Perfection to a tea
Review of Tefal Tea Maker by
headgardener
Advantages: Excellent cup of tea, economic
Disadvantages: None
...Tefal Perfect Tea maker.
The Tefal Perfect Tea maker makes pot like tea, quickly, safely and efficiently.
It is available from selected electrical stores and some Home Shopping companies.
The normal selling price is around £20, however my husband bought mine at Christmas last year for £10 in a sale.
Having always preferred tea made in a pot, I was dubious about the accuracy of the claims made by this company, and keen to use my new present, I was convinced that it would be just another dust hoarder to be used once in a blue moon, and to spend the rest of its life in a cupboard with so many other useless kitchen appliances.
The Tefal Perfect Tea maker is capable of holding sufficient water when slightly filled above the 4-cup level, which is clearly defined on the side of the Pyrex jug part of the unit.
It is possible...

Quick cuppa with the Tefal QuickCup
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
dbarcl10
Advantages: Warm water in 3 secs, energy saving
Disadvantages: Doesn't boil water
...The Tefal Quick Cup is a type of kettle, but instead of boiling a whole kettle of water to make a single cup of tea, the Quick Cup heats only the amount of water required, therefore saving energy. Tefal claims that a cup of hot water takes only 3 seconds and I was sceptical at first, but its true.
The machine itself is mainly black with a stainless steel control panel on top, and has 2300w of power. The machine is made from high quality plastic, so is easily cleaned with a wet cloth. The water tank holds 1.5 litres of water, and has space for a Claris water filter if required (one comes in the box).
One touch of the red button on the top of the machine provides a steady flow of hot water, enough to fill an average sized mug. If you want less, just press the red button again. For more, either press the red button once again...

This Tefal Could Be Lethal
Review of Tefal Delfina Jug Kettle by
mickeydumville
Advantages: Stylish Looks & Cord Storage In Base
Disadvantages: Care Needed When Pouring Boiling Water
...on paper they did! The cheapest model on the shelf was £24.99 and I wasn't having that. Sticking to my original price and my spirits down I returned to the car. I couldn't go all night without a brew, besides my free Yorkshire tea bags had arrived and being new to ciao I'd pencilled them in as my second review.
Tesco are the next nearest supermarket so off I went. The only item in my price range was the Tefal Delphina cordless kettle priced at £14.99. Decision time, did I waste more petrol and travel a fair distance to Asda, or did I buy the Tefal which after all was in the price range I had set myself, even if it was only by a penny? You've guessed it, as I'm reviewing the kettle I bought it.

Not my cup of tea
Review of Tefal BR303844 Quickcup by
Nicki2964
Advantages: Energy saving, easy to use
Disadvantages: Water dispensed is hot - not boiling. Noisy
...This seemed like a fantastic idea because as a mum with 2 small children, I am forever boiling the kettle - getting distracted & having to reboil it again to make my cups of tea ( of which there are many)
Tefal claim that this machine will save 65% of your energy, compared to using a standard kettle as it only heats the water needed for your cuppa. This makes it much more environmentally friendly than your regular kettle, plus it can also dispense cold filtered water, saving the need for bottled water if that's your thing. Actually the 'cold' water is at room temperature as it is not a chiller.
It is extremely easy to fill and use and takes up less space on my worktop than the seperate filter jug & kettle that I currently use. however, that's about as positive as I can be.
When you read the booklet inside the box, you discover...

Tefal Quick Cup
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
rugbyrhino1965
Advantages: Filtered water
Disadvantages: Not as hot as a normal kettle
...I bought this item in August 2007 as i have a lead feed pipe to my home so I was really attracted to the idea of have filtered water straight from a "kettle". Having got the unit home and rinsed through it was put to work making a brew of both Tea and Coffee.
My wife is the Tea drinker and was a litlle disapointed that the water was not as hot as a normal kettle and the Tea bag needed agitation to ensure that sufficient flavour was gained. On the coffee side I was happy that the instant powder was not scorched as this does make the drink bitter. I did agree that the drink was not as hot as usual but soon worked out the secret of the Quick Cup.... the first few seconds of water are not as hot as the rest. I seems that the unit works like a combi-water heater in your home and need to run for a short period to reach full heat.
I have...

