Yorkshire Tea - Pricey but Nicey
Review of Yorkshire Tea by
jouk04
Advantages: Yorkshire Gold is the Best
Disadvantages: overpriced
...your details they will send you a free sample pack of their tea range for free, about six tea bags in all I think, and money off coupons off your next purchase. I can feel the warm glow of Yorkshire folk all over the county delighting in the news of summat for nowt. You can also buy the usual plethora of junk like Yorkshire tea teapots, tea towels, cups, mugs , key rings, doorstops and souvenirs printed with the Yorkshire Tea logo, if you’re keen on it. My self I think, I can manage without all the accessories. Any way I’ve got to go and feed the whippets, so mind how you go and I’ll have one if your making one....

●Tea Tree Oil●
Review of Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) by
JulyBunny
Advantages: Works on Almost Anything, Good Price and Lasts A Long Time
Disadvantages: Just the Packaging
...to the required area with a cotton bud.
It can also work on love bites. When people say put toothpaste onto a chewy to cool it down and ease the blood away from the skin, and then it hardly ever works – well Tea Tree works well on this.
I have also applied it to cuts, and yes, it does sting for a bit, but then after the stinging goes away, the cool feeling kicks in. It really cleans the cut and helps it to heal. You can dilute to water for this too, if you don’t want to apply it straight.
INHALATION:
You can add Tea Tree Oil to hot water and inhales the fumes. You can also apply to you pillow or your pyjamas before bed to help sleep and clear the mind.
I have always used steaming water and covered my head with a towel over the sink and let the steam go onto my skin. It really cleans your face and opens up your pores to help clear...

Just an old, unwanted tea towel
Review of Poetry for fun by
Snorelax63
Advantages: N/A
Disadvantages: N/A
...As part of our English course, we had to select a random object from within a carrier bag and write a poem personifying that object. Most of our group got interesting things, me... I got a tatty old tea towel. Here is the poem I submitted:
Just an old, unwanted, tea towel
--------------------------------------------
Edges fray, they say, with age
Well mine are fraying too.
In days gone by,
My hems were neat
But now…
They're tattered through
Colour fades, they say, with age
Well mine is fading too
There was a time,
I dried the pots
And now…
I wipe a shoe
Those were the days, they say, with age
Well those were my days too
I used to be put out to dry,
Yet now…
I seldom do.
And as my final days drew near…
My useful life all fin…
I found my final resting place
Was in a rubbish bin
<sigh>

Ye Olde English Tea
Review of Yorkshire Tea by
rowei
Advantages: Nice blend of teas
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
...for Sustainable Development".
You can also use the tokens on the boxes to collect Yorkshire Tea Gifts. If you collect enough, they'll send you a delicious Yorkshire Tea Loaf, a "Yorkshire Tea" Teapot or a Tea Towel.
*Product Packaging*
Yorkshire Tea comes in a secure cardboard box and is externally wrapped. The box itself depicts a scene reminiscent of Yorkshire through a nostalgic painting of the Dales and village cricket team. This is very enticing and encourages you to pick up the box and take a closer look.
*Smell and Taste*
Yorkshire Tea is a rich, refreshing tea with a smell of its own. A blend of some of the world's finest teas from countries such as India, Sri Lanka and Africa are used to create a truly unique taste. Its subtle blend of malty teas and brisk flavours makes it very appealing to all palates.
*Value for Money...

A special tea party courtesy of the ELC
Review of Toy Tea Sets by
sandemp
Advantages: Fun way to help your child develop their social skills
Disadvantages: The cutlery is starting to look a bit chewed
...it cost us about £10. Looking on the ELC website I can see that they still sell an almost identical set, with a change in colours for exactly the same price, now that's what I call value.
~~~A few extras~~~
Now my children have a few extras (just to help their play along a bit), these include some play food, an old (clean) washing up bowl and a tea towel. You don't actually need any of this, but it just adds to the play value.
~~~Playing at parties~~~
Now my younger children simply love playing at tea parties, but little do they realise that I have ulterior motives in starting these little games off. You see Michael is on the autistic spectrum, and he finds all social interaction difficult, but has particular problems with mealtimes. So these games are a great opportunity to help him learn the skills he needs to cope with mealtimes...

