A useful replacement for the Wii sensor bar

Advantages: A relatively cheap spare sensor bar. Good for a second TV or a quick replacement.
Disadvantages: The cable is still flimsy. Other sensor bars are even cheaper.

The Gillette Sensor Excel Vs The Mach3

Advantages: Very lightweight, Blades last a long time, good close shave

...For many years now I have used a Gillette Mach3 razor and I had never had any problems with it to make me want to replace it with something else. On a shopping trip earlier this year however I made a bit of a boob and instead of picking up a packet of replacement blades for my Gillette Mach3 I purchased a pack of replacement blades for the Gillette Sensor Excel instead. Unfortunately the mistake was not realised until after I had ripped open the packaging destroying any possibility of returning them for a replacement. I had paid £7.49 for a pack of 10 blades for the Sensor Excel so my mistake looked like it was going to be quite a costly one. Gillette clearly make their blades so that they are not compatible with other models. During a trip to Wilkinsons to purchase the proper blades for my Mach3 I spotted the Sensor Excel on offer...

According to an article I read Nintendo say that the sensor in the device supplements the accelerometer and Sensor Bar capabilities of the Wii Remote to enable actions to be rendered identically on the screen in real time. THe Wii remote plus was released in June 2009 and I think it's been a great addition. So far I have only used it with Wii sports resort games such as archery, table tennis etc but I have to say that I do see an improvement in the movement of my bats/balls etc. It's like you are actually playing as it's very sensitive and hits the ball just when you would expect it to in real life. I have heard people say that these remotes are too sensitive but I have not had a problem with this...