Tea Tree Oil The eighth wonder of the world
Review of Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil by
MagicWend
Advantages: Multiskilling.
Disadvantages: Price
.../Toning – If you use cleanser or a facial wash, you can add a couple of drops, as the cleaning power of tea tree is amazing at controlling spots and blackheads. Alternatively. If you use a liquid toner, add a couple of drops to this, for a refreshing tingle, but avoid your eyes.
Steaming – If you have a facial sauna or a Tefal steamer, you can have a therapeutic tea tree facial sauna, which is very cleansing and detoxifying. A few drops on a cotton wool ball or pad, placed in your steamer will do the trick. This is also excellent for coughs, colds, runny noses, as it is a decongestant as well.
Mouthwash – 5 drops in 25 ml of water will see off those germs and smells. This is also excellent for sore throats, and can be used as often as you like. Do not swallow, as this is poisonous when ingested.
It can be added to a base oil...

A Revolution in tea making.
Review of Tefal BR303844 Quickcup by
DAkuma
Advantages: Too many to list here!
Disadvantages: Slightly noisey, splashes without raising the mug. A light film can develop
...**EDIT**
I would like to update this review, as I have found further down the line that the film on the top of the water that I said I hadn't experienced has now made an appearance. This cooincided with when I installed the claris filter. I was using my own filter at the tim eof writing and suggest anyone else do the same. Keep a filtered jug full and fill the Tefal when needed. Also, the Tefal works harder and uses more energy with it's own filter, as I noticed it doesn't pump as much water through, and also makes it slower. Don't use the filter if you have your own!
**END OF EDIT**
My kettle was not faulty, but I was encouraged to buy this for several reasons:
1, the 65% less energy consuption per cup.
2, Getting tea at the touch of a button without having to measure out a cupful each time.
3, Only waiting 3 seconds...

Tefal Quick Cup
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
sophie131
Advantages: Quick and stylish.
Disadvantages: Badly made.
...Thought this would be a revoloution, but alas, it wasn't to be! We saw this being advertised on television on one of the shopping channels after we bought ours and didn't play up at all like ours did, ours made SOO much noise it was silly and it would also vibrate an awful lot. The cool function also wasn't cool, it was luke warm which is not what you want if you are expecting cold water! The water capacity is the same (maybe a little less) as an average kettle so nothing really to compare on that front.
With prices around the £60 mark, it does make it an expensive purchase but with Tefal's claims of the energy saving ('Up to 65% energy saving compared to a standard kettle') it could be worth the investment depending on how much hot water you use. Also you have to take into mind the cost of refill filters and if it's something you...

Tefal Quick Cup - Stylish - 65% energy saving
Review of Tefal CCQH2 Quick CUP by
fatcatz123
Advantages: Quick, very efficient, easy to clean, in the long-term saves you money
Disadvantages: would be nice if there was a cup/mug size selection, if used, filters not cheap.
...Great efficiency, as the only tea drinker in the household, this product is extremely efficient - hot water in only 3 seconds - it does puff & blow a bit (similar to the noises made on Red Mountain coffee adverts!).
Tefal claims energy saving up to 65% , compared to a standard kettle.
I work shifts and often come in from work, put the kettle on and then wander off distracted, waiting for it to boil, frequently I would come back to the kettle and find it had cooled so i would have to switch it on again - wasting electricity.
The whole item is reasonably smart looking - clear/black/stainless - not an ugly thing to have on the worktop.
The model I have has two buttons on the top, one to just have filtered water, the other you either press once to have a mug full delivered, or keep your finger on the button and let go when you...

Reliable Tefal
Review of Tefal Integral Iron by
backstreetwoman
Advantages: Reliability of Tefal, top of the range cookware
Disadvantages: None
...I have become a bit of a Tefal lover over the past couple of years, mainly because of the reliability of course, but also for the look. Yes, I know, a typical 'girlie' thing!
Amongst my many Tefal products is my set of Integral Saucepans bought for me by my daughter. After I constantly moaned about my previous set of pans that had seen better days, she very sweetly bought them for me from QVC who often have Tefal hours presented by the lovely Annette Baker-Malpas.
The Integral Saucepans are the top of the range of Tefal pans and quite simply, the best. As well as the well-known non-stick interior favoured by Tefal, the Integral saucepans, which come in a very attractive slate grey colour - ideally suited for most kitchen colour schemes - they have toughened glass lids, which won't shatter easily, and have steam vents which can...
