Tefal Actifry absolutely fantastic indeed

...I was thinking about buying one of the Tefal Actifrys for sometime about 1 year to be exact. I was not disappointed at all and it is fantastic. You must ensure though that you really rinse the potatoes well to get rid of the starch and not only that dry the potatoes before you add them to the actifry. You only need 1 tablespoon of oil, any oil will do but I prefer a good quality olive oil, the chips turned out perfect, I didn't need to do them for the full 35-40 minutes stated as they were cooked in 30 minutes but I cannot rate this Actifry highly enough. Dietetics departments recommend this too so it must be good. I am well impressed, Don't worry, get one....

...In October 2009 I bought a Tefal Two Slot Avanti Toaster, which cost £23.95 from the Amazon website. General information Tefal is a world wide brand originally from France. It is a leader in non-stick cookware, pressure cookers, electrical cooking appliances, food and beverage preparation, irons and scales. The toaster I ordered from Amazon is, to give it its full name, a Tefal TT704115 Avanti Toaster, 2 Slice, Chrome and Black. Compared to old toasters (including my broken one) it is rather stylish and modern. The angled top is chrome and the case is black plastic. It looks the same as the picture you can see on ciao website. The package is a small rectangular box and easy to open. It contains a toaster and a consumer booklet. Tefal Protect

...Tefal GV 9150 Protect Turbo Out of all the household tasks ironing is the one I hate and the one I am useless at. So when my iron died a death a couple of months ago I thought I would invest in a steam generator iron. Whilst they are expensive they all claimed to cut your ironing time down by half, which sounded good to me. I opted for the Tefal Protect Turbo as I liked the idea that you could cover it with a hood and put it away still hot, without fear of scorching anything. And also with a small child in the house I also liked the protect function. Having said that I always wait to iron until he is in bed to avoid accidents. . Ok so what's the iron Tefal Protect like? Tefal VC101616 is awful!

Advantages: Looks nice, cleans easy.
Disadvantages: It has many disadvantages and once I have found the receipt I intend to return it.

...I had an old steamer which I bought at a market for £10 but it got old and decided to purchase a new and more modern one. I thought this product ticked all the right boxes yet the first time I tried it instantly realised it was very dangerous. The first bowl is insecure in the unit and liable to topple over and if you do manage to secure it down you cant then get release it from the drip tray which can then be full of hot liquid, the drip tray appears to have grip indentations to enable you to lift it but this tray gets extremely hot - too hot to handle, the lid is not easy to hold either. I would not recommend it to anyone. I have gone back to using my old Rosemary Conley (digital with external re-fill spout, very sturdy - perhaps Tefal could learn a few things from her)....
