One of the Main contenders in DJ headphones
Review of Technics RPDJ 1200 by
edlloyd01
Advantages: Style, comfort and ease of use.
Disadvantages: Average price??
...In my opinion there are pretty much 3 main contenders for DJ Headphones with designs that don't copy each other. Technics, Sony and Sennheiser. There are others but they are mostly just copies of Sony's MDVR 700. Such as Pioneer's HDJ1000, Stanton's DJ Pro 3000 and Beyerdynamic DJX1.
What I love about these headphones is the comfort. They really are a pair of comfortable headphones with their padded headband and nicely padded ear cups. It's not just the comfort level; it's the fact they stay on your head. When I DJ I tend to well...have a tendency to dance. This is why, for me, these headphones are great. They mold to your head and stay there, as they are lighter than most of the competition in this range as they only weigh 230g without the cord. With the rotary housing (which allows the arms to pivot at different angles and lock...

Technics CD Micro HiFi System
Review of Technics SC-HD 350 by
jala
Advantages: Modern simple design. Interchangeable unit arrangement. Remote. Very good quality sound output. Linkable to PC.
Disadvantages: Bass & Treble controls slightly basic.
...Technics SC-HD350 Micro HiFi System
I spent some time looking for the right stereo system. I wanted a Micro system but with separate units. I eventually decided upon the Technics SC-HD350 Micro HiFi system, because it was the only one that was both affordable and stylish (in my opinion). The technics system, I feel, is in a class of it's own, as the style is very much like many of the better known separate micro systems, but is much cheaper.
The Amplifier
The system's sound quality very good. I was used to using an amplifier, so I knew what sound quality I should expect. I was not disappointed by the sound at all. The amplifier unit is capable of sound reproduction in the range of -76 to 0dB (decibels). 0 dB is VERY loud, while -76 is virtually silent.
The amplifier has bass and treble controls, in the form of buttons...

Technics Hifi System
Review of Technics SH-EH500 by
Toady
Advantages: Execellent Sound, vaule for money and excellent features
Disadvantages: Can be too bassy
...I brought this Hi-fi system Technics SH-EH500 3 yrs ago now and cannot fault it in anyway. It cost me at the time of purchase £500 and is still worth every penny spent. It’s superwoofer is a good feature and the clock/timer feature is good too as it gets you up in the mornings. It's very powerful due to the many bass features it has so maybe a bit to powerful for a typical household environment. The Hifi it's self is very sylish looking Black with Gold trim.
It came with these accessories AC power supply cord, Remote control transmitter, Remote control batteries, FM indoor antenna, AM loop antenna set, Speaker cords and Antenna plug adaptor.
These are all the features on the Hi-fi:
Tuner/amplifier section
Clock/timer button
Power “standby” button
Timer on/off buttons (play & rec)
Tuning mode select...

Can't descirbe how amazing these headphones are!!!
Review of Sony Erricson W810i Headphones by
cooldude28
Advantages: Sound, shape, materials, Look, Feel, Music Experience, Price
Disadvantages: None
...These Sony Erricson headphones came with my Sony Erricson W810i mobile phone, I was quite impressed with what came with my mobile, as in the past not had much included when I buy a phone and I have got to say I was so impressed, very very impressed with the headphones which came with my mobile phone. The headphone came with things like USB Cables etc, and the cost of my phone was £160 (Jan 07).
The reason I bought a new phone, and this one was so I could take great pictures, and most of all store loads and loads of music, and listen to music on the go. With a previous phone I could not store alot of music, or really use headphones so I was really pleased when I opened the box and saw a phone, and headphones included, also a nice large memory stick to store loads of my favourite tracks on. I knew I would have fun with my new purchase...

Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Headphones
Review of Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Headphones by
mj0541
Advantages: Great sound, hardly any background noise
Disadvantages: the need for batteries, slightly comboursome
...These headphones, for their price ($200-350), are worth it. The sound quality and depth that the headphones produce are second to none.
The sound that is produced by the headphones is rich; the high end notes are crisp, and the low end notes make your whole head shake (depending on the amount of bass you put into them). The noise cancelling works like a charm. When on an aeroplane I cannot hear any background noise at all, I have finally found peace on flights!!! The headphones not only cut out background noise from aeroplanes but from anywhere else, on the bus they make it seem like your the only one there, they are even useful when not listening to music, noise just stops so you can have a quiet snooze in your garden or in bed. The leather that is fitted around the ear peaces and the strap that fits on your head is all padded...

