...a quick sniff and it smelt quite nice so I thought for 50p it was a bargain and even if it ended up going to someone as a small stocking filler for Christmas it was worth it. The triangular shaped bottle which looked very unusual had pink writing on the front telling me it was made by Ted Baker but the logo didn’t make the name very clear although I finally worked out that it is called ‘W’ a rather odd name for a perfume in my opinion but hey each to their own. The bottle which was about 15ml in size has a metallic pink screw lid and then a separate clear push on lid which fits nicely over the top. ...I received this perfume as a gift at Christmas time. Not having tried this one before and being quite fussy about my choice of perfume I was intrigued to find out what I thought of it. THE BOTTLE Nothing fancy, quite an ordinary looking bottle. Square shaped from the front with quite a narrow depth, this bottle is clear glass with a metallic silver base, a square clear plastic lid and silver coloured spray top. The name X20 is on the glass front of the bottle in pink graffiti style writing. Above it in smaller writing is Ted Baker London and below is Extraordinary THE SCENT The scent of this perfume is made up of Mirabelle plums, water lilies and precious woods giving a sophisticated, sensual musk fragrance. ...Should I have been offended at Christmas when I recieved over 5 different bottles of aftershave from different people? Well that's what comes of having three sisters, a girlfriend and a Mum! Now no longer living at home means that I can get away with only wearing the ones given to me by my family when I go around, but the one my girlfriend gave me-let's just say I had little choice in whether I wear it or not! So it's a good job that I liked it really. I like clean, fresh smelling scents that are not too overpowering and Ted Baker SkinWear certainly fits into that category.I would describe the smell as being quite fruity and in particular, lemony, but with warm undertones. ...Why am I writing about aftershave? OK, so you all know that I have terrible, terrible taste in men, right? ...This is the last in the series of the set that I obtained recently and probably my favourite out of the five if I’m honest because its just so easy to wear. My dinky bottle varies slightly from the larger sixes available to buy, but the scent is still the same. I attempted to do some research into the background of this fragrance, but couldn’t seem to find out all that much about it seeing as Ted Baker, who puts his name to the fragrance seems more into selling clothes on his website (www.tedbaker.co.uk). I did manage to find out that this fragrance was launched just over 5 years ago now in September of 1999. This is recommended for everyday wear by most websites I visited and is tested on humans as opposed to animals. My little bottle only holds 5ml and is quite a standard shape, made from clear glass... ...Having recieved the Ted Baker Skinware gift set for Christmas, I was assured by the buyer i.e. my mother, that a prolonged discussion of fragrances had gone on in Boots prior to her buying it. Apparently, it came well-recommended from two young lads aiding my mother in her purchase and the sales lady, who was also extremely fond of the fragrance. Being aware of the product being an FHM grooming product winner a few years ago and of the two previous opinions on Ciao as well, I was definately expecting an excellent product but in all truth, I was quite dissapointed. Naturally the first thing to note about Skinware is the packaging and design of the bottle. The gift set comes in a rather drab silver box with the three items neatly packaged inside and the actual Eau de Toilette bottle is also rather drab and mundane to say the least... Read review

...It started of with a little test bottle in a selection pack, and I must admit that I was hooked immediately! I still have the other perfumes; they have only been used once. The Ted Baker Women tester was finished within just a few days. Shortly after I managed to get my man to buy me a 50 ml bottle (retails at around £30-35) and I am as addicted as ever. This is the most incredible fragrance, both fresh and sporty. It is not over-powering in any way; however it does last for hours – so there is no need to constantly re-spray during the day. I hardly ever use another other perfume nowadays; the Ted baker woman is the fragrance for me. It is a perfume that can be worn to work, days off or even for that special night out. I can recommend this fragrance to all the women out there, and it has now become a must have present at Christmas... Read review

...Ted Baker's WOMAN perfume is a bit of a shock to the senses. It is a very thick and powerful scent, and it has a strange note to it too. In the background there is a funny smell, like over ripe papaya or something. This is what puts me off this perfume a little. I have worn it several times throughout the summer, but decided to keep it for the evening as it did seem a little bit too heavy for during the day. I quite like the design of the bottle - all little holes in a grey/silver background, that you can see the perfume (which is transparent) through. First sniff of this and it may put you off, but let it dry and absorb into the skin, and you never know, you might just like it after all. Not a firm favourite of mine, but it's okay for occasional wear.... Read review
