...When preparing a PowerPoint presentation, unless you intend to attach your laptop to a very large wall mounted video screen or television you will require a projector of some description to enable those in the audience to actually see images and read any text. In my line of business it is of the utmost importance that clients and other members of staff can see the charts we present and read through the sometimes quite detailed business plans we prepare. Our two new conference rooms are now equipped with the Toshiba TDP S35 projector, a relative bargain purchase for only 420 Euros (approximately £300).
I cannot comment on the actual decision to purchase these projectors over the other brands and models available on the market as I had no hand within the decision making process, but I will provide my opinion on what they are like to use...

...►►► Why should I buy a DLP projector and especialy Toshiba TDP ET20
There comes a time when your friend are just multiplying and the bedroom or the living room is just too small to ensure a comfortable view at your 19/21 inch monitors and so on.What can be done?! This product enters in action; what could be nicer than being in the courtyard with your large number of friends and watching a movie or a HDTV video while the barbecue is almost ready just 5 meters away ☺. If it rains there's still hope, just take the projector into the living room but just make sure is a double one:). So, do you or do you not need a projector now ?!
Why should I buy Toshiba TDP ET20, because is a 3 in 1 musketeer, a DVD player, an audio system and an....I forgot ....a yes a DLP projector. The functions are great the design is...

Review of Toshiba TDP ET20
Advantages: Toshiba TDP S20 Disadvantages: keystone adjustments not very useful
...working for a poor art gallery we needed somthing cheap but effective for our shows. i had a good look at everything out there and ended up with 2 of these for my £900 rather than just one.
the specs were quite good for the money in fact i could not find anything else as good for the price i got mine.
the 800x600 resolution with a 1400ANSI lumen light makes a great picture but only in low light, i found the picture faded if i turned on any thing more than a 40w table lamp,
the contrast ratio (difference between black and white) is 2000:1,which is very respectable for such a cheap projector and with a projection size from 30-300 inches with good zoom and focus in the 3-33 foot projection distance. there was little complaint from the bosses about their useability.
the Toshiba TDP S20 comes packed with connectors for connecting...

Review of Toshiba TDP S20
...a decent amount of L2 cache (i.e 2MB). It fits in AMD's AM2 Socket. It is based on 90 nm manufacturing process. It is rated at a TDP of 125 watts. Boy that's very high. If you are looking to buy an energy efficient PC, don't even think of buying this processor.
Architecture Features:
HyperTransport technology, AMD64 technology, integrated memory controller, Enhanced Virus Protection
The processor comes with a heatsink fan which is just OK. I have never even thought of overclocking the processor as I am afraid of frying the processor with stock heatsink fan.
I will not recommend this processor for the reason that you can easily buy a decent Intel processor in this price range which has better performance as compared to this processor....
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Lack of overclocking headroom
...This is the first Black Edition processor from AMD that I own. This processor has 2.8 GHz of stock speed and 3MB total cache divided in 2x512KB L2 cache and 2 MB L3 cache. This Athlon series built on 65nm process so it has rather high TDP, which is 95 watt. I think this is the fastest dual core processor on 65nm process. The Athlon X2 7850 also has HyperTransport 3.0, for up to 28.5 GB/s total processor to system bandwidth, and it supports DDR2 memory with a maximum speed of 1066MHz.
In term of overclocking, this processor has the same character with all Phenom I processor. It was a hard work to overclock this processor. I set the vcore up to 1.4v and the maximum clock speed I got was 3.1GHz. Well I think this is not the best dual core from AMD.
After overclocking this processor up to 3.1GHz, I try to use this processor to play some...
Advantages: Very cool, easy to install Disadvantages: copper on the cpu side far from mirror ( needs a polish )
...Test system:
processor - AMD Athlon FX62 (2 x 2800 MHz / 125W TDP)
motherboard - ASUS M2N32 DeLuxe Wireles Edition (passive cooling system with HeatPipe)
Cooler is very easy to install just one lever.
More experienced users will probably remove thermal compound and polish the surface of the cooler ( it is far from being a mirror ) and then apply high quality thermal compound.
This will give You another 1-2 C less and faster cooling down after stress.
all tests were done using Zalman STG 1 ( high quality thermal compound )

...Total Digital Photography (TDP) is a monthly magazine brought to you by Archant Specialist, who also publish other magazines such as "Which Digital Camera" and "Photography Monthly". TDP is aimed at photographers with a wide range of capabilities. It is packed full of useful news, hints and reviews which I will look at in more detail.
~Package~
This magazine is A4 sized and has a glossy front cover. The issue that I am currently using as an example is the September 2003 issue, which has 147 pages. More often than not the magazine will be sold with a free CD which contains photo?s that have been used in the magazine, which comes in useful (to be discussed later on). The CD also often includes free software, plug-ins for photo editing packages such as Photoshop and various demos, freeware and shareware.
~Where to Buy~

It support the following features:
Enhanced SpeedStep technology, streaming SIMD extensions 2, streaming SIMD extensions 3, Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology, Execute Disable Bit capability.
Downsides:
Intel D945 is rated at a TDP of 95 watts, which is reasonably high.
It produces a lot of heat.
The stock heat sink and fan are of low quality.

This processor also has a warranty of 3 Years, so, if something goes wrong within warranty , you can have a new processor.
Final Words:
I personally liked this processor, although it has some downsides as well. But...
