...Me and my boyfriend received this for Christmas from my parents. We tried to make it together doing different parts, but since you have to follow the instructions very carefully and do one step after another this was not really working, so I just had to sit next to my boyfriend and watch while he did it! My mum got this from John Lewis for £49.99 but it is also available from the Lego website for the same price. I have also seen Lego Technic available in Toys'R'Us so it is not hard to get a hold of. Lego Technic looks quite different from the 'normal' Lego that we all know. The parts are smaller than the normal lego bricks. It is like a more 'grown up' lego. Gotta Love Technics!

Advantages: Build quality.
Disadvantages: Would be good to have a wider pitch range.

...This is yet another update to the industry standard direct drive Technics SL1200 turntable. To be honest, this is not massively different to the M3 edition, the most noticeable difference is the white LED light and the anti-skate control (which I never adjust anyway). As with all Technics, this plays records at either 33 or 45 rpm and you have the option to select the speed between -8% and +8%. This turntable also has the 'pitch reset' button which, if pressed, ignores the pitch selected on the fader and plays the record as if at 0%. A nice feature, although I hardly use it. Putting the cartridge and stylus together was a tricky job but these things always are. Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive

Advantages: Lots of space for all your gaming needs.
Disadvantages: Price, Dust, Missing GB

...My personal experience with the Xbox 360 hard drive has been fairly positive. The ability to store music, films, videos and of course games saves is one that no Xbox gamer should be without. 120 GB of memory is more than enough for the average gamer. The hard drive is well designed to blend with the console perfectly. It is small and easy to store. However the price is pretty heavy compared to the cheaper 20GB versions. A problem with the memory is the fact that the hard drive does not actually have 120GB, obviously it wouldn't be exactly due to the need for the running files but several GB are actually missing. Regular cleaning is advised as dust tends to collect on the hard drive but a sharp blow into the docking port is sufficient to clear this. All in all this product is an incredibly useful addition to any Xbox 360 gamers...

Review of technics 1210's deejay tuntables

Advantages: proven track record, strong motor, good for club or bedroom deejay extremely robust
Disadvantages: I dont see many although some people may want to change the look of the turntable

...Recently the 1210's from technics have been under seige for the number one spot. they have been industry standard for over thirty years and every1 knows when you at the top you always have someone waiting for you to make your mistake. So Its unfortunate for the competition that technics dont really do mistakes and they are number one for a reason. They are not much to look at but the build quality and durability are out of this world, words cannot describe how smooth these turntables feel at your fingertips, i personaly have had 2 sets in the past the mark 3's and the mark 2's i own today ( my original decks are still going strong being used by a friend who bought them when i needed space ) They sell from anywhere between 500 to 600 pounds each brand new or you can pick up a second hand pair for below 600 pound. My wonderful Technics keyboard

...Ciao have finally put the category in for my Technics SX-KN2600 keyboard, so I just HAVE to tell you all about this wonderful musical instrument! I should firstly let you know that I'm a competent keyboard / paino player, nothing special but I can play a few tunes and write some half-decent songs. I don't claim to be a master musician or a master songwriter, but I do love sitting down at the keyboard and messing about, working with sounds and arrangements and seeing if I can suddenly "stumble" into a new song (because that's really the best for it sometimes- you can be absently noodling and suddenly find you have an idea for a song- it just builds from there). I have always loved playing the piano- from the age of five I always looked forward to going round my aunt's house to play the grand paino they had there- and many years ago...

Advantages: Stores a lot of music

The next price range was the Nano with slightly more memory of 8-16 GB and with video function. Quite small and at about £80 ok in price. Unfortunately it did not have enough memory for me, as I have thousands of tracks I like to listen to. So there it was, my new new baby: The 6th generation Classic ? It has a whopping 120GB of Hard Disk memory. It plays video and of course music. I got it for £160 and it?s definitely worth it. The instructions says it holds 30,000 songs or 150 hours of video. BMW 120D M-Sport

Advantages: Quick, Great Handling, fun and fuel efficient.
Disadvantages: Expensive, Run Flat Tyres, rear leg and boot space.

...I now own a BMW 120D M-Sport and after driving alternatives such as the Audi A3, VW Golf TDI and the Focus TDCI, i came to the conclusions the BMW was perfect for my needs. Out of the three the BMW had the best handling aside from the AUDi's Quattro system which i feel lacked the poise and preciseness a rear wheel car gives you(RWD is also much more fun). The BMW had more grunt than the other cars and is nearly half a second quicker than it's nearest rival (Audi A3). The ride can be crashy on less than smooth roads due to it's Run Flat Tyres which i may add are very expensive and wear out much quicker than standard tyres. They don't add any benefit to the dynamics and handling of the car. Please note Run Flat Tyres are fitted standard. The 120D however, does lack rear space but isn't at all cramped as long as the front driver...
