...it in case anyone was stuck wondering why it didn't work. ~~Music Quality~~ I have to say I'm not fussy about these things so can't give you an in depth analysis. I could hear the songs fine and there was no hissing or background noise. ~~Disadvantages~~ Now I don't mean to be fussy, obviously this is probably the cheapest MP3 player you will ever buy, but I do have a couple of quibbles. ~Locking~ I came to throw my new player in my bag as per usual and realized there is no way of locking it. As I tend to carry mine round with me all day I am used to locking it so that if you accidentally press the buttons it won't switch on. ...I have been debating whether to splash out on an mp3 player for quite some time now but always seemed to have something else to spend the money on so had not purchased one until now. While picking up some essentials I spotted the Technika MP-906 mp3 player which Tesco are currently retailing for £4.97 and so decided that at under £5 what the hell. I have to say it is probably the best £5 I have ever spent. For this price you don't expect much and so I was expecting a lightweight flimsy feeling piece of kit, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The first thing you notice when you remove the player from the packaging is the quality feel of the player. Just as I was reaching the end of my tether I visited the Tesco Direct website and I came across the Technika SH-7065 7MP Digital Camera. It was £49, black, quite stylish and compact looking, it was in stock with next day delivery available and the icing on the cake was you were getting a free canon inkjet photo printer with it, she was over the moon and I was instructed to order right away! Needless to say I was over the moon too a she always manages to finish the ink on my printer, printing off photos of her and her friends posing. ...When my son asked for an MP3 player so that he could take it to school for art, my first thought was no way because they are to expensive for someone to pinch. We were in Tesco and noticed this product for only £15, so I took a closer look. It is a small mp3 player which is good, because you can hide it well, especially when outside, it comes with 4 different face covers and does not take batteries, so yes I bought it, on the understanding that we will see how he takes care of this one and then we will by him a better if he does take care of it. Well we have no need to buy another one because this little mp3 is brilliant. ...Why does the lunatic always sit next to me on the bus, and why do they always speak to me? This is where the MP3 player and, in particular these headphones, come into their own. I know everyone says that but in my case it's true, honest! It is especially pertinent to me because I don't drive and have to get the Trawscambria bus from South Wales to Aberystwyth on a regular basis. It's a three and a half hour journey the latter half of which is serious lunatic country. You really need to be able to point to your headphones and shout "I can't hear you Mr. Lunatic-with-a-dog-on-a-string!" I recently bought an MP3 player from Tescos to this purpose for £12.97. ...Technika television all though not a very common or well known brand is a exptional product of very high quality. I own and am very pleased with my Technika television that we purchased from our local Tesco store. It was easy to install with auto setu so it's basically plug it in and it's all ready to use. The quality of picture is very good and does not have any reflections from the sun shining on it that i have found very irritating when you are trying to watch something on other brand of televisions. The picture is sharp and well contrasted with brilliant colour. The sound is also very high quality never fuzzy and never any varied volumes. The television itself is in a subtle silver colour fitting in well with any bedroom colour a credit to the room itself. It is none bulky and doesn't take up much space making it easy... Read review

...The Mp3 player phenomenon has gripped the world. Wherever you go, you can't fail to spot people wearing those 'Inner Ear' headphones, (or ear buds as they're now called). However, where you used to see a large Walkman or personal CD player slotted over someone's belt, Mp3 players are so tiny and discreet, that you can't tell which model it is unless the listener is holding it in his hands. Consequently, you're left wondering if their player has a larger memory than yours, or if it's an expensive I Pod, or a budget Alba model from Argos. Unless you ask them, you'll never know. Apple I-Pod's, as you no doubt are aware, are ridiculously expensive, whilst the bottom of the range players may only come with 256 or 512 MB memory. Advantages: Free music, never skip, cheap, light, small, easy to use, can get any sone you could imagine

...MP3 is LOADS better than MD for many reasons. One is that if you don't mind getting your music illegally, all your music is completely FREE OF CHARGE! Using software such as Napster, which lets you search for MP3s from other user's hard disk drives, you can find literally any song you could ever want, and then download it to your PC and MP3 player. This is also good as you don't have to carry lots of discs around with you. Also, you can choose the sound quality of MP3, so you can have around twice the sound qaulity of CD or MD if you wish, but it will take up twice the space, or the same as CD or MD, or less, depending on how much space you have on your MP3 player. Also, MP3 players are much lighter than MD, and NEVER skip as there are no moving parts. There is also less to go wrong with the electronics of the player... Read review
