...Me and my boyfriend received this for Christmas from my parents. We tried to make it together doing different parts, but since you have to follow the instructions very carefully and do one step after another this was not really working, so I just had to sit next to my boyfriend and watch while he did it! My mum got this from John Lewis for £49.99 but it is also available from the Lego website for the same price. I have also seen Lego Technic available in Toys'R'Us so it is not hard to get a hold of. Lego Technic looks quite different from the 'normal' Lego that we all know. The parts are smaller than the normal lego bricks. It is like a more 'grown up' lego. Gotta Love Technics!

Advantages: Build quality.
Disadvantages: Would be good to have a wider pitch range.

...This is yet another update to the industry standard direct drive Technics SL1200 turntable. To be honest, this is not massively different to the M3 edition, the most noticeable difference is the white LED light and the anti-skate control (which I never adjust anyway). As with all Technics, this plays records at either 33 or 45 rpm and you have the option to select the speed between -8% and +8%. This turntable also has the 'pitch reset' button which, if pressed, ignores the pitch selected on the fader and plays the record as if at 0%. A nice feature, although I hardly use it. Putting the cartridge and stylus together was a tricky job but these things always are. HC 45 Does it help?

Disadvantages: only suitable for mild irritations

...over the counter. I decided to try them first. I used HC 45 and it seemed to work so this is what I am going to review. HC 45 contains the active ingredient hydrocortisone which is used to reduce inflammation. Inflammation happens due to irritation of the skin, and is caused by the release of various substances that are important in the immune system. These substances cause blood vessels to widen, resulting in the irritated area becoming red, swollen, itchy and painful. When hydrocortisone is applied to the skin it apparently works by acting inside the skin cells to decrease the inflamation reducing the itchiness etc. This is why it should not be used long term as it can cause the skin to thin. HC 45 can also be used on insect bites, but in any case it recommends that it is not used for more than seven consecutive days. Now...

E45 - Great for the Skin

Advantages: Moisturises, Nourishes, Smoothens, Softens, Good value for money
Disadvantages: If you like products with some sort of scent, this is not one of them

...I started using E45 when a friend of mine had it when we were still in school and prone to all sorts of pimples during our teens:) I have since continued using it (albeit on and off) as I felt the product really worked and is very effective on dry skin. E45 Dermatological cream comes in various sized all-white jars with the words E45 in white within a big blue caption and you cannot miss it on the shelves with other skin care products. You can get E45 in most Boots and Superdrug stores and pharmacies or supermarkets; It retails from about £2.50 for the smaller sized jar to £6 for the larger 500ml jars, you can get some of those with pumps too for easy application. Review of technics 1210's deejay tuntables

Advantages: proven track record, strong motor, good for club or bedroom deejay extremely robust
Disadvantages: I dont see many although some people may want to change the look of the turntable

...Recently the 1210's from technics have been under seige for the number one spot. they have been industry standard for over thirty years and every1 knows when you at the top you always have someone waiting for you to make your mistake. So Its unfortunate for the competition that technics dont really do mistakes and they are number one for a reason. They are not much to look at but the build quality and durability are out of this world, words cannot describe how smooth these turntables feel at your fingertips, i personaly have had 2 sets in the past the mark 3's and the mark 2's i own today ( my original decks are still going strong being used by a friend who bought them when i needed space ) They sell from anywhere between 500 to 600 pounds each brand new or you can pick up a second hand pair for below 600 pound. e45 - the dry skin hero!

Advantages: effective cream.
Disadvantages: a bit expensive

...I, like many others suffer from eczema and dry skin is often a problem. However, I think that e45 dermatological cream helps reduce the problem. E45 is non-greasy and unscented and helps to treat dry, flaking and chapped skin. It also helps sunburn too. Is there anything it can't do? Well it can't get rid of eczema completely but it dramatically decrease the problem. The product is also good as as it doesn't sting or cause any irritation. Just make sure to rub it in completely so there's none left wherever you've applied it and you'll have your skin smoother than a baby's bottom in no time! :) This one little tub does a big job. It's true what they say good things come in small packages....

My wonderful Technics keyboard

Advantages: Brilliant sounds! Beautiful to play
Disadvantages: Takes a while to learn navigation of the functions

...Ciao have finally put the category in for my Technics SX-KN2600 keyboard, so I just HAVE to tell you all about this wonderful musical instrument! I should firstly let you know that I'm a competent keyboard / paino player, nothing special but I can play a few tunes and write some half-decent songs. I don't claim to be a master musician or a master songwriter, but I do love sitting down at the keyboard and messing about, working with sounds and arrangements and seeing if I can suddenly "stumble" into a new song (because that's really the best for it sometimes- you can be absently noodling and suddenly find you have an idea for a song- it just builds from there).