Excellent NC Headphones for Travelers
Review of PlaneQuiet NC-7 Noise Cancelling Headphones by
afro_geoffro
Advantages: Comforable for long journey's, compact to store, good sound quality, great value
Disadvantages: Volume capability and bass sound could be better
...As a frequent traveller I find that I need some 'quiet-time' in the midst of bustling train stations/airports/ ferry terminals. A pair of noise-cancelling headphones (NCH)gives me just that - a quiet space in the midst of organised chaos.
I'd been looking for a pair of NCH for a while, but the problem I faced was that there were too many compromises: they were either too big, too expensive, or the sound quality was crap. I was all set to splash out serious money for a set of Bose Quiet Comfort 3 headphones when I stumbled upon the Plane Quiet NC-7 headphones. They met all my criteria - compact, good sound quality and at a reasonable price.
I've been using them for about a month now on ferries, trains, long haul and domestic flights and I love them! Here's a few reason's why:
* they come with a hard-shell case, which is great...

Sennheiser RS 140 Headphones
Review of Sennheiser RS 140 Headphones by
randalf_1
Advantages: Great build quality, nice sound output
Disadvantages: Noticeable drop-off in sound quality if you leave the room
...After angling for a pair of these for my birthday, my luck was in on the day when I unwrapped my wife's present to find these staring back at me!
As you'd expect with Sennheiser, the build quality is good. The base unit is well-designed and sturdy, with a couple of switches discreetly positioned at the bottom. The headphones are also well-built and comfortable, resting elegantly on the base unit's cradle to receive their charge. (The unit comes with a pair of rechargeable batteries as standard.)
Using the headphones themselves is extremely simple: plug the base unit into a "sound source", click the "tuning" button on the headphones and wait until it finds the signal. However, if you're in a house with a lot of other wireless signals, you'll most likely need to choose a different "channel" using the switch on the front of the base...

High quality headphones
Review of Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Headphones by
sjhill
Advantages: Fantastic sound quality
Disadvantages: None
...Many people have tried these headphones on flights, some airlines lend them to business and first class customers for their journey - that was the first time I tried them, although an aircraft soundsystem isn't really what you want to listen to...
That said, you can detatch the cable from the cans, and switch the headphones on, and listen to nothing more than noise cancelling.
The headphones are closed back, over the ear type, with a very comfortable headband, and is very adjustable (even for my big head). You need to put one AAA battery in to the headphones though - but even with the battery, they are not overly heavy or bulky. I am getting more or less a month and a half of battery life out of them, with several hours constant use each day. You're not going to be paying a fortune in batteries.
I use a pair of these headphones...

Unitone HD-3030 stereo headphones
Review of Unitone HD-3030 stereo headphones by
Abraham854
Advantages: Stereo sound
Disadvantages: Gets hot, especially if you are drinking a cup of tea at the time you are wearing them.
...Here are the specifications for the headphones:
1) The type of headphones are Electrodynamic
2) The frequency response is between 20 and 18,000Hz
3) The impedance is 32 ohms +/- 5%
4) The sensitivity is 105dB S.P.L. at 1kHz
5) There is an adapter plug which changes the plug size from
3.5mm to 6.3mm.
The headphones have a stereo/mono switch. The stereo sound that comes from them is excellent.
The headphones also have independent volume controls, which enable the user to vary them to suit the hearing capabilities of each ear.
The headphones can feel very hot after a while. If you drink cold drinks, you can cool down when you have them on. If you have a hot drink when wearing the headphones, you will sweat.
As you can see from the above picture, the cable on the headphones is coiled. If you are wiring them...

Creative HQ-2300D Headphones
Review of Creative HQ-2300D Headphones by
someboyathome
Advantages: Quality, Comfortable, Dolby Digital, Value for money
Disadvantages: Decoder batteries!!
...After researching on the internet, at different prices and various headphones that was available, I wanted a suitable headphone that I could use when I didn't want to disturb the neighbours late at night using my surround sound and to be value for money.
The Creative HQ-2300D Headphones are a great addition to the market, incredibly comfortable; sound including bass is fantastic and with the decoder sounds even better.
I already own a dozen headphones, mostly made by Sony which is all relatively small and fit inside the ear, which limit the sound usually to the standard stereo sound. These are great once connected to the decoder to get that true Dolby digital surround sound in your ear. Originally I wanted a wireless option, but a lot of negative reviews convinced me to stray away and opt for these.
They feel of great quality...