Throw away the tea towel
Review of Indesit DI67 by
Bigbaz
Advantages: No more drying up,
Disadvantages: Has to be loaded and unloaded by hand
...I hate DIY, I also hate washing up, or in my case drying up. You see my wife could never see the logic of allowing the crocks to dry naturally on the draining board, so every night we had three or four soggy tea towels which had to be washed, more work you see.
Now when she suggested a trip to the shops to look at dishwashers I was not adverse to going, normally vacuum cleaners and washers leave me cold but here was something that maybe I could enjoy.
We had limited space available to install it so we were presented with two options at Currys a slim line model or a bench top model which was far to small for us. We also checked Comet who had neither, so it was back to Currys where we purchased the Indesit DG 6145 which fitted easily into my car so saving delivery costs.
Installation was a breeze after finding the necessary...

FREE BISCUITS FROM YORKSHIRE TEA
Review of Yorkshire Tea Biscuits by
dabmim
Advantages: Yummy, moorish,
Disadvantages: Lack of availability
...There was I alone on a hot summer’s day and feeling shaky! Testing my blood sugars revealed that they had dropped to 4.1mmol and I was starting the signs of a hypoglycaemic attack. Knowing I needed sugar, but hating drinking sugared drinks I rummaged through our cupboards and found a packet of Yorkshire Tea Biscuits, they were covered with sugar so I thought get a nice cup of tea and settle down with them both, and then thoughts of something I hadn’t done for ages came into my head – dunking!
I got my biscuits for FREE, yes that was correct I said FREE. Yorkshire tea bags have a little token on them, and if you collect those tokens you can send off for various items including their (not so good) tea cake, toy vehicles, tea towels and of course these biscuits.
The packet is decorative enough with the Yorkshire tea logo and the word...

Enjoy Afternoon Tea at Polly's
Review of The Polly Tea Rooms by
Katieshaz
Advantages: Great food, lots of variety, lovely staff
Disadvantages: Perhaps a little pricey
...they serve. When I was a little girl I really wanted to be a Polly's waitress because of the pretty flower patterned dresses and aprons they wore and because of how friendly they were! The service can be a little slow as Polly's can get very busy, it has been known for customers to queue up outside.
The loos:
No complaints here, the loos are always spotlessly clean and well stocked with soap, towels and loo roll.
The bottom line:
The Polly Tea Rooms are great! A little pricey perhaps but you are paying for excellent food and drink. I must get round to trying the Salisbury and Cirencester branches but I have high hopes that they are every bit as good as the Marlborough tea rooms.

One two three cleanse and tone with tea tree
Review of Avon Tea Tree 3 in 1 Cleanser by
vickiuk
Advantages: Removes makeup so easily.
Disadvantages: None that I have found
...apply the lotion with your hands, then using circular movements I cleanse my face, paying particular attention to the eye area, when finished cleansing I rinse thoroughly with warm water then pat my face dry using a soft towel.
The benefits.
-------------------
Eye makeup can be removed with ease and you don't waste time going through a whole rigmarole of having to use makeup remover, cleansing lotion and toner. The tea tree is known for it's healing and antiseptic properties which can help to eliminate spots, it doesn't cause the skin to dry out or breakout in spots, it has a moisturizing effect, It's a great price and it lasts for about two months if using morning and night.
Conclusion.
-----------------
The lotion is very easy to apply, easy to dispense from the tube, it doesn't sting if it gets into your eyes, it is very...

Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Shampoo by
helensahl
Advantages: Leaves hair and scalp feeling thoroughly clean, soft and shiny hair.
Disadvantages: Initially quite a strong smell.
...For the last two years I have had problems using various hair care products. I already have intolerances to many foods and various household products. But went on to develop an intolerance to the hair care products I was using. I constantly had a very itchy scalp and my hair was not in very good condition.
On the reccomendation of my nutritionist, I decided to try the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil shampoo, initially buying the smallest bottle, to ensure it suited me.

The shampoo come in three sizes, small, medium 500ml and large 1000ml. (Although I have only been able to obtain the large size in the factory shop).
