Tea Tree Oil Face Mask: Terrific!!
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Face Mask by  louxlou1

Advantages: works wonders!!
Disadvantages: can't think of any!!

...My sister bought me The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Face Mask for Christmas, and I admit that it was one of the most satisfying beauty products that I recieved this year. The 100ml pot, a squashed cylindrical shape, is peppermint green in colour with a black lid. The instructions for use can be found on the underside of the pot. This clay-based face mask is designed for normal, oily or blemished skin. I have found that it works really well on my face because my skin is not the same all over, meaning that some parts are oily, another has blemishes, and the rest is normal. An improvement in my overall complexion can be seen immediately after I remove the mask. The mask is easy to use (probably very similar to most face masks.) Just smooth onto your face and neck after cleansing (avoiding lip and eye area) and leave it for ten... Read review

Stick to pure tea tree oil and save your face
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Scrub by  cladach29

Advantages: Nice smell, nice packaging
Disadvantages: Poor exfoliator, expensive

...---Introduction--- I must admit to only buying this product once (so you can probably guess my feelings about it). This was in Australia a couple of years ago when the heat and humidity gave me a few skin problems. Thinking that a combination of tea tree oil and exfoliation would be good for a few spots, I tried this product for a few weeks. ---Packaging--- The product comes in a clear plastic tube, through which you can see the product. Tube has a black label on the front and is marked with a logo specific for tea tree oil products. ---Product appearance--- Green coloured, grainy paste which gives a light foam on mixing with water and applying the face. Nice aroma of tea tree which isn't too overpowering. ---Application/Effectiveness--- Although I quite enjoyed using this product and the way it made my skin feel... Read review

●Tea Tree Oil●
Review of Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) by  JulyBunny

Advantages: Works on Almost Anything, Good Price and Lasts A Long Time
Disadvantages: Just the Packaging

...to the required area with a cotton bud. It can also work on love bites. When people say put toothpaste onto a chewy to cool it down and ease the blood away from the skin, and then it hardly ever works – well Tea Tree works well on this. I have also applied it to cuts, and yes, it does sting for a bit, but then after the stinging goes away, the cool feeling kicks in. It really cleans the cut and helps it to heal. You can dilute to water for this too, if you don’t want to apply it straight. INHALATION: You can add Tea Tree Oil to hot water and inhales the fumes. You can also apply to you pillow or your pyjamas before bed to help sleep and clear the mind. I have always used steaming water and covered my head with a towel over the sink and let the steam go onto my skin. It really cleans your face and opens up your pores to help clear... Read review

Tea Tree Oil The eighth wonder of the world
Review of Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil by  MagicWend

Advantages: Multiskilling.
Disadvantages: Price

...The Eighth Wonder of the World. Yes another over the top description of a product, that probably most of you haven’t even heard of! Tea Tree Oil, otherwise known as Melaleuca Alternifolia, is an underrated marvel of today’s world. It’s a shrub native to Australia, which, for thousands of years, was made into poultices and suchlike, by the Aborigines, for the purposes of healing wounds and other skin conditions. Nowadays however, you just pop to Superdrug, or QVC if you want a bargain in the old Tea Tree Oil department. One 25ml bottle contains the equivalent of four, 18 month old Tea Trees, which have been processed by steam distillation to remove the essential oil. Several companies manufacture Tea Tree Oil, but I like Australian Bodycare best, as it is 100% pure Melaleuca Alternifolia, and they have huge... Read review

Tea Tree Oil vs Lavender Oil
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash by  whoareyou5

Advantages: It works
Disadvantages: Does sting slightly on broken skin

...Acne solutions. Basically, I occasionally get a bit of acne, as most teenagers do. Not very bad acne, but just a bit every week or two, especially if I'm a bit ill, or if I've had too many late nights. Having looked at all the treatments, from facial scrubs, too eating less fatty foods etc, the best solution seems to be to apply neat Tea tree oil to the specific areas. This is supposedly meant to seep into the skin and disinfect any bacteria that would result in a spot, blackhead or whitehead. In the same article which I read, it also said that Lavender Oil did a similar trick. I therefore used these, and tried them both out, usually alternating the two. It did have a noticable affect but I found the Tea Tree oil to be slightly better. It wasn't as 'harsh' on my skin, and for some reason I got it into my head that this was better... Read review

