Reliable Tefal
Review of Tefal Integral Iron by
backstreetwoman
Advantages: Reliability of Tefal, top of the range cookware
Disadvantages: None
...-safe. This is so handy if you want to complete a meal by putting it in the oven for a while. No more transferring into another dish to do so.
There is a lifetime gurantee that comes with the Integral range that covers the non-stick interiors against peeling or bubbling but if you look at the quality of the non-stick interior you can't believe there will ever be a problem with it anyway!
As the Tefal Integral Saucepans are the top of the range, they aren't cheap. My set of 5 saucepans plus frying pan were £90. Although this is a lot of money for a set of saucepans, I feel that they will last many many years unlike some cheaper versions. When Tefal feature the Integral range of saucepans they often allow the customer to pay on Easipay, thereby spreading the payments over 3 to 4 months. Ideal if you want an equisite set of classy saucepans...

This Tefal Could Be Lethal
Review of Tefal Delfina Jug Kettle by
mickeydumville
Advantages: Stylish Looks & Cord Storage In Base
Disadvantages: Care Needed When Pouring Boiling Water
...on you pushing a plastic locking button and pulling the filter out. I've got fairly chunky fingers and I found it cumbersome to remove. Providing you de-scale regularly and keep the filter clean, there's little problem with lime scale beating the filter. The mesh does a very good job in that department.
At the bottom is the element and again I think Tefal have been slow. They've used a 2.2 kW element where 3 kW may have been more suitable. If you shop around there are smaller kettles than this one using such an element. These kettles are labelled 'rapid boil' or something similar. Cookworks, Morphy Richards and Kenwood are just three manufacturers making this type of kettle.
It sits well on the base and the cord can be adjusted to suit your needs with any spare cable being stored underneath. This in my mind is a big plus for Tefal as you...

Tefal Steam Cuisine Steamer
Review of Tefal Steam Cuisine 1000 Turbo Diffusion Steamer by
Martinscholes
Advantages: Great idea saves time
Disadvantages: None
...areas of houses, apartments and flats apparently laughingly described as 'kitchens' of considerable importance.
The steamer consists of a base unit (complete with controls) and three tiers above it. It comes complete with 3 steam baskets (though you can use two if required) a removable base which has an integrated egg holder, a rice bowl, a juice collector and a water inlet.
It also has a feature called a "removable turbo ring scale remover." My wife says: "This is a great idea. It really helps by getting rid of the limescale and stops it building up on the element. This is absolutely brilliant as it helps protect the element and ensures that no energy is not wasted, nor cooking time increased by limescale build-up."
An advantage of the Tefal Steam Cuisine Steamer is that has an electronic timer and the version we have comes...

Quick cuppa with the Tefal QuickCup
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
dbarcl10
Advantages: Warm water in 3 secs, energy saving
Disadvantages: Doesn't boil water
...The Tefal Quick Cup is a type of kettle, but instead of boiling a whole kettle of water to make a single cup of tea, the Quick Cup heats only the amount of water required, therefore saving energy. Tefal claims that a cup of hot water takes only 3 seconds and I was sceptical at first, but its true.
The machine itself is mainly black with a stainless steel control panel on top, and has 2300w of power. The machine is made from high quality plastic, so is easily cleaned with a wet cloth. The water tank holds 1.5 litres of water, and has space for a Claris water filter if required (one comes in the box).
One touch of the red button on the top of the machine provides a steady flow of hot water, enough to fill an average sized mug. If you want less, just press the red button again. For more, either press the red button once again...

3 second kettle...i think not!
Review of Tefal BR303844 Quickcup by
pages3
Advantages: energy saving, very quick
Disadvantages: noisy, clouds water, water not boiling
...Trendy, fashionable, sleek and modern it is, practical it is not.
I bought this kettle for 54.99, expensive for a kettle but the amount of times I pop the kettle on during tv ads and then forget to make the drink must end up costing a lot of money and damage the environment, so I decided to do my bit and go eco-friendly.
The delightful design looks attractive in a modern kitchen, and it does have the 'expensive' look, yet the 3 second hot water is not in my eyes as it has been described.
Tefal claim that hot water is dispensed to make a cup of tea or coffee, however the water appears to only be heated and not boiled. I contacted tefal as i found the product to be extremely noisy and they claimed this was usual, as it is the claris aqua filter. Not the best noise to wake your household with when making your morning brew...

Click, 1....2....3...... Done.....
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
flutterby13
Advantages: Energy efficient, very fast and filtered water
Disadvantages: Maybe the price, water cools down quite fast, but it could be me!!
...The Tefal QuickCup is somethig quite like no other. It offers what you want from a kettle, but in the sort of time you want - 3 seconds!
It's very handy if you're a little short on time or fancy a quick brew. Its clever system is designed to measure out a 200ml cup of hot water at the touch of a button, and poured in a very short space of time. Its small and so doesnt take up much space on the kitchen work surface, and has a very appealing design to it. However, like most pieces of technology, its not without its downsides.
It does need regular top up of water, as you would find with a kettle. However, the Tefal Quickcup only holds 1 litre, as opposed to the normal 1.5litre kettles found in most homes. This is, of course, only minor. But it does mean that if it runs out of water half way through your cup, you've got to stop...

Tefal Quick Cup
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
sophie131
Advantages: Quick and stylish.
Disadvantages: Badly made.
...Thought this would be a revoloution, but alas, it wasn't to be! We saw this being advertised on television on one of the shopping channels after we bought ours and didn't play up at all like ours did, ours made SOO much noise it was silly and it would also vibrate an awful lot. The cool function also wasn't cool, it was luke warm which is not what you want if you are expecting cold water! The water capacity is the same (maybe a little less) as an average kettle so nothing really to compare on that front.
With prices around the £60 mark, it does make it an expensive purchase but with Tefal's claims of the energy saving ('Up to 65% energy saving compared to a standard kettle') it could be worth the investment depending on how much hot water you use. Also you have to take into mind the cost of refill filters and if it's something you...

Tefal Quick Cup - Stylish - 65% energy saving
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
fatcatz123
Advantages: Quick, very efficient, easy to clean, in the long-term saves you money
Disadvantages: would be nice if there was a cup/mug size selection, if used, filters not cheap.
...Great efficiency, as the only tea drinker in the household, this product is extremely efficient - hot water in only 3 seconds - it does puff & blow a bit (similar to the noises made on Red Mountain coffee adverts!).
Tefal claims energy saving up to 65% , compared to a standard kettle.
I work shifts and often come in from work, put the kettle on and then wander off distracted, waiting for it to boil, frequently I would come back to the kettle and find it had cooled so i would have to switch it on again - wasting electricity.
The whole item is reasonably smart looking - clear/black/stainless - not an ugly thing to have on the worktop.
The model I have has two buttons on the top, one to just have filtered water, the other you either press once to have a mug full delivered, or keep your finger on the button and let go when you...
