...We make annual trips to Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I love shopping and in somewhere like Los Angeles there are always opportunities for a spending spree. So during the 10-hour flight I sit and think up all the must-haves. Top of the list is always Teen Vogue, my favourite magazine. Admittedly it’s not something incredibly easy to find as, when you’re strutting around Hollywood it’s not very likely you’ll find a newsagents as you would on the corners of streets in England. However, standing in a Virgin Megastore, I pick up the latest issue along with a copy of ‘Teen People’ and anything else that may appeal. ...Hollyoaks I have watched HOLLYOAKS for a few years now, finding it a much-needed source of entertainment and one of the more light-hearted soaps compared to the likes of EastEnders and Coronation Street. This teen soap set in Chester - shown on both Channel 4 and E4. Once only broadcasted twice a week, you can now watch Hollyoaks five times a week. Monday, - Friday on Channel 4 at 6.30 and you can watch the next episode on E4 (first look) straight after. Episodes last about 25 minutes. After the credits have run you get a short scene taster to encourage you to watch the next episodes. There's also an omnibus showing Sunday mornings from 9.50am - 12.25 on Channel 4. ...I am probably a little out of the average viewer age range for Hollyoaks but i watch it. The programme airs for 30 mins, 3 times a week on channel 4 and it is aimed primarily at teens/young adults, ( a category to which i belonged once although a number of years ago) but i do feel it tackles alot of real life issues that we can relate to, be it from our own past or in our childrens present. Most of the issues dealt with are nothing particulary new to soap drama (ie teen pregnancy and drug abuse), but the recent male rape storyline, which was the conclusion of a long bullying campaign, covered a taboo subject and credit to the production team and cast for managing to handle it so well. ...Set in the sleepy New England town of Capeside, Dawson’s Creek follows the lives of 6 troubled teens. Firstly there’s Pacey, the prankster and the good-looking one. He is the best friend of Dawson, who’s a bit of a nerd and very irritating. he wants to makes movies when he’s older, though I doubt that’d ever happen with his limited talents. Joey is a tomboy and the love of his life. Throughout the three series their relationship has been very on-off. At the end of Series 3 she sailed off to spend the summer with Pacey, putting a large rift in his and Dawson’s friendship. Andie is the girly one. ...As a teen I can say that this is the best and most popular radio station that I know. They have top DJ's such as Dixie and Emma Scott (but sadly Daryl Denham has left the morning show). The 24 hours of quality radio bring entertainment at any hour, but it is not just music. Richard Tandy hosts a phone-in on Sunday nights open to the public to air their views on-air on serious topics such as alcohol and drug use and abuse as well as teen pregnancy and bullying. This is the best local radio station for our area and easily fights off the competition for ratings.... Read review

...Since I first set my eyes on this American Teen Programme i was hooked. The characters - amazing, the plot - wonderful and the drama - unbelievable! (this may not be too up to date as i have watched it on BBC2) WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? This is a teen romance/sci-fi thing. Basically there are a bunch of aliens who come to Earth and then they fall in love with the people there although there is lots and lots things happening as well. IS IT EASY TO GET INTO? Well i have been wathcing it since the start but my friends say it is really simple to get into except they don't know what a few things are... so there is no stopping you. ...This is a great magazine for any teen looking for all the latest music, Television and all round entertainment gossip and news.The Magazine is avaliable every Tuesday for only £1.10 and i usually buy it every week. As a Teen i find it very interesting and well worth the money as you can find out about loads of things. The First few pages are Latest Celebrity Based news which is going on in Celeb World and they usually have quite good storys then it has the page where the Paparazzi have caught celebrities out and about. Also it is most likely for them to have an article interviewing a group or artist asking them all of the questions you know you are dying to know, but don't think its all celebrities, oh no , then there is The Cringe Page , Good news for Readers , Bad News for the ones cringing. .../actresses are of a very good standard and are able to be diverse with their storylines! People also say that it is only for teens; I really disagree as I know alot of older people who watch it (including a woman in her 70's!) Over the years Hollyoaks has had a lot of storylines including rape, teacher-pupil relationship, cheating and affairs, teen pregnancy, bulimia, homosexuality, illegal immigrant who married to stay in country, drug abuse, abortion and a lot of deaths!! ...How much teen angst can they put into a half an hour slot? It seems nothing good ever seems to happen to the youth of Chester. If we are not having romance disasters then were having drug dealers kidnapping several people and holdng them hostage. Having said that Hollyoaks has targeted hard hitting issues. Issues which some other soaps wouldnt touch with a barge pole. They make use of their prime time slot and mostly young teenage audience to hit home the trauma of drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, underage drinking and evem tackling sensitive issues of child abuse both sexually and physically, abortion and the recent storyline of male rape. The channel four helplines after the show for anyone going through the same experience are also extremely helpful. Certainly if i was able to choose when to relive my teenage years it certainly... ...Will Smith stars in this comedy at a fairly young age. The comedy is about a guy who lived in the big city but got into a fight, so his parents sent him to live with relatives in Bel Air. When he gets there he lives with his Aunt and Uncle and cousins. His nature is very cheeky and subersive, but this matches the comedy incredibly well! Will leads the family into different fiascos and mischeif, as well as potentially dangerous situations. He gets grounded nearly every episode but always bounces back to fight another day!
