Advantages: Good colour and texture, smells lovely, enhances colour Disadvantages: Expensive for what it does
...Seeing as my hair is now at the stage where it needs a complete rest from dyeing, I have been on the lookout for alternative ways of keeping my red colour a little bit longer. Therefore, when I saw The Big W had a sale on recently, I was happy to snap up this product for half price. (Expect to pay between £3 and £4 for a 250ml bottle normally.)
Te Tao has been a well-known range for quite a while now, but it wasn’t one I had ever tried, feeling the products were rather over-priced. They do a range of shampoos for various hair types (see www.tetao.com for further details) but this one caught my eye because it is a deep, dark orange-red colour and had the word ‘henna’ in it. As you probably know, henna has been used for centuries to dye hair in a more natural way than using bleaches and chemicals.
The full name...
Advantages: Excellent highly defined display. Good for the price. Disadvantages: Can develop faults over time.
...Earlier this year, lacking the funds for a fancy flat screen TFT or LCD monitor to replace my 4 year old Dell monitor I decided to opt for the Relisys TE 770 model CRT model. Having never even heard of the brand name before, I was rather skeptical.
My sole reason for buying the TE 770 was that it was the only black monitor currently on offer in the shop, put simply I wanted my new monitor to compliment my other hardware components.
Setting the model up was quite easy, a power cable is supplied with the monitor, though you may need some help from another person when lifting the monitor onto a desk or workspace.
You do need to plug in two leads, the monitor's input cable, and the power cable. The input cable must be slotted into the American style 3 - pin slot in the back of your tower/ flat case unit.
The power cable has two ends...

Review of Relisys TE 770
Advantages: Fun, educational, entertaining, hands on Disadvantages: Very big (can't see it all), can't take pictures of exhibits
...Te Papa Tongarewa museum ("Te Papa" or "Our Place" for short) is New Zealand's national museum and is right in the heart of Wellington next to the docks. If you only have time to visit one thing in Wellington, visit Te Papa. Many of the collections are online, so if you can't make it all the way to New Zealand, then have a look at the web pages instead. Originally dating from 1992 (or 1998 for the present incarnation in its iconic building), this is a modern museum suitable for children and adults alike and the exhibits are fun and often interactive, whilst still being educational.
Most of the exhibitions are free, but you pay if you want to go on a guided tour. Lifts going to every floor help with accessibility and are useful for everyone - the museum goes up to floor level 7, so we were quite worn out by the end of our trip...
Advantages: does what it says, smells lovely Disadvantages: slightly expensive.
...For as long as I can remember I have been using Head and Shoulders shampoo as I suffer with a dry flaky scalp. This works well, but recently my hairdresser advised me not to use it as often as I do as it was to harsh for me.
So over the last week or so I have been searching for a shampoo that wouldn't be has harsh but still gave me the effect of my usual shampoo.
I spent ages looking on the shelves and spotted a shampoo that I had seen a while back but never bothered with as I didn't know much about it.
WHAT IS IT CALLED?
TE TAO (chinese herbal therapy) TEA FOR HAIR
This shampoo gently cleanses your hair and regulates dry scalp, so it seemed ideal for what I needed from a shampoo. It contains mild chrysanthemum, lycium berries and eclipta.
It cost me £2.99 for a 250ml/8.4floz bottle. This was from Tesco.
I started...

