It's like a ****** sauna in here!!!
Review of Tefal 2911 Express by  shandyboy

Advantages: Superb constant steam, no need to refill, do ironing quicker!
Disadvantages: Base unit is bulky, doesn't fit on smaller ironing boards

...have to have it stood on the actual ironing surface or on the floor. I am going to get a more reasonably sized ironing board soon but even so it's still not too annoying and the ease of ironing now more than makes up for the base's bulky size. It's fantastic not having to refill with water every 10 minutes and the steam means I get rid of more creases first time. I think if you add up all the time you spend/waste ironing, then you really owe it to yourself to make this time spent as easily as possibly, and maybe even quicker too. The Tefal 2911 iron can do this - truly a modern miracle!... Read review

Tefal gv8150 pro express turbo, the best tefal yet
Review of Tefal GV 8150 by  cat1510

Advantages: Continuous steam, 2 minutes heat up, great steam output and great finish
Disadvantages: cleaning required on a regular basis

...I run a small ironing business and I have used many tefal irons in my time. I can honestly say that the GV8150 is the best yet. It give a great finish to clothes in half the time and is ideal for large or small loads. The steam output is great for all fabrics and the turbo boost of steam really helps with stubborn creases. Another advantage is that it has continuous steam so you can carry on ironing even if you run out of water. This has come a long way from the lesser steam generators when you had to wait for the steam to settle before opening it to refill it. This was time consuming and quite dangerous for the ones who tried to speed the process up(a few minor scalds on my hands on occassions) It also heats up in about two minutes so can be used for a couple of shirts without having to wait forever. It is durable, as so... Read review

GV 8160 WHY FIX WHAT IS NOT BROKEN?
Review of Tefal GV 8160 PRO Express Turbo by  cat1510

Advantages: STILL A GREAT STEAM GENERATOR, GREAT FEATURES, GREAT FINISH IN HALF THE TIME
Disadvantages: TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IS AN OLD MODEL IN NEW COLOURS

...As the owner of a small ironing business I have had my share of trial and error with different ironing system. I have, however found that the Tefal range and especially the Tefal pro express GV8150 was the best one I have had. Well, to my surprise, Tefal have got a new version. Just had to get it (well business expense and all) and see if the new and improved version would once again enrich my lonely days of ironing. Decided to order it and wait with trepidation for the delivery(have to get the excitement where you can). Once it had arrived, end of the day as usual, I couldn't wait to try it out so I got some of my own ironing and got going(yes sucker for punishment, I know). All my previous experiences with new versions was always a treat as they always had something more to offer. I opened the box to unravel a very similar... Read review

This steam iron is a real blast!
Review of Tefal 2910 Express by  GrimTweaker

Advantages: Makes ironing easy, ergonomic design, lots of available steam
Disadvantages: Heavy, and needs a special ironing board for maximum effectiveness.

...I'll come clean. I never usually do much ironing. Mrs Tweaker takes care of that. (I do the cooking as payback) However, I accidentally broke her last Tefal steam iron by trying to use de-scaler in it (You're not supposed to do this) so I was duly dispatched to buy a new one. That's when I spotted the Tefal "Pro-Express". For starters, it's more ergonomically designed than its predecessor. It looks good. The iron now rests on its base at an angle, easier to handle like this and slightly harder to accidentally knock off it's perch. The other advantage is the new way of filling the steam reservoir. In the old model, you had to unscrew a rather chunky valve-like bung, and pour water inside. It was hard to see the water level, and difficult to know when you had run out. In the Pro express, it's easy. There's a detachable reservoir... Read review

LADIES...BETTER THAN A MULTIPLE ORGASM
Review of Tefal Ultraglide Pro Express Generator Iron by  flashpointz

Advantages: smooth, effortless ironing in a fraction of the time
Disadvantages: high price - but worth every penny

