Reviews of tea
Tea that does not exploit other people.
Review of Clipper Fair Trade Tea by
mumsymary
Advantages: Tea that does not exploit others
Disadvantages: none
...Fair tea
I usually buy leaf tea, but wanted to buy tea bags to take camping (they are easier when you are moving about). When in Tesco’s I bought a pkt of Clipper fair trade tea bags containing 80 tea bags.
These tea bags you prepare as you would any tea bag, pour boiling water onto the tea bag and let it infuse for 2 or 3 minutes. I prefer my tea very weak so only let it brew for a short time. They recommend 1 tea bag per person but since I, and my husband, drink very weak tea, I dip it in one cup and then dunk it in the other, or if I am using a pot use only 1 tea bag.
This tea is nice not too strong a delicious flavour nice and light not to heavy tasting strongly of tannin.
My husband drinks his black. The tea is a lovely golden colour. It can be used to prepare iced tea I have never done this.
Yes I like this blend tea I shall...

Tesco Premium Tea Bags
Review of Tesco Tea Bags by
dannyjb123
Advantages: cheap, make a good brew
Disadvantages: not spring to mind straight away
...Tesco Premium Tea bags are described on the packaging as being;
"A blend of quality teas for a full flavour and a naturally refreshing taste."
The tea has a flavour strength of 2 so according to the key on the pack this is a medium strength tea.
The product is contained in a simple red box which contains the tea bags themselves which are wrapped in foil, presumably to retain freshness.
The tea bags themselves are of the round variety. I personally prefer this type as you seem to get much more flavour from each bag than you can usually get out of a square tea bag.
I have found the tea to be tasty, refreshing and leaves no bitter aftertaste even when left in a pot for a long time.
As someone who likes their tea strong I would recommend that boiling water is poured slowly onto the tea bag to release the full flavour.
Overall...

A whole orchard in a little box!
Review of Jackson's of Piccadilly Green tea with apple by
gjid
Advantages: Caffiene free, low cal, great taste
Disadvantages: Probably expensive
...I received a small 5 tea bag box of this tea in a hamper at christmas so i have no idea how much these actually cost. They come in a box of 20 and I would expect them to be more expensive than your average box of green tea.
Green tea is very good for you as it contains those wonderful antioxidants but doesn't contain the caffiene found in normal tea.
Some people are put off green tea by the fact that it has quite a dirty taste so this is the perfect solution! The wonderful tang of apple compliments the green tea flavour and makes it palatable for everyone.
This tea is blended from the finest Chinese Green Tea which has been naturally fragranced with apple for the wonderful fresh taste.
The addition of apple makes this a perfect tea for those wanting to try green tea for the first time.
I love this as it is and take the tea bag out...

Squeeze those lemons!
Review of Lipton Ice Tea by
LIZKEMPO
Advantages: Tastes Good, Fresh and New !
Disadvantages: No good if you don't like lemons!
...Lipton Ice Tea: I have just realised that most of my op's are from the Ciao Café so I am going to attempt a review about a wonderful drink I tried the other day Lipton Ice Tea.
I do not drink tea or coffee; I normally just drink water throughout the day as I feel that fizzy drinks such as coke and 7-Up just don't quench my thrust. But at last I have discovered (Well not me personally) a great drink to help me through the day!
Lipton Ice Tea… I have to admit at first I did turn my nose up at it, I don't like tea and the thought of drinking cold tea was very unappealing! My friends assured me that it did not taste like tea at all so I decided to give it go, and it doesn't taste like tea! The taste is surprisingly refreshing, very much like traditional lemonade, it is nice to find a refreshing sill drink. Best served chilled with lots...

Ye Olde English Tea
Review of Yorkshire Tea by
rowei
Advantages: Nice blend of teas
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
...*History of the Company*
Yorkshire Tea is made by Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate. This is a family company which was started in 1886 by Charles Taylor. Since then, the brand has earned national and international acclaim for its quality teas.
*The Product*
Yorkshire Tea is blended in the company's Yorkshire Tea Hall in Harrogate. You can buy boxes of 40, 80, 160 and 240 tea bags, 250g drums of loose tea and even a hard water variety of tea bag.
The company sponsors the "Trees for Life" fund which raises money for new tree planting schemes in the UK and abroad. By buying Yorkshire Tea, you are helping with their £100 000 a year fund - a very worthwhile charity, I'm sure you will agree. Since 1990 they have planted over two million trees around the world, and they were recently awarded "The Queen's Award for Enterprise for Sustainable...

Green Tea, Healthy me.
Review of Jacksons Green Tea Bags, with Lemon by
cherry_drop1
Advantages: Healthy and yummy
Disadvantages: Smells better than it tastes
...Jacksons of Piccadilly Green Tea, delicately flavoured with lemon is described on the packaging to have a "refreshing taste" - and I agree. I have tried alot of green tea and now it is the only tea I drink, out of all those infused with lemon I rate this along with Clippers in the top 2.
Green tea originates in China and it was infact the first tea ever to be drunk! Infact, it was one of the first teas to be drunk in Britain aswell.
The difference between normal tea and green tea is the way it is processed - it is this that makes the tea green and gives the drink such a fresh flavour.
The main reason I started drinking green tea was for the health benefits - it is full of antioxidents which are thought to protect the body from "harmful free radicals" and have even been linked to protecting against cancer.
I chose green tea infused...
