Best Kept Treadmill Secret, the Weslo M5!
Advantages: Tidy and compact, easy to use, feels sturdy and you can run upto 10 miles an hour!
Disadvantages: Little bit noisy, it is a bit of a pain to have to change the incline manually
...Weslo M5 Treadmill
In my Opinion a Good Quality and Great Value basic running machine
I was looking for a cheap piece of home fitness equipment, I decided on a treadmill but needed something to fit my budget and my expectations in terms of quality and durability. My research led me to the Weslo M5 - made by Icon in the States who have a good reputation in the fitness industry for quality which was a an important factor for me in terms of getting value for money.
In m opinion, the Weslo M5 is by no means a cheaply built treadmill, it's a solid, neat, reliable machine and folds away without being too big and bulky, and at around 65kg it's not as heavy as some.
Its a good looking compact, starter running machine and would probably suit most people up to around 18 stone. The machine itself has all the basic features, nothing...

My Toshiba Tecra M2 - Warming up to Progress
Advantages: Light, versatile, packed with features
Disadvantages: It's still a laptop
.... Comparable models retail as low as $1,029 in the U.S., with a price tag of $1300 being more common. As near as I can tell, the Tecra M2 retails in the UK for £1200 - £1700, with £1300 being about average.
◄Final Thoughts►
Weighing in at just under 5 pounds (2.3 kg), my Toshiba is growing on me. I can see the day coming when, at least for work purposes, my desktop will be retired to obscurity. I see that already with many of my colleagues, most of whom swear by docking stations and the easy portability of their notebooks. My work with graphics and large desktop-publishing projects has so far saved me from that fate. My reputation as a modern Luddite is temporarily secure--but only temporarily. Based on what I've experienced with the Tecra M2, I'll likely give in without much of a fuss. Though naturally I'll insist...

Why Buy a Tecra?
Advantages: Fast, Great Graphics Chip, Light (2.6kg)
Disadvantages: Expensive, Sensitive to registry changes
...Why did I buy the Tecra 8100?
First of all what I wanted was a desktop replacement machine, one on which I could do all my spreadsheet and word stuff as well as play games. I am an engineer so I need good connectivity options as well.
The choice was:-
Dell Inspiron 3800, 5000, 7500
Toshiba Tecra 8100
HP Omnibook 6000
The Dells are very good machines, I used to old an old 7000 series. The 3800 is light and quite quick, the 5000 has all the multimedia features you need, the 7500 has even more. But... The 3800 is not meant to be used as a desktop replacement, it doesn't have the oomph for that. The 5000 and 7000 are great machines but heavy.
The HP Omnibook is the machine I would probably buy by choice except that it is very expensive and uses the ATI graphics card
The Tecra is not as expensive as the Omnibook and uses...

Toshiba Tecra A3
Advantages: Portable, easy to use
Disadvantages: There are better laptops available for the price
...I decided to use a laptop as I'm constantly running from college, to uni to home to london! I needed a laptop that would be easily transportable, with long enough battery life to last. I chose this laptop as it was simple and came with Microsoft Office and Anti-Virus. I would only be using it for my college/uni work so it seemed to suit my needs
It is relatively low-spec, although you can buy additional memory but I would not use it for gaming, essentially its a student laptop.
It is quite light (2.7kg) and it's relatively small (33.8cm x 28cm x 3.7cm) this all adds up to make it very easily transportable. I havent bought a carry-case for it because Ive had no need for one, it is small enough and light enough to fit nicely under my arm.
It is very robust, even with the amount it has been transported it has only a few minor...

If Only Words Could Describe It
Advantages: There is no car that comes as close to perfection
Disadvantages: I couldn't even come close to affording it
...BMW, a name eternally connected with, sporty refinement, class, image and the slightly less glamorous adjectives such as reliable and well built. The 5-Series has been around for a couple of years now and has become a permanent fixture in company car parks and suburban driveways. The economical man goes for the diesel, the dull man goes for the 520, but the smart man goes for the best, the M5. No, not an English motorway, but the original and best sports saloon in the world.
I have never driven a car more perfect than the M5, but I would love so much to make driving such a beast a daily occurrence. M5 owners must invent reasons for driving ("We only have 3 bottles of milk left love, I?ll run down the shops in the car for more"). Nothing surpasses this package. It is technically far superior to any other competitor (there is no Merc E...

It beats sleeping in lay-bys
Advantages: Handy for the motorway without being noisy
Disadvantages: OK for an overnight stop but not really where you'd want to spend TOO long on a roundabout
...the venue and spending silly money on a room when we'd be too drunk to notice what it was like was a no no. I checked the points balance on my Holiday Inn loyalty card and booked us a room at the Holiday Inn Express near Taunton.
Our HIE was at Junction 25 on the M5. It was a short drive from the wedding venue and my lovely husband volunteered to stay sober and drive us back at the end of the evening which turned out to be a good deal since there was an obscene amount of champagne on offer. The address seemed rather vague and I wasn't feeling confident that we'd find the hotel but it really was literally on the roundabout at the exit from the motorway. Check in was quick with nothing much to do because I'd booked on loyalty points. We were given two swipe cards and instructions to our room which was on the first floor.
I'll be honest...

Good budget hotel
Advantages: modern
Disadvantages: lack of restauarant at weekend
...etc). I did notice in the reception area though that there is a microwave that guests can use, so I guess if you picked up a ready meal it'd be ok, the hotel reception also had a fridge filled with juices, yoghurt's etc that could be purchased, however, it was all really just snacks. The hotel is located just off the M5 and is easy to find and is a great travel hotel if you need to break up a long journey....

M5: The Remixes
Advantages: Hip Hop remixes are all bangers
Disadvantages: Electronica tracks are terrible
..."Call and Response" is a remix album from Maroon 5, released in 2008. It has them use material from their first two records, "Songs About Jane" and "It Won't Be Soon Before Long", and get both Hip Hop and Electronica producers and vocal performers to do what they can with the material, and interpret in the way which their genre sees fit. The Alternative Rock band, led by Adam Levine, give complete control to the guests.
1. "If I Never See Your Face Again" (feat. Cross and Swizz Beatz)
To get things going, you get a banger of a cut as Cross (who I hadn't heard of) does a rap, before Swizzy drops a classic cut (used in Missy Elliot's "Work It", Run-D.M.C.'s "Peter Piper" and World Class Wreckin' Cru's "Cabbage Patch", it is my favourite break of all time, and worked very well with the track which they used. Swizzy does more work that...
