Advantages: Great to watch with mates and a beer or ten
Disadvantages: You lose track of time watching it
...Eddie and Richie have just arrived at Wimbledon Common. They are here for a camping holiday. After avoiding all the dog mess, they find a spot to pitch camp. Eddie is far from thrilled at the idea of camping. Richie then asks him where his Romance is. Apparently she works in Sketchley’s on a Saturday afternoon. Richie perseveres by asking where his sense of adventure is, but this draws the reply that she lives in Chiswick. Richie then asks where his spunk is but promptly decides not to pursue the line of questioning anymore.
Eddie finds out the hard way that they are expected to camp for a week after losing a bet at the pub. Eddie can only remember ordering two pints of mild. Once the tent is up, Eddie thinks that they will be very close in the tent. When Richie says that they will have their sleeping bags to keep themselves “...

documentary or just lost campers
Review of The Blair Witch Project DVD by
Terrie
Advantages: Scary edge of your seat type movie.
Disadvantages: I think they could have given more info about the Balir Witch and what might have to these kids.
...happened where people either died or had sightings involved with the Blair Witch. These 3 kids made up a girl and 2 boys. They locate a rock known as Coffin Rock where something had happened; something like campers bodies being found or something.
These kids quickly get lost. But it seems to take them awhile to figure this out. They have a map, which they follow religiously. After spending a night or two out there, they start realizing that maybe they are lost. They look at the map. Heather keeps insisting that they are heading in the right direction and that they keep heading that way. Finally they set up their camp, and things keep getting even stranger. They hear things outside the tent like a person walking around outside. Heather and Josh go out to check things out but Michael won’t come out his tent. Why? Because he’s CHICKEN...

Blair Witch Project
Review of The Blair Witch Project DVD by
sutab10
Advantages: Horror
Disadvantages: Filming
...they start mentioning about the BWP the toddler weeps a little and that well you cannot tell a baby to just cry at any moment since these things are natural and well perhaps the students were at the right position at the right occasion.
The people that were conference are either actors or related to the actors or the director planned it out for them to be interviewed but remember in this film not everything that was in the film was rehearsed or on the script because if you go to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185937/trivia you will find out a lot of information that you did not know about the film such as "Heather Donahue brought a knife into the forest while filming was taking place because she didn't like the idea of sleeping with two guys" and "In a scene where the main actors are sleeping in a tent at night, the tent suddenly shakes violently...

Abysinnia, Henry
Review of M.A.S.H. - Series 3 (Box Set) by
Shroud
Advantages: heartfelt and meaningful storylines with a touch of classy humour
Disadvantages: still no extras!
...characters that occasionally are pivotal to the plot of several episodes. I will not list all of them as the list would grow unmanageable, but instead will stick to the main cast.
We have Alan Alda portraying the somewhat liberal and sarcastic swinging bachelor doctor Benjamin Hawkeye Pierce. An extremely gifted surgeon, he is unwillingly drafted, and refuses to be Army, though willing to care for his patients as per his Hippocratic Oath. He drinks heavily due to the mental toll the war has on his pacifistic soul, living in the pig sty of a tent nicknamed The Swamp, with co-conspirator, draftee doctor Trapper John, played by Wayne Rogers. Trapper is married, but is a bit of a philanderer, though he adores his wife and kids. He knows he has double standards, but figures the war gives him leeway. He is the one who manufactured the still...

fear lies in yourself ... and in the woods
Review of The Blair Witch Project DVD by
RobStead
Advantages: different to all other types of horror films
Disadvantages: leaving us with questions that need answering at the end
...by spoof news reports shown on the internet and by the mini-documentrary made by the 3 students at the start of the film.
Heather, Josh and Michael (the actors actually play themselves) are just three ordinary student film makers. Their emotions shown throughout seem so realistic. Throughout their expedition they become to think they are being hunted. Each night when the 3 are in their tent, they begin to hear strange noises outside. All 3 are scared and Josh and Michael begin to get agrivated when she persists to record everything. One night these noises were of little children and babies screaming. The students run in panic. When they return in the morining, they see that Josh's bag has been ran-sacked and his possessions scattered around.
The next night horror is discovered when Josh is missing. Heather and Michael search frantically...

Do you believe....
Review of The Blair Witch Project DVD by
Sarah_Louise
Advantages: Excellent acting, makes you feel you are there with them, eerie
Disadvantages: Just niggling little things really, see op.
..., oh, and a compass, map and tent!
What makes the film seem even more realistic is the fact that the students interview a few residents of Burkittsville about the Blair Witch before they set off on their journey. Some don’t believe in the legend while others do, plus there’s one who claims to have seen it. To add to the realness (lol, there I go again!) the person who claims to have experienced the Blair Witch is dubbed to be a ‘weirdo’. Just like what you’d expect in real life.
They then leave the relative safety of the town and head up into the woods….
You then follow the students’ journey up into the deepest parts of the woods. You see it all from what they’d be seeing (because they’re filming it from their own cameras after all!)
As you might expect if you were...
