clear and powerfull sound, low power usage, great looks

can be a bit bright sounding sometimes

...the way normal dials do 0 IS VERY LOUD and 88 is the quietest setting! the remote it mainly designed for the complete Teac system ie with the matching CD player and tuner ect.. so if your just buying the amp like I did then most of the buttons are redundant. Id recommenced this to anyone if you happen to spot this little gem....

Compact, yet Powerful


...(Bose Acoustimass 5) I would be better off with the Teac CRL600 with a higher wattage. I hesitated as I had no info on this model, but decided to go with it when he assured me if I wasnt happy I could return it within 14days. I plugged it all in at home and WOW I was very impressed. Far superior than my stacking ugly system. This unit sits beneath my tv ontop of the DVD player and looks well at home...

...sold me it as he got him self a techinics. The A-h500 is part of teac reference series amps that provide better then high end performance without a planetary price tag, It provides 50w in to 8ohms or 80w in to 4ohms so its plenty powerful for most speakers. it has six inputs (including phono for record players) and comes with a remote. Its build quality is excellent with a all aluminium chassis...
