Maclaren Techno XLR
Review of Maclaren Europe Limited Techno XLR Buggy by
csbeecher
Advantages: Great for baby to walking, wider, studier, taller but still with great manoeuvrability.
Disadvantages: Hood is a bit lightweight and can get in the way when seat is fully reclined
...I have had Maclaren buggies since my son was 6 months old. My son is now just over 3 years and I have a 10 month old daughter. My last Maclaren was the techno xt which I have just swapped for the xlr for a number of reasons:
1. The xlr is bigger so can hold either my son or daughter comfortably. It is wider so my son is not squashed in and there is a lot more headroom. Although it is wider it is still narrow enough.
2. Its weight limit is a lot higher than most lightweight buggies at well over 20kgs which once again means that I can use it for both children, plus it also fits a car seat if needed.
3. The hood extends with a nifty zip, so when you recline your baby the sun protection is still offered. This is also great for creating a darker environment for your baby to sleep. This is a great feature.
4. It is pricier...

Techno Animal's best.. NOT techno
Review of Brotherhood Of The Bomb, The - Techno Animal by
des901
Advantages: Original, addictive, progressive
Disadvantages: None, though its appeal may be limited
...Firstly, this album's clasification 'techno' is wrong, allthough wholely understandable due to the group's name. Techno animal, stands for technological animal. It is an expiremental hip hop project, created and produced by Kevin Martin (God, The Bug) & Justin 'man of a thousand sounds' Broadrick (Godflesh, Final, Head of david, Jesu, Napalm Death, Ice, etc). Broadrick and Martin originally came from a punk rock background and have worked in many bands and different forms of music, techno animal began as a sideproject in the mid 90's as an outlet for both artist's increasing interest in hip hop music.
For those who are about to turn away after reading the words hip hop, stop right there. This is not a conventional hip hop album per'se and may well appeal to people who are coming from either an electro or rock music background...

Star Wars
Review of Star Wars: Force Commander (PC) by
De_Niro
Advantages: Good graphics, sound effects, originality, playable, interesting and many more.
Disadvantages: a bit
..., advanced system MIRP, and also a volumetric fog and dynamical illumination leaves the most pleasant impression.
Sound and Music
Here it is difficult to tell, something new. Lucas Arts it was always glorified by excellent musical tracks and the highest level of a three-dimensional sound. This time to us offer all same, but under sauce ultra fashionable a techno-bat.
Conclusions
Force Commander - excellent three-dimensional strategy with elements of tactics and an extraordinary degree of realism. The twirled subject line, knowable characters, fine quality of a sound and visual lines, and also the original universe of star wars does not give you to start missing from some not too serious game blanks. Force Commander is the hundred-per-cent hit designed for all generations of players and admirers of boundless world Star Wars....

The TOTAL total low-down on the Maclaren Techno!
Review of McLaren Techno Buggy by
Wackywaith
Advantages: Light; Compact; Easy to fold; Suitable from birth; Good quality
Disadvantages: Stability issues; Lack of storage; Not for uneven surfaces
...**Background**
I have owned my Maclaren Techno Classic for nearly two years so I think I know it pretty well now. We are buddies! I bought this buggy as an alternative to my Graco travel system after doing much research. It is an single umbrella stroller with two separate handles, a small basket, passenger foot rest and a sun canopy. I have two children who have both used this buggy. My daughter is now 2 years old and my son is 6 months old.
**Specs**
The Techno weighs 17.4Ib which makes it a nice, light stroller, whilst still retaining some important features like a sun/rain canopy.
It folds down in an umbrella style to a size - 43" by 11". This makes it easy to transport in smaller cars or by public transport.
**Age range**
The stroller is suitable from birth as it features *almost* fully reclining seats. I emphasise...

Save Money the "Techno Wash" Way
Review of Techno Wash by
CarolB
Advantages: Drastic reduction in the amount of washing powder needed
Disadvantages: Need to add some powder for heavily stained garments
...Are you fed up with your laundry bills? I know I have been for a long time. Whenever I go shopping, and I need washing powder, the price seems to have crept up yet again. Apparently the reason for the expense is because the powders and liquids contain enzymes that are very expensive to make. So one day, when I was at a friend’s house I saw an item in her GreenPeace Catalogue for laundry discs which can be used without powder or with a small amount of powder or washing detergent. Green Peace claim their system works for 500 washes. So I decided to investigate further and looked on the Internet for more information. Lo and behold I found “Techno Wash”. For £15 plus £1.95 postage and packing, the stockist will send you 3 discs which should last for 1 year. So I rang up the stockist to find out more information. I...

