I bought the shampoo when I was suffering from itchyness and flakiness last winter and even head and shoulders didnt seem to cure it. I know tea tree is an antibacterial and lavender is oil balancing so i decided paul mitchell's tea tree range is the best for me. The main detergent is ammonium laureth sulphate which is very strong detergent and can on very sensitive scalps cause tightness, dryness and irritation - another group of people I would ask to avoid the range. Havig said that, aside from a little tightness on my scalp it was left very well cleansed and the most amazing thing was tht it left my hair feeling like silk and very very shiny.. in fact i barely needed to use conditioner after shampooing as it left it tangle free and soft...
