...Technics SC-HD350 Micro HiFi System I spent some time looking for the right stereo system. I wanted a Micro system but with separate units. I eventually decided upon the Technics SC-HD350 Micro HiFi system, because it was the only one that was both affordable and stylish (in my opinion). The technics system, I feel, is in a class of it's own, as the style is very much like many of the better known separate micro systems, but is much cheaper. The Amplifier The system's sound quality very good. I was used to using an amplifier, so I knew what sound quality I should expect. I was not disappointed by the sound at all. The amplifier unit is capable of sound reproduction in the range of -76 to 0dB (decibels). 0 dB is VERY loud, while -76 is virtually silent. Lego Technic Combine Harvester

Advantages: Looks so cool! Fun to assemble
Disadvantages: Don't misplace any pieces!

...Me and my boyfriend received this for Christmas from my parents. We tried to make it together doing different parts, but since you have to follow the instructions very carefully and do one step after another this was not really working, so I just had to sit next to my boyfriend and watch while he did it! My mum got this from John Lewis for £49.99 but it is also available from the Lego website for the same price. I have also seen Lego Technic available in Toys'R'Us so it is not hard to get a hold of. Lego Technic looks quite different from the 'normal' Lego that we all know. The parts are smaller than the normal lego bricks. It is like a more 'grown up' lego. Gotta Love Technics!

Advantages: Build quality.
Disadvantages: Would be good to have a wider pitch range.

...This is yet another update to the industry standard direct drive Technics SL1200 turntable. To be honest, this is not massively different to the M3 edition, the most noticeable difference is the white LED light and the anti-skate control (which I never adjust anyway). As with all Technics, this plays records at either 33 or 45 rpm and you have the option to select the speed between -8% and +8%. This turntable also has the 'pitch reset' button which, if pressed, ignores the pitch selected on the fader and plays the record as if at 0%. A nice feature, although I hardly use it. Putting the cartridge and stylus together was a tricky job but these things always are. Review of technics 1210's deejay tuntables

Advantages: proven track record, strong motor, good for club or bedroom deejay extremely robust
Disadvantages: I dont see many although some people may want to change the look of the turntable

...Recently the 1210's from technics have been under seige for the number one spot. they have been industry standard for over thirty years and every1 knows when you at the top you always have someone waiting for you to make your mistake. So Its unfortunate for the competition that technics dont really do mistakes and they are number one for a reason. They are not much to look at but the build quality and durability are out of this world, words cannot describe how smooth these turntables feel at your fingertips, i personaly have had 2 sets in the past the mark 3's and the mark 2's i own today ( my original decks are still going strong being used by a friend who bought them when i needed space ) They sell from anywhere between 500 to 600 pounds each brand new or you can pick up a second hand pair for below 600 pound. My wonderful Technics keyboard

...Ciao have finally put the category in for my Technics SX-KN2600 keyboard, so I just HAVE to tell you all about this wonderful musical instrument! I should firstly let you know that I'm a competent keyboard / paino player, nothing special but I can play a few tunes and write some half-decent songs. I don't claim to be a master musician or a master songwriter, but I do love sitting down at the keyboard and messing about, working with sounds and arrangements and seeing if I can suddenly "stumble" into a new song (because that's really the best for it sometimes- you can be absently noodling and suddenly find you have an idea for a song- it just builds from there). I have always loved playing the piano- from the age of five I always looked forward to going round my aunt's house to play the grand paino they had there- and many years ago...

Technically a Super Stereo

For a bargain price of £125. considering I can remember drooloing over it in my mothers Kays catalogue for years at the Grand price of £999.99 I would definitely say this was a BARGAIN !!! This Hi-Fi come s in 4 seperate components and two speakers, unfortunately I didn,t get the surround speakers with it as these do not come with this model, so if you require these you must purchase the model SH-EH600. It also has a mains lead, remote control and a AM Antenna The four different components are as follows: Sound processor, Tuner/Amplifier, CD Player and Twin Cassette Deck, the order I have wrote these is the order they should be placed. Usually I would buy them from Tesco's, but as I was In a hurry I popped into my local computer retailer (Northbridge Computers in Lowestoft) to see what he had available. All he had on this occassion was TDK CD-R80 discs. There was single CD's in cases, boxs of ten in cases and spindles of twenty-five and one hundred. I plummeted for the spindle of twenty-five as I wasn't rich enough at the time to buy the big fat one hundred spindle. ***Product*** The disc's themselves are light blue with a silver swirl on it. TDK CD-R80 is clearly stamped on it. There is plenty of room to write on them and they can store up to 700MB of data or 80 minutes recording time. It’s superwoofer is a good feature and the clock/timer feature is good too as it gets you up in the mornings. Technic Concealer with Tea Tree...Cheap Isn't Always Nasty!

Advantages: Cheap! last ages, does a decent job.
