Tea Tree Oil The eighth wonder of the world
Review of Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil by
MagicWend
Advantages: Multiskilling.
Disadvantages: Price
...The Eighth Wonder of the World.
Yes another over the top description of a product, that probably most of you haven’t even heard of! Tea Tree Oil, otherwise known as Melaleuca Alternifolia, is an underrated marvel of today’s world. It’s a shrub native to Australia, which, for thousands of years, was made into poultices and suchlike, by the Aborigines, for the purposes of healing wounds and other skin conditions.
Nowadays however, you just pop to Superdrug, or QVC if you want a bargain in the old Tea Tree Oil department. One 25ml bottle contains the equivalent of four, 18
month old Tea Trees, which have been processed by steam distillation to remove the essential oil.
Several companies manufacture Tea Tree Oil, but I like Australian Bodycare best, as it is 100% pure Melaleuca Alternifolia, and they have huge...

Stick to pure tea tree oil and save your face
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Scrub by
cladach29
Advantages: Nice smell, nice packaging
Disadvantages: Poor exfoliator, expensive
...---Introduction---
I must admit to only buying this product once (so you can probably guess my feelings about it). This was in Australia a couple of years ago when the heat and humidity gave me a few skin problems. Thinking that a combination of tea tree oil and exfoliation would be good for a few spots, I tried this product for a few weeks.
---Packaging---
The product comes in a clear plastic tube, through which you can see the product. Tube has a black label on the front and is marked with a logo specific for tea tree oil products.
---Product appearance---
Green coloured, grainy paste which gives a light foam on mixing with water and applying the face. Nice aroma of tea tree which isn't too overpowering.
---Application/Effectiveness---
Although I quite enjoyed using this product and the way it made my skin feel...

Tea Tree Oil vs Lavender Oil
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash by
whoareyou5
Advantages: It works
Disadvantages: Does sting slightly on broken skin
...Acne solutions. Basically, I occasionally get a bit of acne, as most teenagers do. Not very bad acne, but just a bit every week or two, especially if I'm a bit ill, or if I've had too many late nights. Having looked at all the treatments, from facial scrubs, too eating less fatty foods etc, the best solution seems to be to apply neat Tea tree oil to the specific areas. This is supposedly meant to seep into the skin and disinfect any bacteria that would result in a spot, blackhead or whitehead. In the same article which I read, it also said that Lavender Oil did a similar trick. I therefore used these, and tried them both out, usually alternating the two. It did have a noticable affect but I found the Tea Tree oil to be slightly better. It wasn't as 'harsh' on my skin, and for some reason I got it into my head that this was better...

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Shampoo
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Shampoo by
helensahl
Advantages: Leaves hair and scalp feeling thoroughly clean, soft and shiny hair.
Disadvantages: Initially quite a strong smell.
...For the last two years I have had problems using various hair care products. I already have intolerances to many foods and various household products. But went on to develop an intolerance to the hair care products I was using. I constantly had a very itchy scalp and my hair was not in very good condition.
On the reccomendation of my nutritionist, I decided to try the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil shampoo, initially buying the smallest bottle, to ensure it suited me.
SIZES AVAILABLE
The shampoo come in three sizes, small, medium 500ml and large 1000ml. (Although I have only been able to obtain the large size in the factory shop).
PACKAGING
As with all the Body Shop products it comes in a plain basic bottle, with a flip top lid. The usual label with ingredients, the Body Shop logo and instructions on use.
You do...

Tea Tree Oil Face Mask: Terrific!!
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Face Mask by
louxlou1
Advantages: works wonders!!
Disadvantages: can't think of any!!
...My sister bought me The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Face Mask for Christmas, and I admit that it was one of the most satisfying beauty products that I recieved this year. The 100ml pot, a squashed cylindrical shape, is peppermint green in colour with a black lid. The instructions for use can be found on the underside of the pot.
This clay-based face mask is designed for normal, oily or blemished skin. I have found that it works really well on my face because my skin is not the same all over, meaning that some parts are oily, another has blemishes, and the rest is normal. An improvement in my overall complexion can be seen immediately after I remove the mask.
The mask is easy to use (probably very similar to most face masks.) Just smooth onto your face and neck after cleansing (avoiding lip and eye area) and leave it for ten...
