your PC to access Bluetooth devices.
Right, but my teeth are yellow. What is Bluetooth?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bluetooth is a form of wireless communication. It enables devices (like mobiles and PC's) to "talk" to each other without the need for wires. "Why would you want to do this!" I hear you cry. Well, there are many applications. Imagine a Bluetooth printer - you could connect it to any computer on the fly - or a Bluetooth keyboard - so you can sit on the sofa and type. The reason why I purchased this was that I have a range of Bluetooth enabled mobile phones, and I wanted an easy way to transfer stuff to and from...

Top of the range inkjet - amazing printer
Review of Hewlett-Packard Personal Printer by
murban
Advantages: Quick, amazing text quality, nice photo quality, computer doesn't have to be on to opporate, auto-alignment, the list goes on
Disadvantages: Bitch to install, no tools in windows toolbox, more suited to business environment
...The HP 2250 Business Inkjet is the latest innovation from HP. For those who don't already know, Hewlett Packard is the Coca-Cola of the printing world. If you've already read my reviews on the HP Laserjet 5L and the HP2000C, not only will you know my life story but you'll realise I wouldn't trust anyone else to provide my printing. Anyway, my old HP2000C broke down, was temporarily replaced by the devil himself (Laserjet 5L) and now I have finally been blessed with this miricle.
The HP 2200 range is aimed at business users, but power freaks like myself will not be disappointed. The machine costs nearly £470, but it is the bees knees, and unless you can afford £3000 for a colour laser printer, or £800 for the HP2500, this is what you want. The price is steep, and I don't recommend it for those that need 'NICE' and 'SPEEDY' printing...

Print-Scan-Copy OK but not the greatest printer
Review of HP PSC1215 Printer by
susancarter
Advantages: Prints, scans and photocopies. Saves a fortune on photocopying.
Disadvantages: Often mis-feeds paper. Doesn't hold large number of printed sheets.
...Introduction
=
I'd wanted to have a printer-scanner for a long time but as nobody had written drivers for them on RISC OS (the operating system I prefer to use) I had been unable to get one. However, one day we got a phone call from a friend who worked in Somerfield. They had a special computer deal which provided the complete package (computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, all-in-one printer, and software) and it would only cost £400. I imagine the reason for the deal was probably the fact that it wasn't the latest hardware and that Somerfield had bought them as an end of range from somewhere else. However as the only computer we had that operated Windows was my husband's computer operating on Windows 95 (he'd advanced to it from an electronic typewriter in 2004) and we had been planning to buy a new printer anyway we...

A problematic printer
Review of Hewlett-Packard Personal Printer by
GR-Design
Advantages: Easy network installation, Very fast printing speeds
Disadvantages: Seems to have it's fair share of problems!
...I’ve just read another opinion on this printer by someone and he seems to have had the same types of problems that I’ve had, except his seemed a bit worse!
Before I go on, I’ll tell you a little bit about the printer for those who want to know!
Now this printer is meant to be robust and work to your needs. It is actually supposed to be a business printer and not a home printer, so it’s made to work, not to sit around for weeks waiting for one of the kid’s to finally do their homework. They do work it at work aswell, it’s shared via 2 PC’s (more about that later) and they are both secretaries PC’s so it has to print a fair few letters each day!
It can print an impressive 15 pages per minute in black and 14 in colour, and yes, it really doe’s do that and for an inkjet...

THIS IS A GREAT PRINTER
Review of Lexmark Color JetPrinter Z23e by
happygoluckygirl
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: slow to print
...Ok we bought our computer in 2000 and it was a package deal with printer, scanner etc and the printer was a Lexmark it was a fantastic printer. Then last year it started playing up and not printing correctly but as we never used the printer all that much at that time we really never bothered and it done the trick for my son printing out some of his pictures.
One day we were in ASDA and we noticed they had the Lexmark Z23e on sale at £29.99, I had to look twice, as I didn't realise this item could be so cheap I think it was mainly to do with the printer we had was part of a package so I never really gave its price a second thought.
The good thing about it is that it doesn't take up much space at all, it is 5.1" high, 8.1" deep and 17.5" wide, although you have to make sure there is plenty of room for the paper to come out at other...

Dell photo printer 720
Review of Dell Colour Printer 720**- Affordable Inkjet Solution by
Theman000
Advantages: Size, cheap
Disadvantages: Paper intake, expensive cartridges, slow
...I bought this Dell printer several months ago when my old printer broke down. I have never really needed to print much (only the occasional essay or B-day card), so I decided to go for this cheap Dell 720 photo printer. I looked for the cheapest printer I could find and I believe this one cost between £30-35 on the Dell website. I have just checked on the website and I don’t think they even sell this version anymore. A newer version the ‘Dell 725’ has replaced the 720 and is now the cheapest model that Dell sells in the UK (at £35).
I ordered the printer on the website and everything from payment to delivery went very smooth (as you might expect from such a big company).
IN THE BOX:
The Dell photo printer 720
2 Inkcartridges: 1 Black Standard Capacity Cartridge and 1 Tri- color Standard Capacity Cartridge (Cyan...
