...HomeImprovement is one of the greatest comedy series ever to be broadcast on television, starring Tim Taylor played by the comic genius Tim Allen.
Tim Taylor lives with his wife Jill and has three boys Brad and Randy, who are always pulling little scams and tricks on there parents and there little brother Mark, who is the youngest of the three, and isnt much of a rascal as his elder brothers.
Tim is the manlyest of man's, he has to add more power to everything, ie - there home garbage dissposal, even putting a jet eingin into his lawn mower (this was to race his arch rival Bob Vila
While Jill is at home taking care of the boys Tim is at work with his own cable show named Tool Time assisted by his friend Al, who time just cant help ripping into and is always the butt of Tim's jokes.

Advantages: Excellent value for money and thee greatest comedy Disadvantages: none
...HomeImprovement is Thee greatest comedy to hit our screens.
HomeImprovement is about the life of Tim Taylor (Tim Allen) and his family.
Tim Taylor has his own cable tv show called "Tool Time" which is co-hosted by his loyal friend Al Borland, who is always the butt of Tim's jokes. Tim is a mans man, on the show he builds his idea of the mans domain etc. ie the all mans bathroom with a Tv and a reclyning toilet seat. Tim has great ideas and can talk the talk when it comes to his building projects but more than usual he fails misserably when he has completed his tasks by him adding to much power or putting engines into things that just werent meant to be messed with. eg - puts a jet engine into a lawnmower (loses control due to high speed)
- adding more power to nearly all the household appliances.
Tim's lives with his wife Jill...
Advantages: It might entertain for about 10 seconds Disadvantages: Rubbish. Just rubbish.
...The rule for creating film and TV tie-ins, is (usually) to program a formulaic platform game. As a result, they all look and play much the same. It wouldn't surprise me if they were the same, just with slightly different graphics!
HomeImprovement is no different. Based upon the (also formulaic) US sitcom, it is a platform game. Hurrah. Take control of Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor as he works his way across TV studios (oh, how original!) looking for his tools, armed with some other tools. See how many game clichés he comes across as the game progresses.
Collect items which you lose when hit (Sonic). You can swing across gaps on a rope-thing (Batman, Bionic Commando). In fact, almost every part of the game has been 'borrowed' from somewhere else. The graphics look like they've been stolen from Global Gladiators for a start...
Advantages: Excellent highly defined display. Good for the price. Disadvantages: Can develop faults over time.
...Earlier this year, lacking the funds for a fancy flat screen TFT or LCD monitor to replace my 4 year old Dell monitor I decided to opt for the Relisys TE 770 model CRT model. Having never even heard of the brand name before, I was rather skeptical.
My sole reason for buying the TE 770 was that it was the only black monitor currently on offer in the shop, put simply I wanted my new monitor to compliment my other hardware components.
Setting the model up was quite easy, a power cable is supplied with the monitor, though you may need some help from another person when lifting the monitor onto a desk or workspace.
You do need to plug in two leads, the monitor's input cable, and the power cable. The input cable must be slotted into the American style 3 - pin slot in the back of your tower/ flat case unit.
The power cable has two ends...

Review of Relisys TE 770
Advantages: Good colour and texture, smells lovely, enhances colour Disadvantages: Expensive for what it does
...Seeing as my hair is now at the stage where it needs a complete rest from dyeing, I have been on the lookout for alternative ways of keeping my red colour a little bit longer. Therefore, when I saw The Big W had a sale on recently, I was happy to snap up this product for half price. (Expect to pay between £3 and £4 for a 250ml bottle normally.)
Te Tao has been a well-known range for quite a while now, but it wasn’t one I had ever tried, feeling the products were rather over-priced. They do a range of shampoos for various hair types (see www.tetao.com for further details) but this one caught my eye because it is a deep, dark orange-red colour and had the word ‘henna’ in it. As you probably know, henna has been used for centuries to dye hair in a more natural way than using bleaches and chemicals.

...Home Alone, was a classic hit comedy film that was first released in 1991. Even in my adulthood, I am more than happy to watch the film again, and when I was a kid I use to remember watching this film a hundred times during the Christmas holidays and summer holidays. It was such a feel good family fun film; it was the sort of film that even if you?ve watched it once you would never gets bored watching it over and over again.
Plot:
The film opens with the entire McCallister family packing for their Christmas vacation to France. The family is exceptionally big, some 30 plus including adults. Kevin McCallister the youngest in the family needs help packing his luggage, the older kids simply don?t have the time or the patience to help him, he feels left out and unwanted, just like most teenagers. A patrol police man Harry played by Joe...

Review of Home Alone (DVD)
Advantages: Will be great when its finished Disadvantages: Will it ever be finished?
...it is shaped like a wedge of cheese and painted yellow in case you are wondering). The floor space vanished the sofas disappeared but soon my living room was almost empty and ready to be attacked..
Off to B&Q again to get the emulsion paint.. One coat matt again and no it doesn't cover in one coat it does take 2 no matter what it's name implies.
Then off to Floors 2 Go to order the flooring and set up the fitting. Next hiccup. It can't be fitted until after I go back to work. Minor difficulty they arrive early in the morning and as my first appointment is at 10 am I can arrange to be at home to let them in and see them started.
Now if we remove the skirting boards ourselves it will save time and money so I promise they will be gone before the fitters arrive.
Now logic would suggest that it would be better to remove the skirting...
Advantages: Fun, educational, entertaining, hands on Disadvantages: Very big (can't see it all), can't take pictures of exhibits
...Te Papa Tongarewa museum ("Te Papa" or "Our Place" for short) is New Zealand's national museum and is right in the heart of Wellington next to the docks. If you only have time to visit one thing in Wellington, visit Te Papa. Many of the collections are online, so if you can't make it all the way to New Zealand, then have a look at the web pages instead. Originally dating from 1992 (or 1998 for the present incarnation in its iconic building), this is a modern museum suitable for children and adults alike and the exhibits are fun and often interactive, whilst still being educational.
Most of the exhibitions are free, but you pay if you want to go on a guided tour. Lifts going to every floor help with accessibility and are useful for everyone - the museum goes up to floor level 7, so we were quite worn out by the end of our trip...
Advantages: Lovely story, festive, well written Disadvantages: Short
...Alison Dunwoody thought she had it all - a great job, good salary and a great life in New York City. But when the recession hits, Alison is shocked to find that she's lost her job. She's too embarassed to tell her family, and instead decides to fly home to Ireland and have Christmas with her parents, sister and 3 gorgeous nieces. Alison loves the feeling of being back home, but misses her new friend Jack from New York - he knows about her job loss and she can confide in him. Will Alison be able to keep her secret away from her family for her holiday? Or is Coming Home exactly what Alison needs to make her feel happy again?
I have enjoyed a few Patricia Scanlan novels in the past, but I haven't read anything by her in a while now. I am a bit partial to anything festive so when I saw that her latest book was going to be based...
