My Favourite Fruit teabags
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Apple Bliss Teabags by  Rosassnaps

Advantages: Very healthy drink, and caffeine free.
Disadvantages: None. Maybe more expensive than normal tea.

...Have you ever tried a different way of drinking tea? Do you think that you take in too much caffeine during the day? I know that there are de-caffeinated teabags available, but I would like to tell you about some delicious Fruit Teabags, which are absolutely caffeine free. THE LONDON FRUIT & HERB COMPANY make a large variety of fruit teabags, which are naturally caffeine free. They are also free from artificial preservatives and free from artificial colours. Each bag contains: just 4 calories; a trace of protein; 1.0g of carbohydrate, of which sugars are 0.4g; a trace of fat; a trace of fibre and 0.1g of sodium. I have always drunk the traditional English tea, ever since I was very young, although I would never have sugar in it (weird really, as I have a very sweet tooth). Before I could explain things properly, I... Read review

Review of Twinings Wild Blackberry and Nettle herbal teabags by  Jeser

Advantages: Greatly refreshing beverage for any time of day and cheap to buy
Disadvantages: Only available in limited healthshops

...Twinings also make a herbal tea called Wild Blackberry and Nettle and it tastes great and revitalising! The following features of the product are as follows: *PACKAGING, COST AND APPEARANCE* The Twinings Wild Blackberry and Nettle herbal teabags come in a blackberry coloured strong cardboard box with a picture of blackberries and green leaves at the front of the box with The Twinings gold Logo saying underneath the logo WILD BLACKBERRY AND NETTLE 20 herbal infusions as each pack has 20 teabags in. They cost an average of £1.09 per box. *TASTE AND HOW TO BREW FOR BEST RESULTS* I have found that they have a very refreshing, relaxing and revitalising taste and aroma of Wild Blackberries and Nettles combined to give the unique autumn taste that relaxes you as I always purchase this blend Make with freshly boiled water... It Would Make Grannie Grimace and Giggle
Review of Sainsbury's Basics Teabags by  suesie

Advantages: Very cheap
Disadvantages: Too weak to call tea!

...I remember my Grandma serving tea when I was very young,. There were no teabags in those days and the leaf tea would be spooned into the brown earthenware teapot, one spoonful per person and one for the pot! The pot would then be encased in its knitted, pompom-topped cosy whilst the tea was left to "draw". After an appropriate time lapse, the steaming brown brew would be poured into delicate flowery china cups with matching saucers. Most of the time all was well and Grandpa would compliment her on a 'lovely cuppa' but now and again, Gran would study the result of her labours, furrow her brow and proclaim, "Gnats!" and I somehow knew all was not well. She would then cast her eyes to the floor, clasp a hand over her mouth and giggle like a teenager. When I was adjudged old enough, my mother explained to me that my Gran's utterance... Read review

Fancy a brew, it solves everything...
Review of Tetley Decaffeinated Teabags by  kamallan

Advantages: Better for your health...
Disadvantages: Costs a little more, always the way...

...unless I am out in a pub or round town with my mates, the worst thing that I took into my body on a daily basis (I won't remind you and myself that I have had a dirty habit of smoking here) was caffeine. Now as I am phobic of anything proclaiming less fat and dieters dreams and all the rest of the things that are meant to mean healthy. I have feelings that the majority aren't, they are simply good marketing where the sugar/fat is replaced by other things and it isn't really any better for you despite tasting worse. So it was with trepidation that I started to look in Morrison's at the array of teabags, looking for healthier alternatives to Tetley caffeinated teabags. To my surprise there were hardly any! I turned around and sure enough the coffee behind me proclaimed that some were decaf, half caf, caf with smooth beans or sharp beans and I... Read review

Some people find life stimulating enough.
Review of Tetley Decaffeinated Teabags by  MandyMinx

Advantages: A great way to cut back on that caffeine intake.
Disadvantages: More expensive than the ones with the caffeine

