...Technics. Ask most DJs what there dream is and somewhere along the line it will involve Technics. The SL1210MK2 is the industry standard record deck, for a very good reason. They have excellent build quality and will survive even the toughest tests, essential for club use. The tonearm assembly is of the highest quality and as a result the sound output is beautiful. The direct drive motor has high torque and will start almost instantly and stop just as quickly. Technics decks are the most reliable and nicest feeling record decks I have ever used. Everything on them feels like quality, and is. Because of the relatively high price, these are probably not the best choice for amature DJs, although there is nobody who these won't be suited to these. Any type of mixing is possible.... ...Ahh, Technics SL1210 MK2 decks are a delight in themsleves, and proof that some things in life DO stand the test of time!! The Sleek Black casings, the silver pop up light, the black and silver feet, oohh it oozes class!! Not only are SL1210 MK2's the most technically accurate turntables, with the most amazing pitch control, they are very hardwearing, a friend of mines got tossed out of a 6th floor window in an emergency situation (!) and survived, well the covers never, but they still work a treat and thats the main thing. If you dont abuse your decks, look after the covers, maintain your needles regularly and keep the boxes, they will hold their retail value exceptionally well if you ever decide to sell them (though why would is beyond me!!) Technics are still the DJ's number one choice, but i do understand people who cannot afford... Read review

...Many decks claim to be better than the industry standard-the Technics SL1210 or SL1200-but none, in my opinion, come close. These are the best selling decks there are, so surely that shows how good they are. With +/-8% pitch, and very quick start up times, no wonder nearly all top DJs choose Technics as their weapon. The Technics decks have been around for years, but still look ready for business. Although there is no difference performance wise, I prefer the Technics 1200s to the 1210s. With their sexy silver finish and retro look, these decks would look at home anywhere, not just in the big clubs. Most of the cheaper decks copy the same layout as the 1200s and 1210s, which has now become the industry standard layout, though they cannot match their performance. ...Technics 1200 / 1210 what more can you say its the number one DJ turntable on the planet. For years and years when i was younger just geting in to Djing all i wanted was a pair of technics. after a few years with other direct drive decks i finally saved enough money to buy a pair i of technics, i bought the SL1200Mk2 because they were silver i did not like the brown of the 1210 much. i have read around and talked to people and aparently the only difference between the 1200 and the 1210 is the colour. I set up my new 1200s and got the tunes out. Wow what a turntable, after years of trying out all other types of direct drive turntables i could instantly see and feel the difference in build quality. the technics weight alot compared to any other turntable, this is because the bottom black base you see is not made of cheap moulded plastic... Advantages: Great Wrestler with a future

...Dean Malenko, also known as the iceman when he was in the WCW, is another of those that Vinnie Mac has managed to successfully lure away from Ted Turner’s empire. He is without a doubt a fantastic technical wrestler, superior in my opinion even to the great Chris Benoit who is currently being billed in the WWF as the most talented technical wrestler ever. This is not a good situation for Malenko because due to his lack of gimmick, he needs to have this sort of niche open to him, and a run with Benoit or even Y2J would be very useful – these 3 in a triple threat match would be superb undoubtedly.... Advantages: Optical outs, headphone outs, all the things you need on a CD player
Disadvantages: Not as reliable on damaged CDs

...I purchased two of these to replace ageing Technics SL-PG470s, and they boast several features not seen on the 470. These have optical outputs, which considering how easy it is to add, no CD player should be sold without. Thet also have headphone sockets on the front with a volume control. However, we have noticed that with several scratched and damaged CDs which the 470s could read perfectly, the 590 is not nearly so forgiving. I'm not sure that the 590 is better than its predecessor - some good points but may be outweighed by the bad points.... Read review

...Buying a Gateway PC turned out to be a huge mistake. I bought a lifetime technical support plan with it but when I needed technical support, I couldn't get it even though I was paying for it. I had to call several times about problems I was experiencing and, each time, the person who I talked had absolutely no idea what they were talking about and then said, "Let me transfer you to someone who really knows that they are talking about." When I was transferred, the first thing they asked me for was a credit card number. They were going to charge me some ungodly fee per minute for technical support. This same exact scenario happened each time I called Gateway Technical support. Advantages: Tough

...What can I say! He is probably one of the tougthest, meanist and strongest wrestlers going. In the last year I believe his career has improved emmensly. The way he took the hardcore championship earlyer this year from his cousin Crash was out of this world. He is also one of the most technicly sound wrestlers aswell with his superb drop kick. Recently he was voted the toughest wrestler in WWF magazine. At this present time he is injured but I believe he'll come back stronger than he has ever been! so watch out KURT ANGLE!... Read review