Free uses Tea Tree you see
Review of Radox Tea Tree Oil 100% Essential Oil by  freespirit1402

Advantages: Excellent all rounder, nice smell
Disadvantages: None

...extreme caution in this use as any sort of essential oil is to be avoided around the eyes but for other piercing sites (except possibly those of a sensitive nature or around mucous membranes such a nose or mouth) such as ears or stomach it may be beneficial. Once my piercing healed more and I could take it out I would simply dip the whole piercing in the oil before reinserting it. On other medical uses if you have nail infections you can rub the oil on twice a day and if you have a fungal infection such as athletes foot use the oil directly on the area or use up to twenty drops in a basin of warm water as a foot bath before direct application. If you have acne you may benefit from a solution containing tea tree oil as I did when I first used the facial scrub which after each use left my face feeling smooth and clean and refreshed... Desert Essence Face Wash
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Foam Face Wash by  MariaGL

Advantages: The right bit of moisturizing, and astringient qualities alike
Disadvantages: expensive -around$6- for 4fl.oz, but it lasts....

...I've been using this product now for about one year, and it's my steadfast face 'soap'. It's full name is: Thoroughly Clean FACE WASH with Tea Tree Oil and Awapuhi. The company name is actually Desert Essence. Anyway, I discovered it after finding my other, different product wasn't doing the trick anymore. For those of us who have combination skin, but, maybe a little oily at times, and have drier patches too - this is great. Do you ever have the immunity problem? Like when you wash your face with the same product, and, after a while it just doesn't work anymore? Like your skin has built up an immunity? This product will not do that. It refreshes every time. It's excellent in winter, because Tea Tree Oil is, in fact, an 'oil' - but it's also very refreshing in summer months when you need a truly refreshing, cleansed feeling,- tea tree... Read review

Wow - The best face cleaner ever
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Foam Face Wash by  thisnamesux

Advantages: Spot free skin
Disadvantages: Prolonged use makes skin dry

...This face cleanser is the best on the market! Tea tree oil is the best stuff for combatting spots. I used to use stuff like Clearasil etc... but then I found Tea Tree oil. Wow - combats spots like nothing else!!! I'm 15 years old, and had trouble with spots, now I hardly get any! I also use it to clean my piercing (eyebrow) which is great! The anti bacterial properties of it make it an excellent facial cleanser, and piercing cleanser (i also use hydrogen peroxide 6% aswell as tea tree oil on my eyebrow) The only downer on this product is that prolonged usage of it makes your skin feel dry. But at least there are no spots ;) The way I use it, is to squirt a load on a flannel, then scrub it into my skin, to remove all dirt and grime. One bottle lasts about 6 - 10 weeks for me.... The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Shampoo
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Shampoo by  helensahl

Advantages: Leaves hair and scalp feeling thoroughly clean, soft and shiny hair.
Disadvantages: Initially quite a strong smell.

...For the last two years I have had problems using various hair care products. I already have intolerances to many foods and various household products. But went on to develop an intolerance to the hair care products I was using. I constantly had a very itchy scalp and my hair was not in very good condition. On the reccomendation of my nutritionist, I decided to try the Body Shop Tea Tree Oil shampoo, initially buying the smallest bottle, to ensure it suited me. SIZES AVAILABLE The shampoo come in three sizes, small, medium 500ml and large 1000ml. (Although I have only been able to obtain the large size in the factory shop). PACKAGING As with all the Body Shop products it comes in a plain basic bottle, with a flip top lid. The usual label with ingredients, the Body Shop logo and instructions on use. You do...
