Advantages: Compact, Stylish

...Technika television all though not a very common or well known brand is a exptional product of very high quality. I own and am very pleased with my Technika television that we purchased from our local Tesco store. It was easy to install with auto setu so it's basically plug it in and it's all ready to use. The quality of picture is very good and does not have any reflections from the sun shining on it that i have found very irritating when you are trying to watch something on other brand of televisions. The picture is sharp and well contrasted with brilliant colour. The sound is also very high quality never fuzzy and never any varied volumes. Technika 8" digital photo frame good value for money

Advantages: 1GB internal memory built-in, easy of use
Disadvantages: May not be recognized by certain computer e.g. XP Home with AMD chip?

...My Mrs wanted me to buy a digital photo frame because our friends have recently got one. So I started to look at the most common 7" frames and then she said they are a bit small. The next one up is 8" but with much less choices. That is not too bad because it is easier to make a decision. It was down to the final two - Tesco's Technika SR08 or the Linx 8" from Amazon. While I was browsing and investigating at my leisure, Amazon suddenly raised the price from £52.43 to £78.28! This makes the Linx too expensive. So I have just bought the Technika SR08 from Tesco Direct for £58.48 instead. The set up was easy - plug and play (well not quite that straight forward, see below). For the picture display the screen resolution is 800 x 600 pixels, better than the Linx DPF. However the manual did not mentio the screen...

Small Speakers, Small Sound

Advantages: Small, lightweight, can be used with any mp3 player

Review of Speakers' Corner, Hyde Park, London

Technika LCD 22-408 LCD TV

Advantages: Brilliant features, at a low price
Disadvantages: None that outweigh the bargain price

...I also bought this TV from Tescos for just over £200. A great purchase. For the price you pay, the quality of picture is perfectly decent, and sound fine. Not really a main TV, but great for a bedroom or small area e.g. kitchen. Functionality is superb - built in DVD, ipod, HDMI etc. Can watch ipod videos as well as use it as a speaker system for the ipod with ability to control ipod from remote. Overall I am more than happy, and think this TV is awesome value for money/features. One piece of advice - when conencting your ipod to the TV (especially ipod touch or iphone) you need to switch off the wifi on the ipod (wireless connection) as this interferes with the TV speakers, which I intially thought was either a fault or slight negative re the budget TV - but actually isnt!
