...and bought me a very funky looking mp3/4 player. It’s about 5 inches in length, 2cms depth and roughly 2inches wide so you can probably tell it’s very slim line an small, ideal for tucking away discreetly anywhere. Mine is white in colour but it does also come in black (hubby also has one for fathers day will explain more after!). The name of it is TeckNet V70 1.8" Screen 1G MP4/MP3 Player With 1.8" LCD Screen and Build in FM, we purchased both of them one white and one black with an extra set of earphones from www.amazon.co.uk for the amazing price of £52.95 this included the shipping of £11.97 so I think that this is remarkably cheap for what we received. ...TeckNet are an online company who specialise in MP3/Mp4 players and they do have quite and extensive range for very reasonable prices. The quality is good although to be fair for the price you are paying for some of the items you are not seriously going to expect top of the range plastics and other components. Having said this they are sturdy and do do the job they were intended to do. The first thing I am going to mention is the manual which is translated from Chinese and not very well at that. You almost need a degree in Chinese to understand a word. Even reading the power on paragraph took me ages to decipher, to eventually come to the conclusion which paragraph it was. ...TeckNet V70 mp3/4 player. Sounds technical, well it is. Technical to put you off buying as you don't understand the product. Well in my opinion what is to understand, since the release of mp3/mp4 players, technology has advanced, and also saved us customers a lot of hassle within the music industry. This product allows us to download as much music as we can possibly think of and keep it there, organise into albums, for easy use, instead of carrying around a bulky item such as CD players. It allows us a quality of sound never had before, clearly precise, and adjustable through bass, and treble bass. Video's for a long journey, as well as films. ...of the huge black smog cloud that arises from the exhaust pipe of so many other diesel powered cars when they touch the gas. Our V70 came with tinted glass, alloy wheels rear spoiler, and looks like a nice car. Unfortunately, it still isnt a car for boxophobic people. Volvo did several handling tweaks in the V70, and has far less body roll than the 850 and previous Volvos. The interior is improved over the 850 and has a rounded dashboard and rounded door cutouts. The doors are still 3 inches thick, but open more easily because of their redesigned handles. Volvo also moved the electric window buttons from in between the seats, to on the doors meaning you arent as distracted when you are driving and want to open the window. Seats and sun-visors are the same as in the 850, but are still extremely comfortable and were voted to be the best... Read review

...I originally posted this review under the Volvo V70 2.5D by mistake. I have updated the report too. The car is a 2004 (2005 MY) Volvo V70 D5 S. The D5 is a 2.4 litre "common rail" diesel and the S spec has cloth seats, climate control, fuel computer, and a single CD / FM Radio (which at least has LW for the cricket). Mine has a very light interior (they call it Oak) and the dashboard causes a lot of stray reflections on the windscreen - not good for night driving. The V70 is a nice looking car but it does not have the robust build and quality of finish that have been associated with Volvo in the past. It is also not the supreme load carrier that Volvos once were - you get a much bigger load space with a Mondeo. My V70 has proved to be a very disappointing car with numerous days (24 in 6 months) spent off of the road and too many... Read review

...A phones a phone right, WRONG.it's not just a life line it's a status symbol and says a lot about the type of person you are.It suits me to a T cos I'm slim good looking and user friendly. I have recently purchased my V70e outright for 369.99 GBP from the Carphone Warehouse.It is available on pay monthly tariffs for a lot less but I preferred to just buy it. One of the first things that attracted me to it was the fact that it is the best looking piece of kit i've seen for quite a while.It has a sleek chrome body and a distinctive round screen which you can see even when the keypad is not visible,so like the samsung A300 you only need answer the calls you want to. It has all the main features you'd expect from Motorola as well as some new one's.The fact that it has the capacity to hold up to 590 names and numbers is a god send... Read review

...I bought a 3 yr. old V70 D5 SE to replace my petrol engined 850 SE 2.5 10v. which was 12 yrs.old.Impressions as follows: comfort greatly improved, turning circle not as good-but can be lived with.Acceleration from start off is not quite the same,but once you are rolling it is superbly torquey, making overtaking easy.After 3 years of trying to make the 850 more economical I could get an average of 31.5 mpg. on a 1,300 m. trip to & around Scotland.This D5 163 hp V70 is currently averaging 54mpg for similar driving!! - enough said. Performance is more than adequate- if I wanted a sports car I would have got one ! Servicing is less frequent than with the 850, and so far I can only say it does everything I want very well-- would I go back to the petrol powered 850,.....NEVER!!..........................Ivan H.... ...This review is for the car with SE specification trim which adds full leather seats, upgraded stereo and possibly a few more bits. I bought this as a 3 yr old car to replace my volvo T4 which was getting a bit old. I'd always liked the look of this model and decided to go for a diesel as economy should be better without too great a loss in performance. If you want comy and supportive seats then you need look no further than this, the seats are truly superb. I guess that's one of the reasons so many police forces have these cars on traffic. The upgrade dolby pro logic stereo is good if you sit in the front but for rear seat passengers sound is truly appalling, far too much bass and voice is difficult to pick out. As for performance, it is a bit sluggish pulling away but mid range, say 40 to 70 mph it just flies. It makes... Read review

...The V70 is a city car. It has low ground clearance and looks stylish to ever qualify as trail-rated. By stylish I don't mean the V70 will sissy out on more difficult drive applications. More than once I have noticed a slight drop in the V70 power output on the trail. Folk at www.swedishpartsshop helped me replace the stock cold air intake of the engine and, limited as the V70 is by its low suspension, that did the trick. Its spacious cabin and leather seats, moreover, make the V70 accommodating on cross-country drives, especially for children. My V70 sports a T5 engine, which boasts of a 300bhp power output on average. Not what makes a trail-rated car better equipped, but the V70 is all right in the city streets and tolerable on the trails. Combined with the V70's all-drive capability, the T5 reminds me of what a "civilized" RV... Read review