...store and see all the items looking immaculate. Yet, after you get them home, wear them, wash them and iron them, they just never look quite as great as back when they were hanging in the shop. What is the secret? My wife used to be Manager of a Ladies clothes outlet and told me that a great deal of the time they arrive in store looking no better than your wash at home, full of creases from being folded and packed in bags. But, to get those awful creases out, the stores use a high pressure steamer, that looks a little like a vacuum cleaner. Not something that has been generally available to the consumer until pretty recently. Then came the arrival of the ‘Steam Generating Iron’ – not to be confused with an iron just giving you a ‘shot of steam’ . The TEFAL PRO EXPRESS 2500, is one such product. To all intents and purposes it looks like... Read review

MAN, IVE GOT MY SELF A PRO !!
Review of Tefal 4294114 PRO Express Turbo by  micheledog

Advantages: Leaves more time for more important things
Disadvantages: you dont want to share it.

...was going to be a long drawn out process as usual. It took me minutes to understand the instructions and maybe longer to put up my board. A BIT ABOUT MY BABY, The Tefal turbo pro express steam generator basically comes in two parts, The iron itself : is white, on the top side of its handle is Turbo steam button, blue in colour, which is pressed with your thumb to let out turbo blast of steam. Underneath the handle is another blue button, which you pull up on, with your index finger whilst ironing to let out an ordinary jet of steam, (ordinary being better than any steam I have ever experienced) Underneath of your fingers whilst holding your irons handle is the temperature control slide that controls the iron. Just below this switch is the thermostat light. Attaching the iron to its base is a rubberised cotton coated flex... Read review

Steam Supreme.
Review of Tefal 2910 Express by  Bigbaz

Advantages: Light and rapid to use
Disadvantages: Expensive

...generator iron” I was suitably impressed and decided that she should have one of her own. I know, don’t say it flowers would have been better and yes I know, I haven’t got an ounce of romance in me but the intention was there. I looked around at Curry’s and found one that met, what I considered to be the criteria. It was the Tefal Express Steam 2910 and it was priced at pennies under £145. A quick look next door at Comet found the same iron at £134.95. So with a tenner saved away I went happily with my purchase but would my wife I wondered be so happy, after all it is an awful lot of money for an iron. Removing it from its packaging we were confronted by what appeared to be a conventional iron sitting at 45 degrees on top of a base unit with a clear plastic window at one end. The iron and the base are connected by a hose measuring... Read review

Dashing away with the smoothing....Steam Station
Review of Tefal Ultraglide Pro Express Generator Iron by  helencbradshaw

Advantages: Gets the job done much quicker
Disadvantages: It's still ironing!

...town that particular afternoon and the only instruction I gave was that he should get one of those new fangled irons, with the big water tank beneath. He returned with the Tefal model 2500 Pro Express and paid a total of £89.95 for it, from Comet, I believe. We have owned the little beastie for five or six weeks now, and I have to say it is worth the additional expense over a standard iron anyday. The iron has a one litre tank, which the iron can rest upon, horizontally. This capacity means you can get through piles and piles of ironing without having to top it up. Of course I haven’t tested this feature, as I iron as and when I have to, which is as infrequently as possible. It is recommended that the tank is rinsed through after every ten uses. The iron is extremely powerful. I used it to iron some bedding in an emergency... Read review

Reliable Tefal
Review of Tefal Integral Iron by  backstreetwoman

Advantages: Reliability of Tefal, top of the range cookware
Disadvantages: None

...I have become a bit of a Tefal lover over the past couple of years, mainly because of the reliability of course, but also for the look. Yes, I know, a typical 'girlie' thing! Amongst my many Tefal products is my set of Integral Saucepans bought for me by my daughter. After I constantly moaned about my previous set of pans that had seen better days, she very sweetly bought them for me from QVC who often have Tefal hours presented by the lovely Annette Baker-Malpas. The Integral Saucepans are the top of the range of Tefal pans and quite simply, the best. As well as the well-known non-stick interior favoured by Tefal, the Integral saucepans, which come in a very attractive slate grey colour - ideally suited for most kitchen colour schemes - they have toughened glass lids, which won't shatter easily, and have steam vents which can...