Review of Te Tao Tea Tree Shampoo
Advantages: Unique Smell, leaves you cool and refreshed Disadvantages: Not moisturising enough. Quite Pricey.Bottle wont last long.
...On a recent shopping trip, I purchases a trial size (125ml) bottle of Te Tao body wash for £1.25. Anyway, before I go into the pro?s and con?s, one simple question: Would I by this product again? Answer: Yes
The body wash contains many natural ingredients. The two main ingredients are Chinese angelica, and green tea. The green tea is added to smooth and soften, and to leave a layer on the skin to protect from pollutants. The angelica is an ancient remedy for sluggish circulation flow, so it has a refreshing and revitalising properties. Other ingredients include ginger, cinnamon and sunflower oil.
So as you can see, the emphasis is on natural ingredients. This isn?t a surprise, as the Te Tao range are made by Kaun. Kaun was created in 1998 by four women who were inspired by holistic and herbal medicine
The product comes in clear...
Advantages: Space, Pace, Class, built like an outhouse Disadvantages: Petrol Consumption, hard to find the spec you want
...With the birth of our 4th child last year, I need a car with 6 seats. I had a budget of £6,500. The best MPV i could get for that was a 1993 Renault Espace with a smoky engine, ripped cloth seats and tatty loose fittings. Comparing parts and service prices between that and Mercedes showed very little difference and the Mercedes E Class estate drives an awful lot better.
I ended up with a more powerful model than I intended with a 240+ bhp 300TE-24valve Sportline from 1991. This car may be 12 years old now and have 150,000 miles under its belt but when it was new in 1991 it cost over £40,000. It was built well and still has no rattles or squeeks (apart from the baby seat!), cleans up beutifully and does not look its age at all.
It has proved relatively reliable, very comfortable, safe, swift and has very low depreciation now.
I...

Review of Mercedes 300 TE
Advantages: Immensely powerful vocals, excellent songwriting, hugely atmospheric Disadvantages: Intense vocals will put some people off
...Following on from their slow-paced funeral doom-like previous effort 'Dark Metal, eccentric German black metal band Bethlehem loosed upon the world one of the most disturbing, bat-shit-crazy black metal releases of all time in the form of 1996 album 'Te Dictius Necare'.
Latin for 'You Must Kill Yourself', Dictius Te Necare' consists of seven tracks of depressive and unconventional black metal with frequent doom leanings, accompanied by utterly deranged shrieked vocals performed by one Rainer Landfermann, all of which are in the german tongue. The use of German affords the album mysterious feel, as it is intriguing to think what the vocalist might be screaming about, but the lyrics are apparently so esoteric and obscure that they dont make much sense to german speakers either.
Many of the songs are built around raw, up...
Advantages: Great design, sharp image, good colours, stable base, easy to use Disadvantages: Provided software is a curse upon your PC, dynamic contrast is rather unsubtle
... LG Widescreen Monitor
I've owned the LG W2252TE monitor now for around 6 months and it still makes me smile to look at it. I upgraded to this from a 17" Philips that I'd had for around 4 years and was slowly dying - the cable connection was dodgy, thunderflies had crawled inside and died - so the time was ripe for a new monitor. As with their TV range, LG manage to produce some fantastic value screens that don't compromise on the quality, all with beautiful design, and this monitor is no exception to that rule.
Looks
The screen as a whole is simply gorgeous to look at. The bevel around the edge is a smooth, deep black, that doesn't suffer too badly from greasy fingerprints, remarkably. The screen itself does a great job of diffusing any glare in the room. The power button is stylish and understated, with different...

Review of LG W2252TE
...Hi, this is my first Opinion in english (I'm from Germany), so I've chosen something, that isn't too difficult to write ... ;o).
It's a quotation from the TAO TE KING.
The TAO TE KING hasn't anything to do with a king, it is a anthology of wise sayings, wrote by Laotse, a chinese philosopher.
The translation of TAO TE KING is:
"the book of the sense and the kind of life"
I like reading this book, because it's full of wisedom...
Here is one of my favourites, it's about the duality of everything (I've just the german version, so I do my best to translate it into english) :
When the people on earth
recognize beauty as beauty,
ugliness is born.
When the people on earth
recognize good as good,
the evil is born.
See:
Being and Not-Being show each other,
Light...

Review of Poetry
Advantages: Great talents Disadvantages: The talents wore out and were never that good!
...Having written this opinion a while back now, the actual splitting of STEPS has not affected me at all! This opinion was all hyped on how long STEPS were going to last written back in 2001! Now they have actually split up...
StEpS WAS a band of 5 which included Faye, Lisa, claire, Lee and H who had been around for quite a while and finally realised there time was up! I have no right to say that STEPS were a complete failure because they were totally 100% not! They were a sucessful band/group but came and went just like the once famous 'sPiCe gIrLs' but sTePs actually split making their ' long era' actually come to a shooting halt!
THE STEPS UPWARDS
=
The group came together in 1997 when there was a competition, all 5 members of sTePs came together together to form the amazing group.
The band then released...
