...the car door I was amazed at its TARDIS like interior, I sat in the drivers seat and pushed it back and realised that my search was over. At this point the sales man was getting very excited, after all he was about to earn his commission from a women who's most technical question was 'do you think it's easy to park?' Everything I have said so far is a bit tongue in cheek although all true. More seriously, the interior of the car is super. It's not quite the bridge of the Enterprise but the speedometer is really groovy with 2 inch high digits and the instrument panel leaves nothing to chance with all it's little symbols making sure you have to guess at nothing. This car deserves a reward for ergonomics, there is no fumbling behind the gear stick to turn on your de-mister or switch the radio on, which has controls on the steering column... Read review

...This is the car that i learned to drive in, and so, for me i will always have fond memories of it. It is a small but compact four door car that is quite spacious for four people although five can be squeezed in. It is a really fun car to drive because it is small and nippy! It's also a great car to learn in because it has a forgiving clutch and is easy to manouver. So onto some more technical stuff, this car has a i-DSI engine, to be honest i don't know the specific implications of this but the result is that you can drive 450 miles on one tank of fuel! wow! For safety the jazz has anti-locking breaks, head restraints and of course all-important seat belts- super! Furthermore Honda has done it's best to make the car as roomy as possible. ...Before I start this opinion I want to make it clear that this is NOT a technical ‘car’ opinion. I don’t drive and I have minimal knowledge of the workings of the humble motorcar, so this one is written strictly from the passenger’s point of view! I’ll begin at the beginning, always a good place to start don’t you think? Dave, my partner, works for a firm who provide him with a company car and his was due for renewal. We discussed the options within the price range and decided that the Zafira was the one for us since we have my parents living with us and we needed a vehicle which had four easy to board, comfortable seats. Dave’s firm initially said that he couldn’t have an MPV despite it being cheaper than some of the cars they were offering but we put up a fight and eventually got what we wanted and we are SO glad that we did... Excellent technical service, less pleased about the wait. - Experiences: Back on the M1: Electrics (2) - Shuttling north on the M1 one evening in January 2005, I was horrified to see - yet again - my lights dim, my petrol gauge drop, and my car slump into hibernation. Stranded on the hard shoulder near J24, I rang the RAC yet again. As it was winter and I was a woman alone on a busy motorway, I expected a short wait. I didn't get it. It was a long hour before the orange truck rolled up, the RAC man hopped out, and I once again found myself explaining about my horrible, horrible car. Obviously I was disappointed by this, not to mention somewhat upset to find myself sitting alone at the side of the motorway on a dark night. This time, no amount of persuasion could coax... ...is a bit of a no no. You can opt for changing the gears yourself or letting an automatic 5 speed unit do the work for you. It also boasts descent control for your hill falling and twin airbags. Add to this a set of Twin Alloy 16 inch Wheels and you have a sexy looking car. Build quality...Hmm... Not as rigid as the Other marques in the fleet. Then again, it more of a car than a traditional Land Rover. One of my pet design projects at work is the design and maintenance of the Land Rover Technical Hotline for Germany. This system is only in its infancy at the moment but here is what it is for. Dealers ring up and report faults found in their Land Rovers that they have either: a) Never seen before b) Have no solution to The Technical Hotline is then able to advise the dealer what the problem could be and a possible solution... ...Introduction ---------------- In 2003 I took the option to opt out of our company car scheme and use an allowance to purchase my own vehicle. I bought a Vauxhall Zafira Elegance 2.0 DTi from new in July 2003. This was the top of the range diesel and I added to it Vauxhall's Technical pack, Winter Pack and Climate Control. Vauxhall of course are part of the American General Motors (GM) Company and you can find the occasional GM sticker on it. Other parts of the world know them as Opel. The Zafira is generally classed as a mini MPV, it's essentially based on the Astra (old model now) floorplan and is a bit like an Astra estate that's been stretched upwards. There are a lot of mini MPVs on the market now but the Zafira is (certainly was) one of the few to fit a third row of seats into this space. I'm sorry but a vehicle... Read review