...teabags a go. A little bit of background as you sip your tea! -------------------------------------------------------------- Did you know that Tetley introduced their first t-bag to us back in 1953.Since then there have been various changes in the shape and the size of the bags to try and improve the taste of the tea. These have included square, round and even pyramid shapes, but I dont think they ever really caught on. In my opinion there isnt much difference, but where would we be without the humble tea bag. I remember as a child my nan would make me a cup of tea, made in the pot, with an old fashioned tea strainer.I remember reaching the bottom of the cup and accidentally swallowing a mouthful of those nasty black tea leaves and vowing never to drink tea again. The packaging. -------------------- Tetley's Decaf tea... Read review

Polo Flavoured Tea??????
Review of Twinings Pure Peppermint Teabags by  catrinaf

Advantages: Great for indigestion
Disadvantages: None

...For those of you that have read my other reviews, you will have seen that I suffer quite badly from heartburn and indigestion. Somebody told me that if you keep taking indigestion remedies, your body starts to become immune to them (I don't know how true this is). I had heard that Peppermint tea is for indigestion so decided to give it a try. **What is it* * Tea made with pure Peppermint leaves. Peppermint is known to aid digestion and helps ease upset stomachs and indigestion. **Packaging** I normally buy a box of 40 teabags. This is a small rectangular green cardboard box. On the front is a picture of Peppermint leaves with 'Twinings Infusions Pure Peppermint Teabags' written above in large print. There is a strip of cardboard around the middle of the box, which must be removed so that the box can be opened... Read review

Getting steamed-up over a cheeky little bag!
Review of Co-op 99 Tea-bags by  SkyPhoenix

Advantages: Flavoursome at excellent value.
Disadvantages: None

...My eager fingers peel away the thin cellophane packaging, it is thin and soft to the touch. I can hardly wait, I have been absolutely desperate for this moment all morning. I am addicted to you I murmour, as I slide back the sheath of cardboard and open the box. I remove one teabag and one teabag only, no time to decant the excess into a caddy. The kettle bubbles and reaches its boiling climax. Steam pours from its spout and errupts spitting small globules of very hot water into the air. I pour the bubbling water onto the neat circular cheeky looking bag. Within a few minutes, I douse the tea with fresh creamy milk. It tastes, oooh, simply divine! <<You are probably wondering how can I experience this tea-bag ? Well this tea-bag can be experienced by purchasing a box from you local Co-op store. The packaging... Organic Relaxation from M&S!
Review of Marks and Spencer Organic Camomile, Limeflower and Lavender Teabags by  donnabroom

Advantages: Delicious, refreshing and relaxing. Beautiful packaging.
Disadvantages: Not everyone will like them.

...I am a huge fan of camomile tea. I know a lot people don't like it but I enjoy the flavour and I find it really relaxing. I also love Marks and Spencers. Again I know they have fallen out of favour with lots of people but in my opinion their food is beyond compare. Whenever I go to M&S I always spend far too much money on luxury food and last time I was there I treated myself to some herbal tea. It was on offer at the time and I got 2 boxes of 20 organic teabags, (30g), for £1.50, so I got a box of camomile and a box of camomile, limeflower and lavender. The camomile, limeflower and lavender teabags come in a very pretty box. The box is various shades of lilac and purple with a picture featuring a limeflower, a camomile flower and some lavender. The box bears the Organic logo, (I am not sure if this is M&S's own logo for organic... Read review

Healing Minty Deliciousness In A Bag.
Review of Twinings Pure Peppermint Teabags by  cherwaite

Advantages: Tastes Great, Eases Inflammation,Cheap,Healing Properties
Disadvantages: Bags Sometimes Burst, Smell Isnt to Everyones Liking.

...tac, this daunted me. I sauntered down to the local Holland and Barrats and ventured down the Peppermint aisle. Twinings was the most reputable and trusted brand on the shelf that I was aware of and I was drawn to it straight away. The Packaging... Is sturdy, quality and effectively does its job. That being to hold 20 teabags. Some have it easy dont they. In a light green colour ~ resembling peppermint perchance, there is a picture of a peppermint leaf on the front. The words 'Classical herbal Infusions Pure Peppermint' are placed above this with the Twinings logo at the very top. To open the box you have to pull a strip at the side of the box which slowly unravels to the top and gives way so the box can open book like. Its very simplistic and easy. I see no way in which anyone could get confused or struggle to do this. At the back... Read review