Maclaren Techno XT
Review of McLaren Techno Buggy by
VJPearson
Advantages: Light, manouverable
Disadvantages: small basket
...I have had my New Maclaren Techno for 4 weeks(Isabelle 23/12/05) Isabelle is my 4th child and I have been through a variety of buggies and pushchairs - so I carefully researched - including this site - to make sure this time I got the right one.
My criteria were, It must be...
Easy to push - The maclaren is amazingly easy to push , its very light and very controllable
Be comforatble for both me at 5'5 and My husband at 6' to push- I took Hubby to Mothercare to try it out before we bought it , and He wizzed round the store with it - It has handles that you can change the height of to accomodate different people - very handy!
Practical - obviously Isabelle is only little yet, so we haven't had to clean it yet - but it looks easy to clean and is practical - the seat is removable and washable.
Have a good raincover - All...

Too Faced Lip Injection Techno Buff Review
Review of Too Faced Cosmetics Lip Injection Techno Buff by
Girlyshop
Advantages: It actually works, that is a definate advantage
Disadvantages: The stinging can be quite intense. Prolonged use may cause immunity to ingredients
...Too Faced Lip Injection Techno Buff Review by Girlyshop.
Supposed to plump lips using natural ingredients. By golly it works!
This tiny tube of gloss looks just like most other gloss products on the market, however it has a tingly secret.
The gloss is very rich and thick, but the sponge applicator makes application easy. The idea is the ingredients stimulate the blood vessels in the delicate skin tissue and pull blood into the lips, making them appear fuller for a short period.
I applied the gloss and waited. After a few minutes I could feel a tingling sensation, which turned into a slight burning sensation, which did fade after about 10 minutes. I couldn't feel that my lips were bigger, but the mirror said otherwise. My lips were fuller, less lined and definately more juicy looking.
The gloss does have some sparkle particles...

McLaren Techno XT buggy
Review of McLaren Techno Buggy by
pooliebaby
Advantages: lightweight, Manoeuvrable
Disadvantages: quite expensive
...I bought the Maclaren Techno XT buggy as a replacement for a cheaper model I had to return to store. I chose this particular model based on what I had heard of the brand name and also because it was light weight and appeared to be durable.
The pushchair will last a family for many years as it is quite roomy and will grow with a child..
As it has a 4 position adjustable seat it can be used for a child from birth. My son likes to sit up and although he is only 5 months old, it is possible for him to sit semi upright in this buggy and take in the world as he pleases.
It has suspension on both the front and the rear wheels that make it very easy to push as well as swivel/ lockable wheels. I don't use the lockable facility as this makes the pushchair difficult to turn. The only use I have found for the lockable wheels...

Mclaren techno XT - Won't last the test of time!
Review of McLaren Techno Buggy by
Sharondp
Advantages: Lightweight & compact
Disadvantages: Doesn't stand the test of time!
...responsible for this but they wouldn't admit it!) The folding mechanism jams from time to time too.
Having mentioned this to other Techno owners, these problems are a common occurence. Yes it's great at first, but most people buy one as a lighter option to a travel system, so of course it's going to be like pushing a feather, but beware - this is not a good long term investment!!!...

My nose, my nose, its broken.
Review of Bic Techno 273 by
margyle
Advantages: Nice when planing.
Disadvantages: Nose breaks off too easily & BIC customer relations are very poor.
...are using the same nose design !
The moral of the story is : the Techno 273 is an OK board, but only buy one if you are sure the end of your boom will never hit the nose. My advise - try one of StarBoards windsurfer boards (the "GO" is excellent) instead.
***********************************************************
Update : Sept 2001
After breaking the nose for the fourth time I finally had enough and part exchanged the techno in for a Mistral Flow which is a much better board - look out for my review on it.
